Nice Hotel with Good and Helpful Services”
the room is clean, cozy and the air conditioner work as good as it gets: cold. the bathroom and closet is clean enough. the breakfast is quite good, eventhough there's not a lot of options, but good enough for you to start your day with its meal. the receptionist, and other hotel assistant are friendly and helpful. i think i have nothing to complaint about this hotel. for a hotel in "not-so-big-and-crowded-city", Amaris Palangkaraya could provide their customers with excellent facilities.

The best affordable hotel in town”
overall was a very nice hotel, with competitive price for such a small town, obviously better than ordinary local hotel or "losmen" due santika groups managerial system. have quite a good breakfast. spacious room, elegant furniture. fast internet connection, even good for skype, download speed is around 60 kbps. negative point is due to its cleanliness, even though it is better than local hotel, but somewhat less than another amaris hotel, example in jogjakarta. the faucet is not thoroughly cleaned, the air conditioner quite dusty and in one of the room, 109, where i stayed on the first night, the ac was making noise come and go. however, they transferred me to another room on 110 without making any fuss on my complain for room 109. no lift available, but has a very nice ramp in the middle where we can pull the bag along to the next floor. pity for those with no wheel on the bag for they have to carry the bag all the way up. no bell boy that will come immediately to your rescue for that. you have to wait and ask for it.

Simply You Get What You Really Need”
This was my first visit to Palangkaraya as well as my first stay at Amaris group hotel. First time we entered our room, we were little bit amazed by its simplicity. Exactly no unnecessary stuff. You get what you really need only. No unneeded big table for TV, no unneeded minibar, no refrigerator, etc. Thanks to this, the room was felt larger & more comfortable. The space was even enough for 2-3 extrabeds. Extrabed charge was also much cheaper compared to other star hotels. Hot & cold water dispensers at each floor were very much helpful. You wouldn't need to buy additional bottles of mineral water outside. The staffs were also friendly & efficient.

Good deal for a budget hotel”
The hotel is located not far from offices in Palangkaraya and the city mall (Palangkaraya is a small city though). The hotel provides pick up and drop to the airport, its charged though...a little lower than taxis. The room was quite small, and bathroom extremely small (please ensure that u mention u want a large room when u book through agoda). Not much to do around except for the mall. There a small 24/7 store in the vicinity which also sells alcohol.

Small nice and conveniant ”
Rooms are typical from Amaris, the hotel is new but located just nearby the lake so huge amount of moskitos , humidity is also huge and creats moisture on the walls. Very helpfull staff and good english skills .

Nice budget hotel”
The hotel looked almost empty when I arrived, however the staff were very friendly, knew of my reservation and the room was nice, clean and well prepared. I think this is a decent budget-style hotel that provides value for money. Breakfast was typically Indonesian, but could have been better.

clean hotel but service not good”
when i came to Amaris hotel with booking voucher from agoda they said " they dont have anyroom more but they i ask me to wait". so i wait,it take a hour to waitting confirmation without any compliment like coffe or something else. Praise the Lord, ican have room. this hotel dont have restourant,breakfast is bad.

Depends on your perspective and needs”
When I told the locals where I was staying, they were impressed. When I saw the hotel myself, I wanted to switch right away. The Good: Although no one really spoke English, the staff went out of their way to communicate with me via translators, etc. The cleaning service was excellent (bed made, personal items tidied). Bathrooms are small but functional. The Bad: My room smelled of smoke, and my linens reeked of it. So much so that I had to put a cover on my pillow to sleep without getting nauseous. The food on the first day had a funny smell that then translated to the taste. I couldn’t finish my breakfast. The second day wasn’t as bad, but I stuck to the rice and tempeh to be safe. So again, it depends on your perspective and your needs. I’m sure it’s nicer than some other options based on the local response, but I’ve stayed in hostels around Indonesia that are nicer than here.

everything is okey for standard bussiness hotel. but there were no lift/escalator to go to the higher level, there is only ramp and stairs. it is only comfort for the ground floor rooms.

good access but minimalist room”
Food: minimalist food (only bread with two choices jam), rice with chicken/meat, fish, tofu/tempe, eggs, crackers, and fruit. Drink: coffee without creamer, tea, and orange juice. Room: very minimalist, small tv with 10 international channels cable tv, hot and cold water but no bathtub. Window: not good view. For second and third floor: without lift or escalator. Services: good, smile.

nice hotel but lack service”
Its a nice hotel with great view and placed in center of town. I book 2 twin room, but when I checked in, they say there is only 1 available twin room. So I get 1 twin n 1 single room. Then when I go into the room, there are cigar smell, while I'm not a smoker. I have to ask to the receptionist to give parfume to remove thw smell.... When breakfast time, I can't find a knife to eat my omelet... But lovely I can go to airport in only 15 minutes...

A simple nice place”
it's a nice place, clean, with superb bed, latrine, and shower (which for me they are the most basic facilities that cannot be negotiated). with a lcd cable tv, it served me with various entertainment needed. but, it's too far from the central of crowd, nearby to petrol station too, with many queed trucks :( not so close from kahayan river, as advertised. couldn't see it from my window. overall, it's a recommended place to stay.
