Decent place to stay”
Decent. Friendly staff. They however may not have maps for the city. If you are first time to Ambon, I would suggest you to take a motorbike or taxi to the tourist office up on the hill -- they are very friendly and will you abundant materials on the entire Spice Islands. If you want to go to the beach for swimming, hotels in the city should not be your choice.

Well when I was in Amaris Ambon, they built or maybe expand their building, so it was quite dusty. And I got a room (506) where the toilet was quite smelly. Overall, I like the location and how helpful the staff was, the breakfast was also good.

Worth the money”
It's clean, the staff are helpful and friendly. Amenities are basic, but I think that's how it goes with budget hotels. Location is good, next to 24 hrs KFC so if you feel hungry at night you can go next door. Easy walking distance to nearby restaurants, markets, and city center. Angkot, Ojek and becak are readily available. If you need rented car or taxi you can contact hotel staff for reasonable price. And really good with last minute deal.

It was a good stay during our transit in Ambon. The hotel provide everything we need during transit stay, clean room, comfortable bed, sufficient bathroom, TV, and even a transport to airport (with additional cost). Next to it is KFC - for those who needs quick meals, and some stores around. What i didn't expect was the hospitality service. in which i request for towel, and it took more than 45 minutes just to get it delivered. anything else, is just value for money :)

Centrally located and valued for money”
It is a quite comfortable hotel to stay as the room is not too small for a budget hotel. The city center is walking distance from this hotel and there are some restaurant around the hotel so we at least can find a place to eat and drink easily. The room was clean and the shower worked well. They provide TV Cable and wifi as well.

The check in was fast and professional. Rooms reasonably sized, clean and tidy bathroom likewise. Cigarette burns on side table and writing table, even though on Non Smoking floor. Staff friendly. Nice local breakfast available with some western options. 10 to 15 mins walk to market and harbor.

Value for money, clean, and compact enough”
The hotel is located in the city, so it was easy to find restaurants, food stalls, cafes, and even reflexology. Gift shops were also near. Just take pedicab in front of the hotel and they would show you the good ones. Room was clean and fully equipped with standard amenities. Aircon and TV were good too. Value for money as well, I have nothing to complain about.

Our stay was ok. The 'Smart' room was very small for 5D 4Ns and unfortunately building work was taking place right outside our window. The bathroom smelt of sewage and I had to keep pouring water down the grate in the floor in order to get rid of the smell. But the bed was very comfortable. Staff were friendly and very helpful, especially the two girls on reception. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance but city centre a bit far away, so transport was needed for that.
