One of the loveliest places I have visited. Very warm welcome and the front office staff is so friendly.. and very responsive. Amazing food. F&B staff and housekeeping staff also really good. Love their quick and quality service. They provide quality service for the money. Beautiful view of mountains and the hotel is located in one of the top hills in Kandy. Super clean. We got complimentary hightea platter too. Room service was superb. It's very quick. Also they have given me FOC late check-out. Well spent 3 days. I would recommend for anyone.

Best mountain view in Kandy”
Awesome mountain view can be enjoyed from every corner of the hotel. Universal plug points are installed in the room so you can practically plug anything to it. Balcony is small but the view is breathtaking. Bathroom is clean and tidy. Staff is quick pleasant and helpful. They were very well prepared specially during the buffet. Never got the experience of lunch buffet but the breakfast and the dinner buffets are just 5 starts.

We stayed here for 3 nights over Christmas and it was just what we needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of Kandy town centre. The room was beautiful, with clean and comfortable bedding and the shower was great. Views out over the hills and watching the sunsets was one of our highlights. It's peaceful and relaxing and the pool is lovely. Would recommend and stay here again!

Excellent stay and Staff”
This is a very peaceful place with very welcoming staff. We stayed two nights at this place and they made sure the rooms are well clean and everything is just a call away. The rooms are beautiful and the view is just amazing from this place. I stayed in cinnamon lakeside in colombo, amaya in kandy, jetwings in nuwara eliya and w15 in weligama. But this hotel was the best amongst all. I cannot tell about the breakfast at this place. I didn't have it here.

We had a car and driver which made going out for dinner easy every evening. The hotel is simply old world charm. Views are stunning from the pool facing rooms. Food excellent at breakfast, again with amazing views.

I visited Sri Lanka for a short period, after staying in Amaya for one day, decided to stay longer, seeing the excellent service they provided. Staff was very friendly, I felt like home. Food was exceptional with a variety of choices. Walking tracks around the mountain leading to the top of Hantana was an excellent experience with picturesque views. Inside the hotel with its grandiose ancient looks and spaciousness surrounded by lush green forest creating a calm peaceful environment for anyone who would know how to enjoy the beauty of nature. Best hotel in Kandy for Kandyan experience.

Due to COVID-19 related schedule change I had to change the date AFTER cancelation period. Amaya reservation team was helpful and made necessary changes with out additional charges. A lady by the name Jayani at the reservation department was very helpful.

One of the best hotels I stayed in Sri Lanka, an Excellent hotel located on top of the hill. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and manager, The staff are incredibly friendly , helpful and generous with their time and advice. Our rooms are very pleasant , clean & comfortable . The restaurant chiefs very flexible to make you any kind of meal you desire Without doubt one Amaya Hills Staff and management exceeded the standers and are outstanding achievers .
