It's been my 4 nights already in Amy hostel. The location is amazing, 10 min from the market, one side is the rich quarter, one side is the local one, very cheap food on that side. The hostel is so clean. The only thing to improve would be the curtains in the dorm as they are white and we can see through. Except this, breakfast is very good, the lounge is amazing comfortable. If there's one place you have to stay in Hue is AMY hostel.

Great value hostel in a good location ”
A really good hostel in a good location in Hue. It's only a short bike ride to the old city and there are plenty of good restaurants nearby. The staff at the hostel are really friendly and helpful and were really helpful in ordering me a taxi and making sure I was going to the right place. The dorms are nicely set out and really clean. Shared facilities were also well kept.

Enjoyed our first ever hostel stay”
We had a great time at Amy Hostel. Our first hostel stay and our kids loved the bunks! We are a family of six with two parents and four kids (15, 12, 10, 7). My husband and I stayed in a double room and we book and 4-bed dorm room for the kids to share. There was a bit of confusion when we arrived as the staff assumed the double booking was in error, but they quickly rearranged things so that we could have the rooms we needed. The bathrooms are a little dated, but they were clean. The staff is very kind and helpful. The location is great: walking distance to the citadel, great restaurants, the night market, etc... and not a long walk, either. We did it nightly with our seven year old in tow.

Lovely stay”
We had a great time at Amy Hostel. Staff were so helpful, absolutely anything you asked for they wanted to help. Good location for the imperial city. Breakfast was ok, could have been better but it was free, so! She helped us with tours and travel onwards. Stayed in both dorms and private room. Dorms have nice high ceiling beds and dividers, lockers etc. Toilets were basic but clean. Private room was great, cosy beds and clean shower room.

Amazing Staff”
Rooms super comfy, staff is incredibly helpful and friendly! Hue Day tour I bought at the hostel is quite nice, but it’s stop at the “princess garden” and is just a waist of everyone’s time, nothing to see or do in there, so give them the feedback that day should take that place out of the tour :)

Awesome and friendly staffs”
Was here from 23-26 April & I can tell you, this is the place you've gotta stay when passing Hue! Rooms were clean and staffs were all friendly with a great willingness to help in every way. Especially Lien. She's very friendly and helps in pointing out the various places to visit and also if you need it, she helps you to mini¡- plan where you can head to first to start your day! I'm a fan of exploring local markets cos I'm an amateur chef and she told me where to go. Of cos, she's not the only one that's helpful. just my experience with her was a great one. Folks here speak English so not to worry on that front. Greatly recommended!

Supper friendly staff !”
I supossed to stay only one night in this hostel, but the staff was super friendly and recommend me a tour, and restaurants, so at the end I stayed one night more. They also book for me the bus from hue- hoi an. The included brekfast is okay for the price, and the hostel is quite clean :)

The hostel is clean and the beds are very nice, location is great, balcony, cheap beer & Amy is amazing, she fixes everything for you. She made everything so easy for me. I came with 99 problems but I left with none. She even woke me up when I overslept. Thanks to her I didn't miss my buss 😂 Thank you so much Amy & your friends/staff

Amy’s hostel was great ”
It was clean and beds had dividers, staff were so helpful. Breakfast could have been slightly better (shell in the eggs and the fruit was cut on the garlic chopping board so tasted like garlic) but it was free. We loved our time here and Hue is beautiful

I look this decent hostel giving us very basic services in very simple style with very affordable price. Good hostel for any guests in backpacker style: hot shower with soap and shampoo equipped, clean towel offered, clean toilets and toiletries in place, clean bed sheet, keeping rooms clean, good simple breakfast, one high language-skilled staff(day-time staff), helpful, friendly and kind staffs' attitude toward guests even though some unlikely to utilize any language other than Vietnamese. I really appreciated the staffs’ kind invitation to their lunch together! It was wonderful exchange, indeed!

great hostel. staff were really nice. on my first day they sat down with me and explained all that is worth seeing in the town. thru the hostel me and a fellow guest ended up renting motobikes and riding two day to hoi an where we gave the bikes back. I would have not had this adventure if had not been for amy. thank you : )

Good Value”
We stayed 2 nights here in their private room (they also have dorm style hostel rooms for lower price). The room was relatively spacious, and the bed was comfy. Only downside was the shower ran cold in a couple minutes so neither of us were able to have a hot shower during our stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful with arranging a bike rental for us as well!

location is walking to river & main backpacker street with eateries & pubs around. amy and her team are really helpful and assist whenever they can. scooter for rent, tips for sightseeing free map. rooms are basic and bathroom ok, nothing fancy. special thanks to teammember sweet mouse, she is really cute and always smiling. actually they all are. fully recommendable

loved my stay here. Amy and the other staff were so friendly and helpful. small place which made it nice and social. few ants in the loo but not an issue. met some great people here!! I recommend staying here for sure. kangaroo bar is good for food and you'll have a great night out in Brown Eyes bar, full of friendly locals!

Nice clean hostel, good breakfast, not far from Royal City, and not far from Big C Supermarket. Wifi on 2 and 3 floors didn't work all week I stayed, so wifi was only on the first floor, they tried to fix it but not successful. Except for it nothing to complain about

Got moved to their sister hostel, Amy 2”
Booked the 4bed female only dorm. They moved me to their sister hostel because they said the room was being painted. They had one of the workers take me there on her scooter. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Staff were helpful in organizing buses for my next destination and provided great tips for local foods. Breakfast was filling and had a few options

Stayed in a dorm room for 3 nights . Hostel is walking distance to backpacker street and night market. Beds have locker storage on the bottom. There's two separate showers and separate toilet stall. The walls may be a bit thin so you will need earplugs if a light sleeper. Staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful . They made the stay excellent.
