Disappointing”

The staff was friendly and the check-in process was painless. However the room we stayed in was disappointing: no additional appliances (like kettle, hairdryer, etc) apart from landline phone (for what?). The room was unattractive (this is being generous) and in sub-standard state of repair. It was, however, clean as far as we could establish. This does not seem to be true for the entire hotel: as we walked through the corridors, we noted the interiors of other rooms as they were being cleaned. These rooms were more in line with what one would expect from a 3-star hotel. Why, then, is there such a big discrepancy between rooms within a hotel of the same classification? And why were we given such a rubbish one? I'd rather spend a little more in future, but Ambassadeur will not see me again.

I guess this is what you get for the price. Room ok, shower and shower curtain pretty filthy.

Quaint little hotel”

The hotel is located within the greater Paris area. Transportation to and from are adequate. The staff is in general friendly. But some areas of this somewhat aged hotel need more upgrading. The area restaurants are adequate. Breakfast OK but not too fancy. The place is clean and the room we had was a good size. Would consider staying there again.

Enoyable stay as hotel cheap compared to similar hotels, metro is only 5 min walk away, rooms were basic but clean, staff were always helpful when asking them for directions/advice

No air condition”

It may not feel so good to stay for one night, however, situation improved as we started to adapt there. The hotel is near to supermarkets, so there is not a problem to stock up. I would say the overall environment is a simple one, if you did not expect too much, it is actually okay. Besides, the hotel needs like 5 mins walk to metro station, it is not too convenient actually. To conclude, with such reasonable price, the entire staying is also reasonable.

It was ok.. the hotel location is far from the tourist spots.. before you arrive in the hotel you have to pass some garbage places.. but its a good price anyway.. shower room is very very small..

Bad first impression, needs renovation”

We were checked into a room that was in dire need of a gut renovation and were moved to a better room for our 2nd and 3rd nights. The entire floor for our first night had partially completed repairs and a strong musty/ moldy smell, likely due to the severely stained and worn carpeting throughout the halls. They charge for wifi, which rarely worked properly, which is rediculous considering most cafes offer free wifi for only the cost of an espresso. The manager was not very helpful in regard to our issues and offered no compensation for our very regrettable first night or for the poorly functioning wifi. The reception staff was kind and courteous.

Horrendous. Staff not polite at all. No service. Rude manners. Phone was not working. Lift very uncomfortable. Room too tiny and not cleaned enough throughout our stay. An overall unsatisfactory experience.

La relación calidad precio del hotel es buena . Nosotros solo hemos estado dos noches en Paris y hemos ido al hotel solo a dormir para este tipo de visitas me parece adecuado para más tiempo no . Está cerca de varias paradas de metro y se llega facilmente a todos los sitios turisticos . Tambien permite conocer otra cara de Paris menos glamurosa pero igualmente interesante ya que está muy cerca de Pigalle el llamado barrio rojo parisino , del moulin rouge y del Sacre Coer .

Hôtel ne valant pas 3 étoiles, bricolage au niveau des équipements de la salle de bain, pas de bouchon au lavabo, douche mal conçue, porte pas complètement peinte, peinture du plafond à refaire, chambre pas très accueillante, pas d'insonorisation, personnel pas affable
