I stayed in same type bedroom of a so called Grand hotel (toilet facility is too basic, no kettle, not enough toilet roll, smaller room size) which cost 600B per night. i decided to move to Phukaning which cost 530plus baht. Thankful we did, room is spacious, simple but cozy decor, there's kettle and proper toiletries. Only cons is that it is just outside town area, ...

4 best things at this hotel : cleanliness, large room, helpful staff, new hotel (just open 2-3 months) When I stayed, there're only 2 operated floors because this hotel just opened for 2-3 months. At 5.30AM during my sleeping time, loud cracking/falling noise in front of my room woke me up early and that scary loud noise made me sick and then I called operator and as...

The hotel is located just behind the colleag close to Big C, no restaurant in hotel but there is s small cafe at the front road with great food. The room is very clean I stay here about 12 days, the housekeeping clean my room every day, the staff here are very friendly overall is very good highly recommended

Modern clean and super soft bed, we stayed 1 night in a King delux(standard room) and found ourself needing a second night late in the day(9pm) the only avaliabke room a suite, (i thought oh yeh) we booked in a little desperation but on arrival found the hotel full, and indeed we had the last room and was i pleased after a long drive to relax late in the evening in a ...

After a hard time at work I was in great need of a restful break, but as I live in Laos I also wanted a bit of "civilisation" and Tanita resort offered the best of both world: beautiful and peaceful resort, and shopping fun in Udon. The bungalow was super comfortable with absolutely AMAZING bedding. Breakfast is a simple: fried eggs, sausage, toast and marmalade, but i...

The rate is not bad. Worth to pay! Room is clean and guarantee the parking lot for every rooms as we can park in the front of the room. :) All you get in the room; amenities, towels, 3-in-1 instant drink with electric kettle, TV, air-con, fan and washing machine!!... It's a bit far from city but it's good as there isn't any noise, etc. The main road is currently un...

Loved our stay in this brand new hotel. Spotless, clean and well designed. They have a massage parlour in the hotel and experienced masseuse. The staff are absolutely wonderful and very friendly. Location wise, it is a short 10 minute drive to the city centre where UD Town, Central Plaza is and 3 minute drive to Bo Bae market. It is close to a beautiful dam with tradi...

I have stayed at GM Green Resort 4 or 5 times, since it is very close to my friend's farm. In the past not all things worked well, plumbing primarily. A/C is good. Room is clean, but they do not pay attention to all the details. Staff very friendly. They seem to be repairing things that have been neglected in the past.

After looking at a number of hotels around Ubon Thani, about an hour to search for ideal location and price. When we to a tuc tuc no one had heard of this hotel. But after half an hour of asking around we jagged it. It was not listed on the map at the correct address. So we had to stay adjacent to the airport, long haul into town away from everything except the paddy r...

The hotel is brand new which means everything is clean and works properly. The room was large and we had a lovely view of green pastures. The pool was in great condition but lacked shade in the afternoon. It is close to the airport and a short walk to a Big C where I was able buy food supplies and a cheap 200 baht kettle because the room didn't have one. The downside t...

When I left I had nicknamed the Staff my "Hotel Family". They sincerely care about you and try very hard to make you feel at home. We spent an hour having fun with Google Translate and Mom was getting it installed on her Ipad. Ask to rent a motorbike from MAM and go anywhere you want. The WIFI is great. I will definitely stay here again. I would return to Udon Thani ju...

Stayed before when playing golf across the road, well just up it. Always clean, staff excellent, best in the area at this price. No food but good eating places nearby with farang food. Complimentary coffee in morning and can get a takeaway just up the road to go with it for breakfast. If you want this location no need to look further.

Booked for one night and have no complaints. Quite the opposite. Very impressed with the guesthouse rooms, restaurant and staff. The full English breakfast (not included in the room fee) was excellent and rates as one the best I've eaten in Thailand. Our room wasn't overly large but nicely furnished and more than adequate for the two of us. No issue with noise at all...

We stayed for 3 nights and were blown away by the genuine hospitality and generosity of our hosts. We were picked up from the airport in Udon by Chris and Jet. Pros: - Tony is a hotel school trained chef, and makes excellent, high-quality food - The portions of food are enormous - enough for seconds and thirds - Chris took care of us, always making sure we had everyth...

