LOVED IT!”
By far the best place i stayed in Bali. All rooms have seaview. The restaurant offers delicious food, stuff is very friendly. There is a huge beautiful garden and enough place to find your own spot to relax. There is a small white sand beach directly in front and coralles with a lot of colourful fishes for snorkeling after 10 meters of swimming.

ok seen the place is cheap so nothing to complain much. the hotel is far in the village. is 30min to virgin beach. but just infront of the hotel is already a beach just that maybe not suitable to swim. but the small swimming pool is just beside the beach. is enough for u to deep n amazed the sea view. breakfast was super good! the room just basic stuff. out door shower n toilet bowl. if rain all inside there gonna wet. reception is super friendly tall girl, cant remember the name but she super helpful.

Loved our stay here. Amarta is a lovely place right on the beach Front. Rooms are clean. Staff are friendly. Very good food at the restaurant, and there are other options for eating close by. Located about 3 km south of Candidasa, it is a little away from the town. It is not an easy walk into town, but you can arrange transport. Lovely place to stay.

Great place to stay to see the area, right on the beach with direct access to a small beach where you can swim and snorkel. Limited beach beds available although many chairs, again limited choice at breakfast, however this is after covid and tourism is only just returning. Staff were really friendly, polite and more than willing to help.

Especially if you book with a discount or any special offers, the location offers a wonderful sea view from most of the rooms. Very calm and serene. To my personal taste, the included breakfast is very limited and small. But someone might find it motivating )))

Amazing by the beach cottage!”
Totally worth the money. We were at room 36 and it was amazing. Right in front of the pool and sea. Room was clean, staff were friendly. Breakfast has limited choice, but it was nice regardless. There are restaurants and mini mart nearby very calm environment. Wish I stayed longer!

OK if you have no high expectation”
The hotel has nice sunset view, however, breakfast was small, the pool is so so, and building is old. I stayed there twice though, because it has better rate than other hotels.

Have been a regular guest at Amarta for many years. It is my place of rest and sanctuary especially when I am tired. 2 nights in this serene location always replenishes my energy and levels of joy and gratitude. A most lovely swimming beach. Wonderful cafe with excellent meals. Fresh seafood from the local fishermen each day. Serene gardens. Helpful staff. It’s my home away from home for more than 10 years. 3 standards of rooms - basic, superior and suite. Perfect, no matter your budget. Very quiet during the corona virus shutdown. But the staff very much wait you. Will lift their spirits. And yours

Choose the larger villa”
I had booked the standard bungalow which is very basic - At check-in I changed to the larger villa as shown in the picture. Definitely worth the extra money. Nice quiet stay. Small beach with very clear water. Good area for hikes.

I’ve been going to Amarta for yrs , I love it. Only down side this trip was the hotel is letting people bring their dogs . They are staying in the rooms. This is so wrong , It’s a hotel not a kennel , there were four dogs there and people letting them eat off the restaurant plates . I probably won’t return unless they can change this rule .

The Best Place to Stay in Candidasa”
Loved my blissful 3-night stay at Amarta Cottages. The best located hotel at this beach, quiet, beautiful garden, good architecture, friendly relaxed staff with a great pool. The beach was very nice to swim in. When I arrived I was given a room I wasn't happy with and management moved me to a new room without complaint. Amarta produces too much plastic rubbish by supplying plastic water bottles. To reduce plastic waste, I suggest they provide a water cooler for guests at the restaurant.
