Within walking distance to the Blue Mosque and Grand Bazaar, Amber Hotel is a rich Ottoman estate right in the center of Kumkapi. Dine in the Byzantine restaurant for a warm old-styled ambience, a nice glass of wine, and an extensive Turkish menu. And if you're looking for something a bit breezier, head up to the outdoor terrace for astounding city views and great food. The rooms here are cozy and comfortable with dark red rugs, hardwood floors, and a variety of packages. Each room has a nice window view boasting views of the nearby sites and attractions. All of them offer modern amenities and an old world style. And if it's a cocktail you're after, try one at the garden bar. Relax with friends outdoors during the summer months and swap stories of trips to the museum and Blue Mosque - all within walking distance from your hotel.

Overall a god hotel and good location. Rooms are small . Probably standard in most hotels im insure.
Mr. Naseem, the Receptionist was so friendly and helpful. Location near by a lot of restaurants and small shop. and 5 minutes walk way to Grand Bazar
Please refund my money ”
Dear Agoda I didn’t stay one night at this hotel the room was not as shown on pictures and extremely uncomfortable, small and not suitable I checked out in the very same day I check in they refused to refund my money In addition the hotel was under maintenance and very noisy and doesn’t seem to be safe for children
Value for money and well located
The worst hotel I even been too”
I was shocked that this hotel is rated with 4 stars. It must be only one star. The hotel is small and old. And located in a bad location in Instanbul.
Poor service. Shocking. Not a 4 star!!!!”
I am very disappointed with the service provided. I had pre arranged airport transfers but no driver turned up. The hotel then said he was there and we 'probably' did not see him. On the return transfer again no driver so had to arrange my own taxi. The room is very small. No space to put luggage. It looks very big in pics but actually very small. I would never stay here again and would not recommend this to anyone!!
It‘s worth the money”
The location is central and if you want you can reach many historical buildings from Istanbul walking. The Staff is very friendly. The lamps in our room wasn‘t the best but it was ok.
Best Hotel in town”
Very good hotel 👍”
Very good hotel I would recommend to people. Very friendly staff and atmosphere around the hotel.
The staff was very cooperative specially Mr nassim as he helped me alot in understaning the things”
Well i think one must book this hotel due to there hospitality and gentleness.
Very good location”
We spent 3 days in Istanbul and had a good time staying in Amber Hotel, the rooms are tiny but clean and the hotel is very well located, walking distance to the Gran Bazar, tram station and Sultan Ahmed .The breakfast is on the roof top with view to the sea and it is fresh and filling, the staff was helpful and welcoming, they helped us to book our tour to the Bosphorus and provided us with a touristic places information. Recommendable place.
Mr Yakub from the hotel reception was very helpful. The hotel was so noisy. Good location and close to the blue mosque and top kapi.
The hotel is in a busy area near the sea. It is near to sights to see and the breakfast buffet has a great view over the water. The room was small but nice and everything was clean. The breakfast was a standard Turkish buffet, and the only downside to it was the coffee, which was from a machine and not good.
Value for money”
I love the pillow..good location, walking distance to blue mosque, hagia sofia and grand bazaar. Lots of restaurants and shops in the area. Staff is very helpful and friendly.
good stay with kids”
good stay with kids
i got lucky booking, they had it listed on agoda for a fraction of the price. I dont think the normal rate is worth it, as its a hike up to the tram line. Overall the hotel was great, i would stay again, but wouldnt pay the price
Hotel with great charm , friendly staff and a deli”
We had an amazing stay in this small hotel packed with charm and friendliness , Nothing was to much trouble. Staff went out of their way to assist and nothing was to much trouble. I can highly recommend the Best Western Amber.
good for sleeping in a quiet properly clean room”
Building is smaller than it seems on photos. My room was astonishing small. Nobody, at my own experience, speaks a clear english. But, all summed, everything was good.
Stay was comfortable, clean, friendly ”
My stay was very comfortable, hotel was clean, staff was very friendly, hostess Nada was extremely helpful and friendly, and guidance was provided promptly whenever we got lost. Near to all the major attractions, metro station was a plus point; you can take metro to all the major areas of Istanbul, which really minimized the transportation cost. My sincere advice to the tourists is to discover the metro the very first day, its on walking distance from the hotel. The metro stops at all the major tourists areas, you can basically buy the tickets at the station. Taxies are also easily available as soon as you step out of the hotel. Don’t miss Zia Baba’s kebab which is located on the same street as the hotel is, locals on street can direct you as well, extremely yummy and affordable restaurant you get the best for your money and get the taste of real kebabs. Breakfast was monotonous, needs variety , however several other restaurants in the area serve nice breakfast too.
