Highs and lows ”
Our stay was great until you went for a shower... the temperature was not consistent for the hot water. we had to turn the knob all sorts of directions to get it hot. The walls of our room were thin so thin we could here the conversation next door to us! It almost seemed like they were in our room at one point! Other than that the view was awesome! Pillows are a little stiff for our liking but nice spacious area and clean. The restaurant for breakfast was pretty. The Buffett has your very Basic foods, eggs, sausage. Bacon and oatmeal. Nothing that stood out other then the view of the water. Service lacked there in the restaurant, we Never got a refill or anything but what did You expect there was young men working there and they’re too busy talking about sports to even notice their were people needing refills etc.. I have mixed emotions about this place but I would def give it another try if the price is right.
Great Views if you like Girders”
The location of the Allegria is great. The common areas are great. My view was interior, so I was looking at girders and another room across the shaft way . And it seems there are worse views so I am "lucky"? I guess that's what you get when you don't specify a room with a view. The service/staff was disappointing. Like at a hospital you have to advocate for services. However, they did waive the resort fee for me because there were no amenities except for the pool (which is nice with a GREAT view) but because of COVID you could only sign up for a 90 minute slot/per day. When I asked for a late checkout I was told 15 minutes would be the absolute most they could offer. Warning not to open windows because of bugs. If the view and service are not important to you then no reason not to enjoy, otherwise pay for a ocean or city view room.
Incredible views and location ”
Great getaway with incredible views and beachfront location. Our room was large and airy with light flooding in - my son loved it. The staff was friendly and accommodating. There are numerous restaurants a 5minute walk from the hotel, we decided to try those out. Overall very pleased with our decision to stay here. We will be back!
First time being in this hotel was really nice, especially at the lounge can sit down have a few drinks, the staff are friendly and nice, I will be going back.
We are thrilled to hear about the nice time you had while staying with us! Please feel free to contact us directly when booking your next trip so that we can be sure create a satisfying stay again.
horrible food, terrible, my steak was cold & burnt.... they need a new chef
Definitely not worth the money. Very unkempt. Room was not clean, staff(other than front desk) was not very professional- especially at bar, we were beyond disappointe d- poorly run, not much to offer all around, restaurant is overrated and over priced. Would not stay there again- especially for the prices they charge.
Service was absolutely terrible!”
I was on hold right after checking in later in evening for 20 mins with front desk. They never answered. I had to call on my cell direct to hotel to get my answer. Same with all departments.
Much needed break from stay in place”
Great location and nice room with ocean view
Horrible stay! ”
It was an awful stay and a disappointment! I have a list of complaints from the moment I walk into the hotel. This was suppose to be a birthday getaway for my son and our family which turned into a horrible experience! The hotel is in a great location, but the standards of the hotel is poor. 1. Check in is suppose to be at 4pm my family and other party of three that was with us had to go check 3 different times regarding when our rooms would be ready. The response we got was soon housekeeping is working on it. We probably checked in about an hour later. 2. The following day the elevator was down all day. We were directed to take staff elevator. As we approached the elevator a group of staff members rode the elevator with us two out of five staff members were not even wearing face mask 😷 which is unacceptable due to covid being prevalent. 3. Finally after a long wait for check in we arrive to a dirty room, and the air conditioning not working properly. 4. The second night of bein
Not impressed for what you pay.”
Very nice location. Staff are quite friendly. However, it’s a noisy hotel - all you hear are doors slamming and the people above stomping through their room all night. Breakfast was disappointing. In all honesty not worth the money.
Felt 5 star”
Location location. ..!!
Hurricane Isaias won the battle”
Management was afraid to use the back up generators during a pandemic/post Hurricane Isaias.. #unprepared for the worst
Do not stay here ”
The facilities were not available. There are not enough chair and towels for guests. We asked 4 times for housekeeping services and still they never came. The toilet went out by the third day. Lastly, make sure you give yourself 30 mins to check out if you are trying to catch the train. There is limited people taking care of people and their needs. Do not come here and expect 4 stars services as they claim to have.
Beware!!! I have been charged twice by both Agoda and the Hotel”
I had booked this hotel because it was close to JFK, paid by card via Agoda. On arrival I was told they needed my card to confirm the booking only to get charged by the hotel. A complete rip off!!! Beware!!!
Location is beautiful. Service was terrible. Clearly they were very understaffed and the staff was overworked.
Significant noise and smoke issue”
The building doesn't block noise from adjacent rooms so that I couldn't sleep all night long. There is also a whiff of smoke in the room.
No beach pass”
We came because it was right on the beach "withct dirt ebeach access". As soon I arrived, I was told, there are no beach life guards and hence bo skating in the town EIKD THERE ARE BO BRACH PASSES,
Die Zimmer sind abgerockt.
