    “a pleasant experience ”

i have never stayed in a hostel before this one, so i cannot compare it to other similar establishments. however, what i can say is: - the staff is friendly and helpful. also they speak many languages (i noticed english, french, spanish) - considering how many people are coming and going, the place (rooms, showers, bathrooms) are clean - they have little amenities like free coffee throughout the day, and locker storage for your stuff, a main lobby with fridges. Just make sure to label your food because the staff did throw away my food. (they have rules about labelling which i didn’t follow so it was on me.) - they do change your sheets every so often (maybe 2 or 3 days) - the location is really nice (old Montreal), so if you want to explore the area really cheap then this is the place. However on weekends there is really loud music (ie thumping bass) so just bring earplugs or noise cancelling headphones -bed is comfy enough, they have blankets if you want to take one and use it too. the rooms stay pretty much cool at night as they have AC otherwise, it is a hostel: people come and go from the room, turning on the light, and not always being courteous, but that’s part of the experience and not to do with this establishment. I believe they suggest an 11pm cutoff time which other guests mostly followed. great value for a cheap stay.

    “Safe and Well maintained ”

I am from Ottawa and it was my first time in Montreal. I was travelling alone and first of all I was bit concerned about the stay but when I arrived at the location it was very welcoming and friendly. Everything was very cleaned and well maintained. The ambiance, accessibility to the location and washrooms everything was perfect. Definitely I will recommend it especially to solo travellers and women

It’s good value to stay here. Well organized, bathrooms are clean. The location is good, it’s in old town, very close to many attractions.

    “Nice Place!”

Very chill, friendly, helpful staff, great location! Just a couple things I think they would improve on - first, they should make towels available freely - not have to rent them...In the dorm beds, they should provide a little space to put your things like glasses and alarm clocks, it's too risky to have your glasses on your bed! Other than that - all good!

“Convenient Location but Lacks Comfort and Convenience”

The location is convenient as it’s close to key places, offering good value for money. However, there’s a $2 CAD charge for a towel, which is uncommon at other places, and the towel provided was extremely old, resembling a doormat. Be prepared for stairs, which are not ideal if you have luggage. If you’re assigned to their other building, it’s even more inconvenient—you’ll need to walk a few steps to access the front desk and kitchen, which can be particularly frustrating during winter.
