Alivio Tourist Park.
The staff were fantastic. Great facilities for the kids. Basketball, tennis, ping-pong, foozball etc. Handy to central Canberra. Cabin was modern and only complaint was a bit of mould in the bathroom.

Absolutely terrible holiday park I never ever met
When I late check in the park around 23:30pm , I found there was no heater function of the air com. Called hotel customer service, the staffs said "I'm not maintenance or I can't change cabin for you, I can't help you anything, there is blanket in the room you might have it!" OMG, it was 0 ℃ at the time, NO HEATER and ask us to take blanket only. It's freeze in the cabin. After argue with him, he took two portable heater for us, however they were all not working. There is another staff pick up the phone when I try to call again, he come and check all heater, confirmed all heater not working & ask us to change cabin. OMG, I have set up all my luggage & my kids have slept already. He brought another one heater for us which is alright after 30 mins, but we have booked two bedroom. Finally we have to sleep without heater! It was terrible experience at this holiday park, Absolutely we have bad list this motel, never be there again!

Good place to stay if you could bear the cold Canberra weather
We booked a 3-room villa for a night's stay. Our trip started with a pleasant welcome from the staff at the reception. We had two children and 5 adults in our group. After parking our luggage, we headed straight out to see a few attractions and came back pretty late that night. That's when we noticed that there weren't any heaters provided in two out of the three rooms. There was a small portable heater in one room, however it was not generating enough heat as it should have. The temperature outside was freezing cold (-4 degrees). It was already too late to request for any alternate arrangement. We left the following day disappointed without complaining. Such a beautiful place with great view of the parkland. Only if they would have proper heating facility for a cold night's stay.

Ok - we didn't have any tea bags and when I went to get some it was quite a difficult task - ended up buying my own. Also placed next to cleaners room which was noisy when there were other rooms available

Weekend in Canberra
We had family over from England so we hired the three bedroom property as we had seven people staying. The accommodation was very spacious and everyone thought it was beautifully presented. We would highly recommend Alviro Tourist Park. We wished we could have stayed longer. My family from England loved all the native birds.

Feel that the cabin i stayed in could be freshened up with new vinyl floors ,curtains, shower curtains etc, The shower head needs replacing , otherwise clean and tidy , Comfy bed ,which is always good , most beds are uncomfortable.
