Great staff , very clean rooms , good wi fi
I came as a solo backpacker with the intention of only staying one night but loved the environment so much i stood 6. Ken is a great dude and was so helpful with giving information about bohol, and lyn is a sweet and beautiful receptionist / bartender . If your on the fence about this place dont be its amazing just book it . I plan on visiting the Philippines again in the future and when i come back this is where im staying . 10 out of 10 .

Overall experience exceeded my expectations.
The location though not located at the beach front, is near restaurants, grocery stores, ATMs, and public tranportation. I didn't have a difficult time going to places I intended to go. The room for me is very cozy and homy that's why I almost stayed there the entire duration of my trip. The staff is very warm and accommodating especially Lyn and the owners. They made sure that my needs were well-attended. I guess one minor thing to improve on is the water supply in the shower area. Water was a bit weak that made bathing a bit challenging. I would definitely go back to Alona Pawikan and recommend this place to my friends.

Great room and interiors but its far from the main beach
Great room and interiors but its far from the main beach. From the map, I thought they were near the road with access to the beach but turns out, a big resort blocked the beach access so to get to the main beach, its a good 10 minute walk, or you'd have to ride a habal-habal (motorcycle hitching) to get to the main beach. I did have the one of the best neapolitan style pizzas I have ever tasted which was offered to us via delivery at the hotel.

Treasure in the middle of the woods
As far as I'm concerned, the place offers more than what we paid for. The room was clean, the ac, cable and bathroom were all functioning perfectly. The overall design was also unique but kept a lowkey island vibe. The person in charge during our stay was Manilyn, and she's super accommodating! The only downside of this place is that it's AWAY from the main road. You would have to walk about a kilometer to get to the main road. The hostel is located along Heartland Road (behind Henann) which is poorly lit at night. We rented a motorbike so we had little problem so make sure you do that as well when you stay here for mobility. If you don't, Alona Beach is a good 15-20minute walk from the hostel.

Friendly owners with optimization potential for service and their staff. When we arrived we were told that we cannot stay due to Incorrect booking information so we had to find an other accommodation, and the staff was not very helpful with t

Funky little place close to the beach.
Modern decor, very clean room, friendly and knowledgable owners and an amazing selection of beers at their bar. Really laid back vibe with pool table and a restaurant.

Great rooms nice staff and perfect location
The place is amazing. The cotages are new and well equiped with all you need for staying in your vacation. The owner is swedish guy who is nice and can introduce you to oher internationals doing some business like diving center, restaurants renting a scooter. We stayed there 4 nihhts and get cleen room with fredh towels every day. The owner and stuff knows how to do business and treat European guests who are most demanding. We highly recommend this place which is near Alona or Dualone beach! In this place is also small bar with all kind of drinks from all ower the world you can get..,and pool table where you can enjoy the night before sleep.

Friendly staff, nice room, and good Japanese food for dinner
A 10 min walk from the main strip, this little place was a great stop near the end of the trip. Good shower, cable TV, clean room, pool table, and helpful staff.

The location is about 10 min. walk from Alona beach, rooms are modern furnished, clean with quiet AC and strong wifi signal. The owners are really nice people, very accommodating and helpful, we always got a good advice about our planned trips, local restaurants/shops etc.. They have a nice lounge area and bar with wide selection of beer :) Very pleasant stay.

Just great!
Alona Pawikan was the best choice for a stay around Alona. Familiar, nice, clean, great pool table, best beer ever during our whole trip on the Philippines (they have craft beer) and Maricel is the best host ever. If your are looking for a calm stay off the beaten track of Alona beach stay with Maricel. You will definitively not regret. And if they manage to get permit from the near-by hotel that their guests are allowed to pass through the property ist just a 5 minutes walk to the beach.
