The proximity to the river made it very interesting, we especially enjoyed Long 1919 which is within walking distance of the hotel. The staff was so kind and helpful, we were running late for a river cruise and the staff bent over backwards to make sure we got there on time. The western breakfast in the am was delightful on the patio overlooking the river. The room was beautiful with lots of old-time charm and romance, the stand alone tub was wonderful! The bar in the hotel is lovely and open late with a great wine and spirit collection. The woman at the front desk was a gracious host and very knowledgeable. My boyfriend and I will definitely stay again!

Amdaeng is a hotel located inside a hidden around a local place that has a lot of Thai - Chinese people area you can't see anything until you call them to pick you up to enter Amdaeng. The first impression you will see of a red building is the signature of Amdaeng, inside of the hotel design and decora for traditional and contemporary Chinese style. The room is unique, the loop top is a very Avery nice view, you can see the city around the Chao Phraya River. don't forget if you want to need charging sitting your power or sip a cup of coffee and nice tea stay with Amdaeng are cozy and quiet. last but not least the Moring breakfast boiled rice very delicious

Super satisfying and much-needed retreat!”
If nothing else, go just to ride the elevator! The decor and staff are fabulous. The restaurant is classy, and the food is delicious, but it is only open on the weekends. We just wanted something casual and ended up with a gourmet - yet scrumptious - bowl of soup and spring rolls. haha! It was very good, and we had a WONDERFUL time ... and several hot baths [insert drooling emoji]. Thanks, Amdaeng!

a charming boutique hotel by Chaopraya river”
many attractions to visit with walking distance or crossing the river, from temples to fresh market to luxury shopping mall. We did enjoy nice river view and breeze from the roof top bar. Our room facing the river with balcony to enjoy the view. We love everything. Food is also good except the bacon and ham of the breakfast, but the special boiled rice menu is real good.

One of the most nice to stay in Bangkok with great view of Chaopraya river. This place is beyond my expectation and perfect for couple looking for stay in a romantic scene. More than that - Nye restaurant in hotel is perfect fusion dish and value for money. Rooftop is great to chill at night with wide perspective. Recommended to spend one more night.

Stayed here for a night to explore a different neighborhood in Bangkok. Just cross the river from bustling Chinatown and here you'll find a peaceful surrounding. Place to stay, see the river, and hear crooning birds. Hotel has lovely retro design with comfy room and all amenities to love. Rooftop is something you drfinitely can't miss. Cute boutique by the river ”
The hotel is a very nicely designed boutique hotel by the river on Thonburi side. It’s now easier to get to due to the new BTS gold line. There isn’t much to do on that side of the river but across the river from the hotel is the bustling Charoen Krung. And there’s the Icon Siam mall near by. The hotel’s dinner service is very good. The breakfast was decent but nothing extraordinary. The dinner cruises and boats can be quite loud as the rooms are not noise proof. But the room is dozy, beddings are very comfortable, and I love their shampoo and conditioner set it made my hair so soft and shiny! They should sell those in a gift shop.

We only stayed here one night, on New years Eve. This is a very cosy and remarkable hotel, we had a nice stay. The staff was very friendly, the hotel has a nice rooftop bar. Liked it a lot. It can be a little bit hard to find, but when found its worth it.

Photogenic hotel”
Very photogenic hotel. And very understanding hotel. I postponed 2 times (due to covid-19 and personal reason) and they do understand us that's made me feel so good. The room is clean and have a good smell. I don't know that there's a mistakes or what because my extra bed was didn't done proper and also not look so good. But it's clean Some of the staff is not so a service-mind person. We(I and my friends) love the hotel for overall.

Unhelpful Front Desk Staff”
This will be my second time staying at the Amdaeng Riverside resort. The first time about 2 years ago I had no complaints, hence my return visit. It is a beautiful boutique hotel with a nice view on the river. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the bar in front is quaint. The only thing I didn't enjoy about this visit was the helpfulness of the front desk staff. The woman working in front was unfriendly and seemed bothered by our presence. When we asked for a nearby restaurant suggestion she plainly answered that she had none. Her unhelpful demeanor and stale attitude was left less to be desired.
