Top price and top quality - still good value”
We have just returned from 7 fabulous days at the Amari Vogue and I can confirm the majority of views previously and extensively reported on this site. Yes, the location is stunning, yes, the property is beautiful and well maintained, yes, the restaurants serve excellent food and yes, the staff are delightful. I can also confirm that the hotel is rather isolated and that the prices are higher than you would pay elsewhere in the area – but if you prefer a quieter, more tranquil, location and you are willing/able to pay for the very best, neither of these should be an issue. As all of the above have already been discussed extensively on this and other sites, I would like to focus on one particular aspect of the service provided by the Amari Vogue - and that is the 4 o’clock Shuttle Bus to Ao Nang. The hotel provides a free minibus into Ao Nang at 16:00 every day. The timing of the journey is a bit awkward – too late for a day on the beach in Ao Nang, and possibly too early for a night out – and the service is only provided one way, so here are my suggestions: - The first point to note is that the minibus is small (8-10 seat) and is often full, so it is important to book in advance at Reception. When you arrive in Ao Nang ask the driver to drop you off at the southern most end of the beach road – to avoid walking back down the hill from the usual drop-off point. Continue walking south (keeping the beach on your right-hand side), down the paved road, past the Ao Nang Villa Resort, to the Last Fisherman’s bar. You may choose to avoid the remaining heat of the day with a relaxing massage at one of many (some air-conditioned) salons along the way. Enjoy a drink or two, overlooking the sea and watching the sunset, in the Last Fisherman’s bar – and then stroll back the full length of the beach road (no more than 400m) to one of the very good restaurants at the northern end of the beach. Note: when the road turns inland, keep walking parallel to the beach, throug
Beautiful hotel, lovely grounds, excellent service”
we stayed for 3 days at amari vogue krabi and wished we had booked more nights. the hotel grounds are so beautiful, especially at night! its is situated on the ocean. they offer beverage and towel service on the beach with kayak rentals and bookings for trips to other islands for the day. the beach is scenic with mountains rising from the ocean. they are about 30 minutes from the shopping and eating area, but have a van (10 ppl) that is available for daily trips. i would recommend this hotel for people who are looking for a romantic getaway and for relaxation. the staff and friendly and knowledgeable. the general manager of the hotel was onsite to greet us as we checked-in and to follow up with us at check-out. we were so impressed by this. the staff was so friendly that when we wanted to feed the fish in the coy pond, they quickly brought food out for us. the staff were willing to help us in any way possible. the room service and bellini restaurant were also amazingly tasty. the rooms are very clean, comfortable, and very spacious. we will definitely stay there again! the staff made our trip memorable and wonderful!
Came back from a 4 night stay at Amari. Was traveling with my wife and 7 month old baby. Overall, the hotel was a great relaxing experience. We had a honeymoon suite which was ok. Huge balcony with private jacuzzi. Only downside is the privacy of the balcony (not very private so using the jacuzzi in a more romantic setting is difficult). Other thing is the amount of stairs. From reception to the beach, I counted exactly 100 steps. My wife and I had no problem with this but I would not recommend this hotel for those with mobility issues. We had our baby stroller which was not practical but were able to get around the steps issue by using the service road on the outskirts of the hotel. Restaurants were pretty good. Thai restaurant was of good quality and prices were reasonable. Italian/beach restaurant was also quite good. Wine list is not very extensive and the 3 least expensive wines on the list were not available and no replacement was offered at similar pricing points. The SUNSET is fabulous. Bring your cameras every evening! Beach is clean with sand bottom. View of the outlying islands is spectacular. Overall, 10 times better setting than Phuket. Overall, Krabi is still unexploited so NOW is the time to visit. The Amari Vogue is a boutique type hotel of limited size but offers high quality service at a price that is competitive. I would return again to this hotel and would recommend for anyone looking for a few days of R&R away from the crowd.
Wonderful relaxing resort!!!!”
The Amari Vogue is a wonderful resort. The resort manager Simon Dell is great.Simon and his staff is very freindly and always trying to help. The resort is beautiful and very relaxing. The food is wonderful. The free breakfast has everything you want. I mean everything. The resturant near the beach is great.Super good food. Very romantic at night with wonderful sea views. The three person band that plays there is great. I can't say enough about this wonderful resort. My favorite place in Thailand. The Amari Vogue Krabi is the top of its class.
