Amazing Vacation”
Overall, as a family we were so delighted with this vacation and the resort. We stayed on 2 BR Villa which was spacious enough for us as parents and 2 teenagers and my youngest 5 years old boy. The swimming pool is kept clean all the time. In fact, being Muslims, we asked for a fence around the pool and the extremely helpful manager managed to fence it within the same day. All Staff are very friendly and would do whatever to please us. We asked for a full-size mirror, and they made one and fixed it for us rather than going outside for the mirrors in the amazing bathroom. The food is clean with a lot of variety for the 3 meals per day. The kitchen staff are all very helpful and always smiling. The sunset fishing was out of this world. The kids enjoyed the boat trip and their fishing experience. The Jet Ski was another fantastic experience for the kids including my 5 years old boy. Our special thanks to Asanka the General Manager, Hajer and Eve at the reception for answering all our enquiries and requests so friendly. Shafy of the Jet Ski was so nice and friendly making the jet ski trips for the kids a very nice experience. Of course, my thanks to all the kitchen staff and the room cleaning staff for their fantastic dedication to make our stay such an experience. The only pain of this trip was the seaplane part. Unluckily we travelled during an extreme weather which wasn't a pleasant experience for all of us but mainly for the children. So, plan your trip when the weather conditions are not extreme. We will definitely repeat this experience again.

We travelled in a group of 6 adults and 3 kids. Stay at Amaya was amazing. The staff of Amaya resort was very friendly and gave us an experience of amazing hospitality. I would like to specially thank Mr. Fareed and Mr. Akash. They made our stay very memorable. Always smiling Mr. Fareed and always ready to take our request - Mr. Akash. You guys are wonderful. Thanks to the entire staff of Amaya to make our trip wonderful.

Perfect Honeymoon Hotel.”
As the title suggests, this hotel is perfect for a quiet intimate stay. More suited to couples in my opinion. The food was amazing, & I'd highly recommend the half board option as a minimum, as the ala carte menu options are expensive for the size portion of the meals available. The staff are all super nice & we definitely got 5 star treatment.

Baby’s first holiday”
We’ve brought our 9 month old here for his first time. The Beach Villa is beautiful and my baby has had a wonderful time. I would recommend getting a full or half meal plan as that offers enough variety of food. The Al a carte menu has limited items. The chef was gracious and made food as per specifications for our baby. Overall I feel like the staff could be a bit more proactive. Everything takes very long, starting from checking us in to getting room service cleared. Their correspondence over email before we got here could have been better. We had little to no information regarding our airport transfer.

Pros: Villas are very spacious and comfortable. Food is great. Service is also decent. Snorkelling, corals, clear water are all a beautiful experience. Cons: pricing is expensive. Sea plane costs an extra $350 per person. Activities are limited on this resort, so it’s great for honeymooners but not so much for adventure seekers. Dive Center has only 2 staff members who are rude and resist taking you for diving/water activities.

Definitely NOT a 5 STAR Resort. ”
Spend the extra 10% and go somewhere else’s. Cleaning not done properly in room, bugs in room and bed, dead bugs left on the back of light fixtures in bathroom, ants crawling from under the sinks, cracked shower floor tiles, power outages in the Villa, dinner table napkins set out on table still soiled from previous day, water glasses set out dirty with dried juice and milk from previous day, very poor kitchen cleaning habits, during rainy days the roof leaked water on the salad bar directly onto the food, buffet only catering to Indians, water sport equipment not working, construction on going, construction debris left floating in the water under the Water Villas, construction workers not considerate of resort guests sleeping times.

Definitely needs refurbishment . I think it has already started because we can here lots of noices from our room. Mr Asanka and the Cheff with all staff members are doing a great job.very helpful. As good as it gets! By far the best resort we have stayed at!”
A fantastic and unique place on earth. We stayed at Amaya for 6 nights, at a water villa. We are a family with two daughters, 6 and 8 years old, and the kids also loved it with our own little pool and great snorkeling just below our water villa. A once in a lifetime memory for life! Great cleaning 2 times a day, lovely bedding, wonderful big bathroom, free espresso machine, 6 free bottles of water every day, etc etc. We loved our water villa with totally privacy. We hade the full board included, and it was the best buffet food we have had ever with great variation every meal. The Chef Mr Ashan and his wonderful team did an amazing effort to give my allergic daughter the greatest food experience. She cannot eat anything with egg and nuts, and the cooked special food for her, and even baked special desserts and croissants to here every day! She was thrilled and loved the food and sweets. My husband is also allergic to many things (gluten, dairy, nuts, eggs, fish, seafood), and they made special food for him everyday. So grateful for that, Thank you all! The food was one of the best experiences ever, so personal and friendly staff, especially Fira who was lovely to our kids during our meals. Also Nimsadh, Akbar and Sujaan in the bar serving us great drinks by the pool. And Catherine in the management team/front desk. Great communication before and during our stay, regarding everything. The fixed everything we wanted. Would love to come back again! You will not be dissapointed if you choose this place. It is fantastic in every way. And it will even get better, with a Teppanyaki restaurant coming up later this year, they told us. The island Kuda Rah is really small, but we believe that is just perfect, with a few villas, it gets really personal, intimate and they all knew us by names during our stay. A memory for life. We took the seaplane from Male and it was a great experience. Everything went well and on time, with great service. Missing
