Lovely Clean Hotel with Great Location”
Hotel is clean, run by friendly hotel owner. Location is great, less than 10 mins walking to Pub street. I love the resort style of hotel, which makes you feel relax and the friendly owner and staff makes you feels like you are at home. 24 hour convenient store just next door so you can get everything you need there.
Short review - If you come to Siem Reap, stay here. Long review - I doubt there is a better hotel in Siem Reap! I was welcomed with a refrigerated towel which in that heat, i could have hugged Mark. The staff were all very polite and smiley, and spoke enough english to sort everything you need which helped with my lack of Cambodian. Fantastic value for money, the rooms are brilliant, big space, comfortable beds, very clean and tidy, lots of helpful extras like toothbrush and toothpaste on top of the usual shampoo/shower gel etc. My room had a/c which was a godsend as it was extra hot during my visit, very nice shower too. Bar and restaurant on site and a great little saltwater pool to cool off in the midday heat, Mark was proud of how clean he kept it, I wouldn't worry about any ear infections! Breakfast options were very tasty too, and theyll leave a pack up for you if you're heading out at silly o clock in the morning for the sunrise at Angkor Wat. The whole place is like an oasis i
Our favorite place in Siem Reap”
We came in March and stayed to late May. We've stayed all over town, but this was definitely our favorite. The grounds are small but lush and beautiful. The pool is the same you will find at 90%, small but great for beating the heat. It is well kept and warmer than most of the other pools we're used to. The restaurant is a step up from most of the local places. The Western food is not bad, but the Khmer food is spectacular. The breakfast soup was really tasty and healthy. My gf is Khmer and she gave a thumbs up to the curry and the morning soup. The rooms are large, well-appointed and comfortable. The bathing area is very nice and open. A gin bar was opening when we left, and the bar area is nice to lounge in. We highly recommend this place. 5 min walk to old market, 7 to Pub. , 10 minutes to the cinema. It's in the quieter part of town with some interesting dining spots and a 24hr market two mins away. We stayed there for a long time and would do so again. Like the owner and staff.
I've been coming to Siem Reap every month for the past 3 years and only just now discovered the Alliance Boutique Hotel, - and what a fantastic find it is. Check in was fast and efficient and the reception staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Rooms are big and spacious and well set out, with lots of power points and desk space for working on a computer and charging. Internet was good and fairly fast also. Although only a 5 minute walk across the river into the heart of Siem Reap and the Pub Street area, I tried room service on two occasions and the food and beverage was excellent. Very tasty, fresh, well presented and reasonably priced. A large balcony outside the room was a great place to read a book and relax and was extremely quiet and private, so getting some quiet time and good sleep was not an issue. I'll definitely be staying here again, but you'll need to book in advance as its a smaller boutique hotel and the rooms get booked out quickly. Great place to stay.
Hi Timothy, thanks for the great review, it was a pleasure meeting you. See you in a few weeks. Kindest regards, Ben.
Cozy Room and Fantastic Setting (2nd Stay)”
Stayed here with friends last July 2011 and returned this August 2017 with a friend. The location, which is a 5-minute walk from Pub Street, is just one reason. I fell in love with the coziness of the place despite its location (literally a stone's throw away from HardRock Café Siem Reap). The room was big and the hotel has its own pool. Considering that the whole hotel only have less than 10 rooms, you can basically have the pool all to yourself most of the time.
Thank you for your kind words, Mark. I really appreciate them. Safe travels as always. Kindest regards, Ben.
Nice little hotel in town center”
I like the location of the hotel which is slightly away from the busy streets but still within walking distance of Old Market & Pub St. The room is very spacious and the staff helpful. The only downside is that the toilet water wouldn't stop running after flushing and the water drainage after shower is poor. However both are already fixed when I came back after my daytime excursion. Overall I enjoyed my 3 nights stay there
a great place to stay”
the place is small and well located. the staff is friendly and helpful. the rooms are big enough and with a nice balcony and good equipped. the breakfast was always good and the restaurant is a good choice, if you do not wanna go out for dinner.
Great atmosphere, very friendly personnel & owners”
After an intense day at the temples or water vilages, the hotel was a nice place to recharge, enjoying the pool area and restaurant. The multinational owners with clearly upscale hotel and food&beverage experience made us feel welcome and had good tips on how to get arround. We stayed in a family room which was big enough for the four of us.
best boutique hotel in Siem reap, very cosy”
amazing boutique hotel niche in a quiet area of siem reap, 6min walk from the old market. a 2 month old, 5 rooms only, delightful accomodation, with lovely people. worth the extra cash as it provides peace, confort and a strong connection to the best of cambodia (people, great food, lovely mekong kilt, decoration, apasana diner and dance...)... romantic and relaxing... will come back very soon to siem reap and will def stay there again.... amazing pool... salted water giving u great lift
Without doubt a beautiful boutique villa!”
