The rooms were horrible they claimed newl remodel but it was old kitchen sink used in a water damage basin. Doors didn’t secure like we’re supposed to. It looked like a crack hotel.

The area is so sketchy. We aren’t that picky, but worried about our vehicle parked there. The first room we were given had blood on the walls and there is plastic on the mattresses. The other furniture is a chair. The bathroom was still dirty. They moved us to another room which was also dirty, and had no pillows or towels. Both nonsmoking rooms smelled of smoke. We couldn’t stay there. We had to pay for that night, but it was worth it to NOT stay there. I understand the “you get what you pay for” idea, but this place isn’t worth any amount. The front desk guy was understanding though.

Room was dirty; still had dirty towel in floor from whoever stayed there before me. Only one microwave in lobby for everyone to use and you can't park your car where you can see it. Not at all what I expect from Americas Best

We did not complete our stay at this hotel as the room we were provided had several different areas of multiple-bodily stains, primarily on the bedding as well as facing extremely uncomfortable scrutiny from other guests who chose to hang out by their cars rather than in their rooms. When we discussed our cleanliness concerns with the manager on duty, he attempted to show us 2 other rooms, which were equally unclean and stain-filled. He did agree to issue a refund after we stated we were too uncomfortable to continue with the reservation. He did not wish to issue us a copy of the refund receipt, however after several minutes did finally allow us to at least SEE the refund receipt.

the conduct of this place of business will be reported to the better business bureau. the towels were dingy and bed linens as well as the floors and bathroom. we had to ask for towels and beds to be made, the front desk response was that they do this every other day, this is unsanitary as we were staying for 3 days, should have been done daily, paid online and their online presentation of rooms is a lie, definitely compared to the same hotel chain in other parts of kansas city, such as the airport or little rock, arkansas, which were both much better! this hotel is in south kansas city, which is my hometown, but to visit over the holiday weekend with this welcome back is terrible, you should have the hotel a nice place to stay and not just a place to stay! good ratings, good service, cleanliness and the best value is not what this location has to offer, dont do it.

found on toilet seat. Hair in shower drain. Shower drain clogged. Blanket thin. Towels thin and sized for small children. No refrigerator. Lights worked. Heat was not on at all, so we entered a freezing room. The heaters, however, were functional so the room was warm in a short while.