Thai hospitality at its best”
We had booked a deluxe jacuzzi room, and upon our arrival we were upgraded to the ocean/pool facing spa suíte, with its private massage parlor, within the Breeze Spa. At first we thought it would not make sense, but it did not go to waste: the spa treatments/massages are excelente, so we actually used the massage parlor a few times. The room décor is very sober, a little dark because of the wood paneling throughout, but undeniably beautiful. The hotel is exquisitely finished throughout. The staff is very friendly and attentive, the manager came to greet us in person upon our arrival, and also to bid us farewell. Very nice touches: chilled water at the beach, ice cream in the middle of the morning, fruit skewers - all complimentary. The food was a little disappointing at the Thai restaurant; we found the Bellini restaurant close to the beach more to our liking. The beach is good, and the sight of the islands across the bay is breathtaking. All in all, an amazing stay. If we ever go to Krabi again, we will certainly choose Amari Vogue.
Attention to details leave a lasting impression”
We've been truly blown away by the Amari Vogue Krabi team. They've gone above and beyond in making every effort to ensure our stay with them was pure bliss. With such lush nature and greenery surrounding the hotel, it was inevitable to feel pampered and relaxed. Food was amazing and we had a fun time at the cooking class within the hotel. With many pools to choose from and the beach at your door step, there really wasn't a need to leave the hotel at all. Truly a must to stay there at least once. I know I'm going back there again.
Worth the Trip”
The Amari Vogue Krabi was our last stop on our trip throughout Thailand. It was a wonderful way to complete a great two week vacation, even if the country was subject to some of the worst floods in history. The surroundings of the hotel were absolutely beautiful and manicured to perfection. The staff and service were perhaps the best that we have had during the time of our travels. We caught a king mackerel on a fishing trip and the chef prepared it for us at dinner. Perhaps one of the best meals we have ever had. We loved the hotel and only regret that we could not stay longer. Definitely worth the money and we would not hesitate to go back again.
We stayed here 1st week of March and would definitely return. Miguel and Simon (the hotel GM's) are brilliant giving a really personal feel. You will not be disppointed with your stay here and we definitely plan to return. The Bellini restaurant does amazing food and the Happy Hour cocktails on the beach are not to be missed. I would highly recommend the Amari Vogue Krabi and will look into other Amari Hotels as a result of our stay.
Serene setting with a view of sunset to die for!”
we are a family of three and stayed for 8 nights. every day was a great stay at amari vogue krabi. the staff, including the general manager and the executive chef greeted every customer daily. lots of activities and excursions (recommend hiring a private taxi through the hotel to go everywhere.) will definitely come back to this resort hotel! if you want a quiet and serene setting, this is the place. a short drive by taxi or the hotel shuttle in the evening will take you to the hussle and bustle of ao nang shopping and dining area.
Great hotel, quality service and amnazing views”
the hotel is well kepts and has been landscaped to give unrivalled views from tubkaak beach of the hong islands from the pools, bar and restaurants. the room (superior deluxe) was spacious and clean. the italian restaurant does great food (when you fancy a change from thai cuisine) and the day menu for beach-side is very wide ranging and tasty. the bbq night is good value for money and has a great choice of food. the service was excellent (despite our room not being ready on arrival) and the traditions of thai hospitality are at their best here. the hotel is quite quiet (which is what we wanted) but ao nang is just a short taxi or scooter trip away but if you're looking for sophisticated relaxation then look no further than the amari vogue. the hotel is not quite 5* in the top-end global chain sense but for the price i couldn't fault it for the experience it provides.
Nice hotel with very friendly staff”
My wife and I stayed at the Amari Vogue Krabi for 4 days. We we're worried about the weather but rain didn't last that long and never interfered with our travel plans. It's a nice hotel very secluded and private with a big beach to watch a perfect sundown. Just what we needed. Amari is a good hotel chain and we we're not disappointed. Would love to go back there soon.
Relaxing and peaceful holiday on a beautiful beach”
Amari Vogue is one of the nicest resorts that I have stayed at in the Krabi region. The level of customer service was outstanding. The resort itself was spectacular in its location and design. The gardens were maintained as was the beach. We stayed in a Royal Deluxe room which was very large, the room was maintained to a high standard. The breakfast buffet selection was huge and would cater to many different tastes. I would highly recommend this resort to any traveller that would like a relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings.
