Amansari Villa- Sanur ”
The amansari villa is in a great location. It’s close to the beach, shops and pretty much everything else in Sanur. It’s such a great price for a really nice villa. It’s nice and quiet and pretty private too. The pool is lovely and does the job well. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting this area

Holiday almost ruined.”
We have stayed here many times before and love it and the staff are lovely. However althoughh we booked well in advance when we arrived they didn't have the booking, after some emails, finding it almost impossible to contact Agoda and negotiation with a manager over a staff members phone, we were sorted. Not sure who was at fault there. Lesson learnt I will always double check with my Hotel direct. After that it was great.

Perfect location, great value”
This is the second time that I have stayed at Amansari Villa. There are a number of different properties under the same management, including the Sari Villa, right next door and sometimes confused w/ the Amansari Villa. I looked at the Sari Villa, which is somewhat more expensive and newer, but always choose Amansari. There are a small number of rooms (six? eight?) with their own swimming pool (always immaculately clean), and there is another small swimming pool at the main registration/breakfast location. It is true, as some note in their reviews, that the bathrooms are a bit dated and in need of a refurbishing, but the rooms are huge, including (in the second floor rooms) an entire loft area with a bed. The balcony overlooks the pool, yet is secluded with the lovely fronds and foliage. There is a kitchen with full-size refrigerator, two burner stove, utensils, and a hot/cold water cooler that is perfect for the complementary tea/coffee that is filled every day. The breakfasts, like many in this range of accommodation, do get a bit tired after a bit--three choices, which they would like you to confirm the day before as the small kitchen staff bustles behind the desk to get it ready for you. All come with fresh fruit, and the typical western choice of eggs, bacon, and toast is just fine. The location is perfect, 5 minutes to the beach and 5 minutes to a stretch of the main restaurant/shopping areas in Sanur, 10 minutes to the "has everything" Hardee's department store. I stayed about 8 days the previous visit, and this time was just about 10 days. I thought about moving several times just to see some other hotels, but in the end. . . why?

Hotel providing Convenience and Good Hospitality”
This is the first time to stay at Amansari Villa although I was heard by my friend that this hotel is good. In fact, I was very satisfied with staying at this villa. All staffs are very friendly and room is very cleaned and will furnished. Swimming pool is small but well cleaned. Around villa, there are plenty of restaurants where you can have varieties of foods and also many massage places where you can definitely release your stress. This is one of the best choices to stay in Sanur if you want to prefer quiet and nice place.

“Charming Villa in Quiet Sanur””
if you want to stay away from the touristy areas of bali and on a budget amansari villa would be a great choice. it only has 6 villas but they are spacious and clean. the villa is a 2 story villa and the ones on the 2nd floor have lofts w/a bed which is great for a small family. check in was a bit difficult as the staff speak very little english but very friendly and accommodating to all requests. there is no office so you just check in as you walk into the villa. we checked into room #6 (which i highly recommend) but since it only had 1 queen bed we asked to move to a room with 2 twins (#3) which they willingly obliged, however after 2 days we asked to move back to room #6 due to the smell and run down look. they were so nice and able to move us back to the room which also has a nice balcony. free wifi, a great selection of english channels, air conditioned, small kitchenette w/fridge, cooking burners, and your own water tank for drinking was nice. nice size bathroom. the pool is really small but very tranquil and inviting. breakfast was basic and made to order (eggs, bacon, chicken sausage, toast, coffe/tea) but decent. the beach is only a 5-7 min walk and has a nicely shaded walking path along the beach. sanur itself is quiet but charming in it's own, as all of bali. the villa is very close to many restaurants, shops, atm, money exchange, and grocery stores. almost all the restaurants have wifi which is great for staying in touch. we also booked 2 tours during our stay which is i highly recommend and a balinese massage which is a must (1 hr= $10 usd)! for about $20 a person, you can book an 8 hour tour and see the many cultural sites of this beautiful place. i will surely visit again and stay at amansari villa.

Lovely villas, some better than others”
Amansari villas are in a fantastic location in sanur, a quick walk to the beach thru santrian, Rooms pictured on Agoda are even better in person with everything you need in a home away from home. Air-con, fridge, gas stove, heaps of seating and a lovely balcony. Shower floods the bathroom each time as no shower screen or drain in bathroom floor. The 3 rooms at the front with the 'shared kitchen' are to be avoided, have bed and bath only, no chairs, no lamps, no fridge and no privacy. Would stay here again in a hearbeat if i could get Room 5 again!

Great value for money”
We were in Bali for a period of 4 weeks. We booked Amansari Villas for 2 nights. We were thoroughly impressed with the value for money we got from Amansari that we decided to return here after our stay at Nusa Lembongan. Although only a small office, the staff gratiously looked after our extra bags for a few days until our return. Although only planning to stay another night, this grew into five nights extra. The location, size of rooms, staff and value for money won us over.

Great Location”
My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Amansari Villa. The new wing which has 16 rooms was excellent. We had a ground floor room which was very quiet and away from the street noises. The location is ideal as it is close to the beach and lots of great restaurants. If we could pick any fault it would be a lack of hand towels in the bathroom. However we bought 2 from Carrefourr for about $2 each. Problem solved. Would we recommend this hotel to friends? Most definitely. Would we stay here again? We have already booked for this Christmas

Great value apartments.”
My stay at Amansari Villa was excellent, the rooms are huge (apparently due to be refurbished soon). The decor is really nice, it has a fantastic pool, small but really nice, set in lovely small gardens. The breakfast is included, and it is really yummy...the banana pancakes are great. Staff are really friendly and very helpful, their English isn`t great, but hey, why should it be we are in Bali after all!!! Also it is close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Highly recommended for the on a budget traveller.

