Difficult to get too. Not in central Amsterdam. Breakfast very ordinary. Very steep and narrow stairs.
Overexpensive place for the value”
I don't know what I expected from the cheapest hostel I could find for my travels in Amsterdam but whatever it was, it didn't get fulfilled. The hostel (or hotel as they tend to call themselves) is a rather uncomfortable place to spend time other than the necessary sleeping time. The WiFi was not working. Overall cleanliness of the place is really bad. What they claim to be breakfast included has nothing to do with breakfast, plain toast bread with garbage-tasting jam, thats it. Most of the staff, except for like one member, were really unfriendly and appeared hostile all the time. I cannot recommend Hostel Sarphati, especially not for the price. If you can, find another place to stay in Amsterdam, it will be much better worth it.
Don't waste your money”
This hostel is not in an ideal location, it is quite a distance from the city center. The rooms are overcrowded and disgusting.
i guess value for money”
The location is very nice but the hostel itself may need a better staff to man the reception. The food is not great. Bfast is included but theres nothing there when i work up. Coffee is cold, no utensils that can be used. There should at least a staff that would ensure to refill the coffee.... the bedsheet smells. Overall the hostel is not that bad but if its rated 2 stars, i feel its overrated and needs a lot of improvement.
its was comfortable stay”
My stay at Amsterdam was quit excellent.
Very helpful staff, bedding fresh and clean, small but clen bathroom in every room, breakfast given in price. Definitely worth the money.
Sauberes Hostel in toller Lage”
Bara negativt