I really liked more or less everything about the hotel. The beach, pool areas, restaurants (both), spa and rooms were all great. The staff were always helpful and very friendly. Before booking however, I would recommend making that this is the kind of place you are looking for. We wanted a nice quiet place to relax and just enjoy comfort and lazyness for a few days and for that the Amari Vogue is perfect. They also organize trips if you want to go around, and I think it's a great place for families. But if you want easy access to restaurants (other than the ones in the hotel), bars, nightlife etc Amari is a bit far from everything else - certainly nothing within walking distance. Restaurant prices are about twice those in Ao Nang restaurants, but that is what should be expected in a 5 star hotel. And the food/service is very nice!
This is our first time in Krabi for 4 days 3 night trip. The first impression of during me and my wife enter to the room. The room setting exactly give us a marvelous relaxing and resting time. One of a surprising, the staff (name:Pri ~if i'm not wrong) after a few day still can remember our room is 5401,this is feel so attentive. The food is delicious and reasonably priced and the overall atmosphere it so enjoy. 1) Improvement : the waiter/waitress must be qualified in bilingual well English. 2) Conculsion : strongly recommended resort in Krabi. Relaxing, romantic, resting place. Definitely what you needed. Thanks to all staff at the entire Amari Vogue and the GM- Michael have a good pleasure to welcome us.
Amari Vogue Resort, Krabi... ”
While I have stayed at the Amari in Phuket numerous times, this was my first visit to the Amari Vogue in Krabi and I was very impressed. The resort really is to die for. The rooms are a great size and the bathrooms the largest I have experienced for some time and I have stayed in a lot of hotels. I have always found Amari food to be of the best quality and far superior to most other resorts and again I wasn't dissappointed. The staff are very attentive and friendly. I will be back!!!!
Pleasant Stay at semi-private beach”
Our stay at the Amari Vogue was great! We are already planning our return visit. It's the only hotel I could find with both a beautiful beach, nice pools, and great service. Small details such as DVDs to check out, candles in the rooms, nightly desert on the bedside stand, cold face towels after returning from town, and homemade icecream at the resort really make this a 5 star place to be. We set up all of our own tours, but the hotel does add that service on. I would recommend using the airport pickup service, and wish that we had. If you're looking a romantic place to stay, look no further. If you're looking to party, go to Ao Nang. Amari is incredibly relaxing and a quiet place to stay.
We were very satisfied with Amari Vogue. We had a very pleasant stay. The accommodations were very well cared for - clean, landscaped beautifully, lots of options for seating around the grounds, a variety of pool selections and seating in the pool. The breakfast has many selections and all good. It is on the beach with a beautiful view of the islands. The staff was helpful for all our needs. They made arrangements for one tour we signed up for and they sent us to a good company and we loved our tour guides and the professional way they handled the safety and the stops we made to the Phi Phi Islands in such a way that we landed when the bulk of the other boats were gone when we came - they knew what they were doing so wish you to send our regards to them too. The rooms were clean and well maintained daily. We loved our stay, thank you and we would come again.
I can't say enough about the Amari Vogue. The staff really knows how to treat their guests. This is truely a hidden paradise! I was in Thailand for a month and out of all the hotels I stayed in, this was by far the best. I can't wait to go to Krabi again just to stay at the Amari Vogue.
We had an amazing time at the Amari Vogue. The staff were wonderful and friendly. The food, especially the thai food is the best. I think they should feature this more. Patrice the general manager was very nice and makes a lot of effort with the guests and made my birthday extra special by organising a special dinner for us on the beach. Ray at the reception was also very nice, as well as many of the other staff including Wanna, Peach ... The singers Julien and Jeroen also were fantastic and make such a great effort to entertain the guests, us included. Many activities to do, with boats awaiting you at the beach. Overall, had a very nice stay and was a lovely, beautiful boutique hotel. D from London
Our stay at Amari Vogue Keabi was absolutely amazing. The resort is incredibly beautiful and the resort staff is so nice and accommodating. Every aspect of our stay was enjoyable and memorable. I would recommend Amari Vogue Krabi to anyone.
