Great value”

The hotel was clean, quiet and the staff were good. Good location, easy access from I-80, near restaurants, all combine to make this an excellent stop for business or pleasure in the Iowa Ciry area.

Descent Hotel”

For the price, you get a descent hotel. It had nice furnishings and large rooms, however the carpet in the hallways was not very clean and they took shortcuts with wiring the TVs etc. It was quiet. The pool wasn't open. The continental breakfast was basic. Staff was friendly.

Pool was not available. Would have been nice to know before we checked in, as we would have stayed somewhere else. No hot water in our room, just lukewarm.

A surprise ”

A very nice new and clean hotel with spacious room and bathroom. Our kids loved it the moment we entered the lobby. Very welcoming room layout and comfortable beds. There is a coin laundry on one of the floors which was very handy. Chain restaurants are nearby.

Place was filthy and the staff didn’t seem to care. ”

I addressed the many issues with the staff and she didn’t even bother to ask what room we were in. Apparently she doesn’t care or every room in the building has the same issue..plugged bathroom drain, hair and filth from previous customers all over the room, bathroom vent plugged solid with dust and who knows what else, and the list goes on when talking about the common area. My guess is every room has the same, if not more, issues. WILL NEVER BE BACK to any AmericInn.