Very nice resort, a place to relax, very helpful staff, good food. Easy to travel to centre and various tourist locations. The staff were always available, willing to help. all in all they provided a very good service. Easy to find on the outskirts of the city; thus giving a nice relaxing atmosphere, especially in the garden and pool areas. Highly recommended,...

Very pleasant. Lovely bed in spacious room. Wonderful plush towels, hot water. Air con (not needed when I was there in December). TV with maybe 10 English channels; wifi Internet, 4/5. Fenced in balcony area. Security: onsite staff, regular key door lock. Inside: sturdy sliding bolt. Outside: can take own lock, when leaving for day. Onsite washing machine! 30 Baht for ...

One of the best places I have ever stayed at. Very peaceful and relaxing. If you want to get away from the big city and experience real thailand then this is the place to stay. Real working farm. Can fish, swim, and enjoy all the farm has to offer. Rooms where 4 star quality. Staff needs a little work, but this due to the fact it is a nonprofit run by the young a...

It was I think the hotel with the nicest rooms I stayed in, in asia the rooms were big and nice the bed new and comfortable. The washroom was very good good toilet, good shower, good air conditioner. The hotel restaurant was very good very good free breakfast. It was dirt cheap to only $20 US. Unfortunately there was nothing around the hotel just one busy hiway. Udon T...

when i came back to bkk after visatrip to lao,i choosed to leave bkk again cuz of flooding. no food,no water where i live. i booked 1 month here on bb-villa and that was a clever decision :-) outstang service here.great performance from miss bow and crew. i was only in bkk 24 hours then i returned to this lovely place. very nice swimmingpool, gym, free and good wifi...

Of my 2+ weeks this was the most comfortable bed I slept in. While firm, it had sort of a pillow top. I liked it much better than the typical Thai rock hard beds. They obviously accommodate English speaking guests with English information in the rooms, English speaking staff, and western/Thai food menu. This is not a 5 star facility so don't expect that. It was comfo...

On arrival the resort staff were very freindly and helpful, depsite limited English language it proved not to be a problem. The owner of the site was pleased to hire out the family motorbike for a very low price. Local supermarket and night markets are 5 minutes away despite the site being located in a very quiet area.

We booked this hotel in advance only to arrive and find that their map is totally wrong. We chose this place for the sole reason that it was supposed to be just a short ride/walk away from the city center... This is not true, as it is actually quite FAR away. We had to pay our taxi twice the price to help us search for this place. We spent such a long time looking for ...

The place is very clean and comfortable. Although it is not right in the middle of the town, it's not too far from everywhere. If you have a car, this is probably a place you could consider. It's just a few minutes drive from a service station and Tesco Lotus.

Near dusty road, 10km to Udon Thani and not easy to get transport. Grey concrete bungalows don't look good outside, but little better inside: Tv, fridge, AC, fan and big bed with big stains on bedsheets... Looks like this place made only for local tourist with own transport; they don't have any english-speaking staff.

The Romyen Mansion is located less than 5 minutes drive from the airport. The staff were on time to pick me up from the Udon Thani Airport and drop me off without any problems. It is down a narrow lane so noise was not an issue (however there are some dogs in the area which you can hear barking from time to time). The rooms were basic, but suited my needs. They have gr...

There is a basic Thai restaurant about 1 km away. The hotel owner was kind in arranging for us to be loaned a scooter to get there. Quiet place, large room, very clean. Couldn't get the USB slot in the TV to work, suspect the remote control was the problem.

It was a great stay. Not much to do around this area, but not what I came here for anyway. Was a perfect place to take the girl for privacy. The room was nice and big, very clean, cable tv, A/C worked great, big comfortable bed. The best thing about the room was the floor to ceiling windows overlooking forest type setting, even tho it's in town, feels like you're ...

Our stay at Fahluang Resort was enjoyable. The room was spotless and the staff very friendly although english was limited. It is 1km off the main road as we had a car this didn't present too big a problem and there was always plenty of space to park our car at the end of the day. If you wanted to stay outside of Udon Thani and have your own transport I would recommend...

Super comfortable and very well furnished room. Staff are friendly and helpful. Easy to park a car with very large and safe parking lot . Hotel provides free wifi and many plugs in the room. (we have 2 iphone, 1 ipad, 1 notebook). Some hotel that we used to stayed has only 1 plug. Hotel also have a car for free airport delivery. We definitely will stay at this Hotel ne...
