2nd stay at Amara and we really enjoyed both visits. The room was clean and very comfortable. The gardens and pool area are very well landscaped which makes for a very relaxing environment and stay. The food and drinks at the restaurant were tasty and reasonably priced. We stayed with our dog and it was a very good experience for all of us,

Pros: Good location easy to try local food and hangout. Suitable for short time. Lovely price Cons: The bath is not completely closed. A lot of mosquitoes and noises air condition (all the night in room number 3)

enjoyed a night here while roadtripping and would happily come back for a longer stay. loads of lovely plants made such a nice atmosphere. tastefully decorated. the superior king room (with bathtub) opens up to a terrace and green space, great for our dog to run around and enjoy. the room was nice, and really enjoyed the big bathtub, but some things like the couch and curtains could have been cleaner. breakfast was actually really nice! they give you 1 of 6 options, i went for the thai rice porridge and my boyfriend had the vietnamese style pad fried eggs with sausage. free drip coffee with breakfast, but we sprung for an espresso and a latte. we’re snobby about coffee and it was more than passable. location was good, not right on the beach obviously, but close to lots of amenities.

Nice boutique hotel for budget conscious people, offering nice green oasis away from main road. Its a nice retreat in nature, offering spacious compound. Simple rooms, yet offering all amenities and cleanliness. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful sight n greenery surrounds your hotel stay. Love the relaxing atmosphere, simple yet comfortable. No frills very basic set breakfast provided. Adequate for the room rate paid. Decent cosy bars, not too much night life. Less than 500m walking distance to Market Village (mall) to get groceries, pharmacy, local n international food, etc. Cheap n easy accessibility to get anywhere by public trans. Friendly, helpful housekeeping staff. Low tolerance for noise though. Highly recommended for families who prefer serenity. Nature n animal lovers will love this place!