Relaxing”
we stayed there for a night only. however, we found that the staff is very helpful. once we stepped out of the villa, there so many international restaurants by the street. we had gellato in Massimo Italian Restaurant which is just near by is very nice. i could say this place is very nice for chilling and enjoying the sun by the pool. if you are looking a place from your activity. this is the place. where you could hear nothing but the bird singing. overall, no regret for choosing Amansari villa for our stay. i gotta visit this place again soon for quite a long time.

Very good value. Staff very friendly and very warm and welcoming!”
I was in the Sari Villas, which are connected with Amansari but separate building. I have stayed in the Amansari twice before, years ago, and my only complaint there would be the internet service but it is my understand that all that is better now. But then internet in Bali can be troublesome no matter where you stay. I really like this place and the staff!!

I had my concerns after reading other reviews.....”
The rooms at the Amansari are big & comfortable however there are certainly some downsides to the place. 1)the upstairs rooms which have the big beds: be prepared that the aircon does not have enough power to keep the room cool in the daytime, you need to use the ceiling fan also. 2) The high & open roof in the upstairs rooms adds to the feeling of spaciousness but you will be laying in bed at night listening to loud music from the bars & restaurants nearby. Another guest who was staying downstairs informed me that it was not noisy in her room. 3)We did need to change rooms after we had no hot water for 3 days! The location is very good with a short walk to the main road and also to the beach, I do wonder if the beach access will disappear as they are developing on the land that you walk through. The pool area is nice, although it is a small pool it is very deep at one end and refreshingly cold. The banana lounges need maintenance but are otherwise safe to use. The small dining area for breakfast is great & the Wifi access in all areas is fantastic, it's the best I've experienced for hotels in Bali! I would certainly consider staying here again but we might opt for a downstairs room and just have the twin beds pushed together. I got the room at a discount and it was worth it, but I doubt I'd pay the full amount. The staff are very limited in English but try to be helpful where possible. I was stunned to learn that if I wanted to order nasi goreng for breakfast I needed to order it the day before! I thought I was in Bali?! Other guests were also unhappy about this. It was worth ordering it however as the guys do a good job of cooking. Another disappointment was that when I was leaving I had to cart all our luggage down by myself, my fiance then needed to ask the staff to help me take the luggage to the taxi, they had their tip & seemed disinterested but did assist. Overall our stay was reasonable & the location was certainly worthwhile, beach proximity was the best

Apartement in Sanur :)”
i try not to rave around little gems...but this time i will actually do it :) i am travelling by myself, loving every moment of it, but usually i end up with really small hotelrooms, even if i pay the same price as everyone else. this time it was different ! :)i actually had my own flat in sanur ! :) kitchen, refrigerator, watertank in my room, nice bathroom, 4 beds... you mention it :) i see some guy mention that it was a bit difficult to find. yes it is, but it's not a problem. it's just that the villa is within another hotels area, and it's only 30 meters to the wicked parrot and the "main" road of sanur ( the small mainroad, not the big noisy one ) and the best part was the breakfast. i'm not a fan of buffet style breakfast, as i think most of the food is out in the warmth for too long. here they made everything fresh :) i will definately go back if i have the chance.

Great Location in the middle of Sanur”
the rooms are suitable for long stay, are large, and have a kitchenette with full size 2-door-fridge, gas cooker, some utensils, plates and mugs. i enjoyed my stay at amansari villa. it's just a hop-skip-jump to the beach (short cut through vila shanti). maybe 5 minutes from hardys supermarket/department store. the staff are very friendly, some only speak very limited english, but even that is not really a problem.

Stayed at Sari Villa next door, sam business”
We actually stayed at their sister Sari Villa next door, which is newer but the rooms are smaller and pool is smaller too, though not by much. Personally I prefer the Sari Villa, Amansari guests come over for breakfast, not far at all. I love the location of this hotel, quiet, tucked away on the side of the grand entrance to Griya Santrian. Excellent access to beach one way and shops, bars and "transport" the other way. The staff are always friendly, which is an improvement on a few years ago and are always willing to help. The breakfast has also improved somewhat on a couple of years ago, fruit salads with yoghurt a great addition to the choices. Me personally, this is one of my favourites because it is simple, well located and they have internet and channel tv, and good ac when required.

Beautiful Central and value for money”
We were actually booked in to stay at Amansari Villas however upon check-in we were placed in Sari Villas the sister company right next door, and can I say we weren't disappointed. The Sari Villas had lovely gardens super friendly and helpful staff and was central to everything will definitely be booking there again.

Not Happy”
We arrived late [ with notice] and were given a room not in Amansari Villa, but in Sari Villa top floor with lot of stairs.!!!! We requested Amansari down stairs room, in our request at booking. . When asked if we were likely to be changed maybe next day we were told they were fully booked for the time of our stay. We then decided to change accommodation arrangements. Are still being charged for the night at Armansari even thought we didn't stay there. We have stayed at this resort many time in the past will never stay there again.
