Visiting PKU for business. Nice Hotel. Include Breakfast. But I was wondering, why do they turn music on all the time? I woke up at 3 am, hearing that piano music, maybe it's a lullaby, but bit annoyed actually.

I would absolutely not recommend this hotel to anyone. Abysmal experience throughout. Booked smoking rooms and two nights stay. Check-in was handled by an inexperience receptionist and unable to issue rooms' key-cards promptly. Had to use master key-cards and after which have to return it by ourselves. Hallway wasn't well ventilated. Windows were sealed upon further observations. Rooms looked clean and tidy, but with limited amenities. Just a toothbrush and comb set. Reeks of heavy cigarette smell and sealed windows. Heavy smokers found it distressing. Vicinity of hotel have lurking drug abusers according to locals. Breakfast selection was limited and normal. Decided to check-out after one night for health and safety reasons. After breakfast, receptionist reminded us to check-out before noon despite booking for two nights. Laughable. Rates may be inexpensive and in somewhat good location, the experience there does not justify the good points. There are better options elsewhere

Good value for the money”
The staff was great and so was the location. The price was very reasonable, You can buy beer about a 1/4 of a mile down the road across from the Christian church. It opens around 5 pm. There is a good and cheap restaurant across the road. The breakfast was great and had a good selection. It included coffee, juice, tea, toast, cereal, rice, eggs, fruit, noodles, and more. There is a good water park you worth visiting called Riau Fantasi. The only small problem was that the rooms smelled of cigarette smoke because people are allowed to smoke in the hotel.

Great value hotel in quite location of Pekanbaru”
This was an ideal hotel to relax and it's conveniently located. Staff are very friendly despite limited English and we always had access to everything we needed. If there was any special request that we had, the staff were always happy to help once it was possible to communicate. There's some great places to eat hawker style food right across the street, and a more upmarket restaurant next door to that. The hotel opens directly into the adjoining shopping plaza, which doesn't have the best selection of shops but it's OK and there's a fried chicken chain restaurant in there that is popular with locals (we never tried that, but they get a lot of customers). There are small shops near by to buy what you need, and the whole area around the hotel heading toward the main part of town is lined with market streets (each street seems to have a theme, bags in one street, clothes in the next, food in another, and so on). Close to hospital, police station, print shop. Just past the hospital you can find Alfamart and Indomaret, and there's a small supermarket close to them with a wide range of products.

Overall is good. Maybe would be better if maintenence for the facilities like AC and TV get more attention. Unfortunately, an AC is lil bit hot, unfunctional of remote TV, and i got 2 insects in my room. But the other facilities like shower, heater, breakfast are good. I can tolerate bcs of price and all facilities that i got. Thank you ameera hotel

The room was clean and they served you breakfast. Quite surprise with the option for breakfast. The taste also good. Despite not much option for food around the hotel, but you can enjoy your stay at the hotel. Spacious room, clean and also helpful staff. I would go back there next time. The reception helped me with early check-in. It was beyond for me. Thanks again.
