If you want to stay where you can see the view of taal and a quiet and peaceful stay choose this place. Eveything is the best, the service, room, food and the view. Its not that far from tagaytay proper. This is one of my best hotel.

The hotel is located along crosswinds. Really nice. Love the barrio fiesta breakfast too. My little boy loved staying there. The rooms are really spacious and clean. I love that it has complete hotel stuff because we forgot our toothbrush and soap. Really nice staff too, from check in to check out. Their facebook page is very responsive too. Thank you. Definitely recommended and will definitely go back!

We had the lake view room and it was breathtaking. Its like you dont want to go out to your room anymore. The room is clean and VERY SPACIOUS. I will surely come back!

Our stay in Alta is highly recommended for couples too. The room is spacious and what we like most about is the bed and the pillows that makes our sleep better. The free breakfast is not buffet style maybe because of the pandemic. I hope they make it as buffet style soon. I would love to choose Alta again for our next stay and choose the lake view.

Sir Manny is very responsive to our needs during the time of our stay as well to other staff of Alta D' Tagaytay. The place is clean and very relaxing. Okay yung place and ang ganda ng Taal Lake view from the room. The only downside in our stay was the aircon is broken but did not affect much of our stay naman since yung weather is very cold. But hopefully the management can take a look at it. Will definitely come back here in the future

Quiet place to stay”
The location is a bit off from the main city centre but the immediate vicinity has pretty good choices for food. Other than that, we would stay here again as it was a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Relaxing staycation”
My toddler and I stayed here for 2 nights. When we arrived at the hotel, the guard informed us that there was an ongoing event and that I had to park all the way down the road as the parking spaces near the hotel are fully occupied. I asked the lady guard (I forgot to ask her name but she was exceptionally helpful) if I can atleast drop our things before I park and when she saw that I have a toddler inside the car, she asked one of the staff (which turned out to be our bellboy too) to park the car for us. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. Our room was big and spacious, with a nice of view of Taal Lake. The only thing I would like to point out was that the windows were dusty, even the glass shelves above the minibar were dusty, too. The water pressure and temperature in the bathroom worked well. Breakfast was plated, choice of American or Filipino. Just a bit disappointed with the french toast as it only came with a side of jam but the others that we’ve tried were good (longganisa, beef tapa, pork tocino, bacon). Nearest resto is Coffee Project which is a good 5-10min drive from the hotel. Food is not a problem tho as they have an in-house restaurant and food services like FoodPanda and GrabFood can reach their area as well. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again. ❤️

Off the beaten path”
The hotel had an old-world feel with all the wood and windows. The rooms were clean and had all the basic amenities, including a small refrigerator. The hotel is around 7km from Tagaytay proper so if you want to be closer to the center, this might not be the place for you.

Great service and quiet location”
Hotel is in the quiet part of Tagaytay.. a little far from the restaurants so it is best to bring food or eat in the hotel’s restaurant. Cleanliness could be improved.. I saw a lot of dust in the remote control. Also, the shower could be improved as well. Inconsistent hot shower and the water pressure is weak. Overall, loved the “old” feel of the hotel and great customer service from the servers and hotel staff. Go here if you want a quiet staycation