The Alliance Boutique is a beautifully quaint and tranquil boutique villa with outdoor pool and small bar and restaurant cafe. We stayed for 4 days and were welcomed and looked after throughout. All staff including the Owner were warm and helpful. The small pool is a welcome bonus. The villa is close enough to easily walk (5minutes) to thriving markets and Pub Street, yet not too close! Would thoroughly recommend to others and definitely will be back!
Best Siem Reap Hotel”
What a fantastic little hotel and the location is just perfect. We had our two little kids with us they just loved the pool and the room. Just a short walk from the markets and and pub street with a nice little grocery store a few doors down. The owner of the hotel is very accommodating and helpful with all of your plans.
Great location, simple but good breakfast, good clean room”
The location of the villa is great. It is within walking distance of restaurants and bars but away from the noise and crowd. The breakfast was simple but good. The room was spacious enough for two and clean.
good location ”
it's in the center of city best spot for finding food, walk to night market and pub street in 5mins walk. lovely homemade breakfast. nice staff. but AC is not cool, wait around 8hrs for cool and it's cool in the morning. compare to the price, it's not clean enough for us.
Thank you for your honest review. we have looked into the problems you have pointed out.Welcome anytime.
Very good place with a wide variety of services (tour guide with tuk-tuk or car, airport shuttle, others tours near Siem Reap), so you won't boring. Just bring your clothes and you will find everything in one place. Recommend Paul, as a tuk-tuk driver.
Thank you for your kind review George. Welcome anytime.
Good budget boutique hotel ”
Spent 5 days at Alliance with my spouse. The rooms were spacious and elegant. The bar and restaurant were simple yet offered a good variety of western and cambodian food and drinks. The owner and the managers were friendly and very helpful during our stay and helped us in following our rather tight itinerary to the last day in the most economic way. Cant wait to go there again on the next vacation.
Thank you Srihari I am glad you enjoyed your vacation with us and look forward to having you back. Welcome anytime.
Great location 3 min to center”
Small hotel with nice people and good food. We liked very much the low price off drinks and room service. The balcony hamock was very enjoyable as well. The street around is note quiet but ok when inside hotel. The western management is doing a great job to keep this place affordable and non tourist business only.
Hi Philippe, thank you for your kind review. It was great to meet you both. We hope to see you again in the future. Kindest regards, Ben.
Fantastic value for the cost. The room was spacious and clean. The pool, while small, hits the spot after a day at the temples. Located around a ten minute walk from pub street, its close enough to the action without the loud music.
Thank you for your kind words, Roger, much appreciated. Kindest regards, Ben.
Under new manager”
Pros Great location 5 min walk to pub st away from all the noise. Rooms are clean spacious and tidy, nice small swimming pool to relax after a day touring. Cons Breakfast has two choices western or Asian set menu needs improvement I'm told my manager this will change, pool lounges are timber with no cushion a bit uncomfortable when lying on for a while and they are on road side of hotel so noisy and car fumes can be smelt. Mix up with airport pick didn't happen had to make my own way to hotel manager apologized we had a couple of beers on the house and I got reimbursement for my taxi. I would stay again if breakfast improved and cushion on pool lounges.
Thanks for your kind words Jeff, we appreciate the constructive criticism and have addressed these issues, we now offer a full English breakfast on the menu and are having pool lounger cushions made. Kindest, Ben.
Great staff, good sized room”
Breakfast and dinner tasty, fresh. Good location- close but not too close to the frenzy of old town. Staff helped with ALL things tourist. ONLY drawback is sometime spotty cold tap water. Always came back to normal within minutes.
Comfortable and beautiful people”
I stayed at Alliance Boutique for 10 nights dyring my volunteering trip to Siem Reap. Accommodation is very clean, comfortable and well located. People working at the hotel are super helpful and caring. What they lack in their english skills they make up for in friendliness. You almost feel like you are staying with a family. Restaurant serves excellent quality meals which are very reasonably priced. On Friday there is a free shadow puppets and traditional dance show. Breakfast, which was included in the accommodation cost, was tasty and quite big. If you stay there and require transportation, ask the hotel to call Mr. Ohda, the tuk tuk driver. I used his services every day and was really happy with the service and price. I have to note some negative points however. The photos and descriptions on Agoda website look much better than the hotel is in reality. Balcony suits are just rooms and balconies look into the windows of the house next door and so wooden shutters are always closed. Linens and towels are quite old and threadbare, although very clean. My expectations were built up much higher and I was dissappointed when I first arrived. But I quickly got over it as teh place is clean, comfortable and friendly. Overall, I woudl reccommend staying at Alliance Boutique if you are looking for a basic comfortable and friendly accommodation
