Just the right kind of hotel”
I've stayed in 5-star hotels (Hennan) and 2 star places (Lost Horizon) and I can honestly say this one is just right - not too fancy but "luxurious" enough to enjoy staying and hanging out during the day. Decent size room, clean functional bathroom, easy access to the pool, the restaurant and a few steps away from the beach, literally (i.e. you get up in the morning and walk for 20 seconds and your feet are on beach sand). Service is excellent as is typical with many Filipino hotels, food is good and reasonably priced. Band music at night if you want to just zone out after a day's worth of touring. Our unit came with a little patio up front where you could just drink coffee and relax with a view of the pool. For the price, this place is highly recommended. Wifi isn't as strong but that's typical in all these small hotels, maybe just because of the sheer amount of people trying to save on their data plans. I wish I had stayed here instead of the first hotel we stayed at.

The family room was two connected room with double bed each, which means we had 2 bathrooms, so we could save our time while we're using it. I have stayed 3 hotels so far in near Alona beach, and this hotel was the best for the water pressure in shower. The problem, however, the Wifi was very unstabled only in one room. In addition, It is not easy to walk to the resort with a heavy carrier because of the sand. (Perhaps, you can ask the desk, I remember they have a service to bring customer's luggage to the entrance of the Alona beach, not sure if it is free.)

So so love our stay in Alona Vida! 1. Perfect location - beach front 2. Nice facilities - we love the pool! 3. Great room - super spacious and we love the balcony 4. Looove the cr! This is a perfect place to stay. It is at the beach, in evening great atmosphere, rooms are good and clean, staff is friendly and Nice aswell. There is only one hotel which offers more, but that hotel is 5 star and unpayable!!

Nice quiet place, great wifi, clean rooms and bathrooms. Hotel restaurant had a nice bar with good live music band all nights. We really enjoyed our stay there. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Nicely located near the Alona Beach Strip”
Great stay. Rooms are bigger than usually. Friendly staff and accommodating. The only draw back was the length of time food order gets prepared. You can be waiting as long as an hour for your food. Then again you're in an island, what's the rush right? Listen to the live band and have a few drinks.

Perfect location and superb customer service”
We wanted a hotel just in front of Alona beach. Alona Vida was just perfect! They have a restaurant, too. Food was okay. Not sure if there is a live band that plays there every night but there was one during the nights we were there. The family room we got was perfect as well- 2 big adjoining rooms. The rooms are farther inside so we were able to rest. And the customer service we got was beyond expectations. The staff accommodated our request for an early check-in and arranged a seaport pick-up for us. They also arranged our island hopping and land tours. When we requested for our free breakfast to be packed as we were leaving the hotel very early for the island hopping, they did as we requested. Just perfect! We will definitely go back there again! Worth every penny”
We stayed at Alona Vida Beach Resort for 3D2N, The room is spacious and clean, I actually didn’t expect that because it’s actually small in pictures. Location is conveniently in front if the beach and there are a lot of restaurants to choose from. My favorite is the free breakfast, in which, servings are very generous. Some of the staffs are nice and friendly while some are unapproachable, but that’s okay. We’ll definitely book this resort again if we will visit Bohol soon.

Great location on beach”
The hotel is on the beach but there is no tricycle service there. You are dropped off at the end of a beach walk & then follow a beach path to the hotel, less than a 5 minute walk sometimes skidding a bag in the sand. We checked in early which was nice & there are lounge chairs on the beach for guests, very nice. It is located near other hotels & restos. Breakfast was included & ordered off the breakfast menu which was nice. We ate other meals there, all good. Our room, very clean, had a balcony on an inner courtyard which was quiet. The staff were friendly & helpful & would stay again if in the area.

Hats to all staff, from front desk to housekeeping. They were all friendly and warm. I will never forget my stay here because it was hassle free. They never gave me a difficulty from check in to checking out. Beach front, great entertainment at night at Coco Vida resto, awesome food! I love this place!
