Amazing ”
Ammazulu African Palace is absolutely great from the time you get there to the moment you leave. Alta and her staff are very welcoming and attentive. The hotel itself id beautiful, however it does need a bit of maintenance in the rooms as it is aging, some tiles on the shower floor were missing and the shower head didnt function properly. We will however definitely be back for another stay as it was a great experience.

Magical”
Without a doubt the most unusual and magical hotel experience bar none. Can't explain it, you have to go there to understand it, brilliant, been back twice already and will continue to do so.

Wow!!”
From the moment I walked in, I was in love. The art, the color, the staff, the nature, all of it was incredible. I’m definitely going back!

Disappointed”
Ammazulu African Palace is certainly unique with huge spaces, attention to detail with the African art and playful colors, a definite Museum like feel, very peaceful/tranquil atmosphere with extraordinary views to connect with nature HOWEVER the Presidential suite was a complete disappointment as I found the couches in the suite and the cushions and scatter cushions on the patio VERY OLD and dirty, I couldn't get myself to sit on it both in the suite and on the patio. It truly defeats the purpose of the phenomenal view as you want to sit in comfort and cleanliness to take in the views while reading a good book. The insects were a problem at night with the lights on, the doors were left open to air the room to prevent/avoid the stuffy aged smell which doesn't go away AND there is NO air-conditioning in the Presidential suite in the midst of SUMMER, in addition there was no bin to discard take away containers nor any cutlery. The restaurant does not serve lunch or dinner and we required to order using Mr Delivery.

Spectacular view from the presidential suite room number 7”
There are two presidential suite rooms. We stayed at room 7 which has a great view and the room has air conditioning. The other room does not have. The breakfast was cooked for the presidential guests in the special kitchen/dining area.
