Exceeds my expectations!”
We were the first guests at An Bang Sunset Village Homestay! The host and her lovely family greeted us with optimal hospitality. The homestay was recently renovated so everything is brand new and clean. Lovely modernized village-style, 2-story building with four large rooms and comfortable living spaces. Our room was more spacious and beautiful than the pictures on their Agoda page. The host owns a seaside restaurant nearby (food was delicious there!) so she is particular about serving us great local food options for breakfast. Most of the staff are her family members - very friendly, thoughtful and considerate. They can arrange tours, motorbike rentals, airport transfer for you and refer to other services upon request. That said, they don't try to force advices or tour packages on you - which I really appreciate. We enjoy our 2 weeks in Hoi An and our stay with An Bang Sunset homestay contributed a great deal to that. We would definitely stay here again when we return!

If we could, we would move in”
On our trip through Vietnam we decided to go back to Hoi An for a second time as our halong bay part got cut short because of a storm. The first time, we stayed at Under The Coconut Tree which is really great, the second time we decided to try the Sunset Village homestay which turned out to be the best place we’ve stayed at in all of vietnam. You’re less than a minute a way from the beautiful An Bang beach, the rooms are incredibly spacious and also come with a great shower. The breakfasts are also amazing, especially the viet iced coffee and smoothies you always get. The highlight of the stay though is Phong, she’s the friendliest and most warm hearted human being we’ve ever encountered and it seems like her very goal in life is to make everyone around her feel good. A clear ten stars from us.

Exceptional”
We stayed here for a couple of days in March '17 for some R&R midway through our first trip to Vietnam (we'd started in the north & later visited Hoi An & the Mekong). It was the perfect location, wonderful facilities and only 3 minutes from the beach (where Tuyet, the owner, also runs a brilliant restaurant with free sun loungers for her guests). Tuyet & her husband, and Hue - the housekeeper at the homestay - were friendly and really helpful, making us feel more like friends than paying guests. This was our first homestay experience - for the rest of our trip we'd booked into hotels - but it won't be our last. Only 10 mins taxi (60,000 VND) from Hoi An, and 20 mins cycle (free bikes provided), but we didn't feel the need to leave An Bang, being happy to chill in the homestay and on the beach for a few days. Will definitely return.

Secret no more”
Sunset village homestay is new, but feels well healed. Close to beach; in friendly VN village. Staff is family, so nearly a homestay. Owner has beach restaurant, no close but easy walk. Outstanding food, with beach lounges free for guests. I'm reluctant to rate this so high, for fear of unavailability next time to Ang Bang. I live Thailand, and rate this right up there with the best places to holiday. Cheers....Eric

Value for money - definitely "must stay" ”
+ We had two spacious, high ceiling, warmly decorated (fresh flowers in the room), clean and comfortable rooms. Large bathroom in the room. Hot water throughout the day (even wished for cold water at times). A big balcony - wonderful alternative to relax in the evening. It's just a short walk to An Bang beach (definitely one of the cleaner stretches in Hoi An). A simple, tasty and friendly restaurant is just next door. Free Wi-Fi is accessible everywhere. (this puts lots of western advanced countries to shame) - Nothing

Perfect!”
This was one of our favourite places to stay! It felt a little bit like we were in (luxury) jungle! A room was beautiful, we had a little sofa on the balcony just outside our room (in fact we had two balcony areas) which were great for chilling out. Staff were so lovely. Breakfast was delicious - smoothies were fab and we were given a smoothy on arrival too. Free bikes to use for the day and we took these on a bike ride. Great to be next to beautiful An Bang beach (5 min walk max) and Only 10 mins in the taxi to Hoi An (70,000 dong).

Lovely stay”
We had a lovely time in An Bang and we were very well treated by the staff. Room is pretty big, clean and well ventilated. If you are going to An Bang I recommend you to stay in here if you get the chance. Only 2 blocks from the beach and 10 min drive from Hoi An town. We will be back one day!

Perfect lovation & Clean room”
Very good location to the an bang beach, to the delicious dining place like Soul kitchen, Felina. The cam an town atmosphere was warm and it has a balcony then you can dry your laundry. Room condition was very good (no worms) except it is too dark. Welcome juice will be given.

Sunset Village is run by a very friendly family. Hue, the young english speaking son, was particularly sweet and helpful. So, if you're looking for a friendly atmosphere and a clean, well-located, comfy guesthouse, don't hesitate to stay here. (But take your laundry elsewhere; their service is not reliable.) Marie

Just perfect”
Everything was perfect. The welcome drink I had was the best drink ever in my life. Beach is nearby so you can walk, the homestay will provide you lots of towers with beautiful status and shape(First time I saw the host, he was going to dry laundries-towels and maybe bedsheets- under the sunlight). Hosts were kind and friendly. The room is clean and well designed, even room key was cute. Believe me, you will never forget this stay if you stay here, and I will visit there again if I could visit nearby again.

Not as good as the reviews”
Nice rooms, and the location is close to the beach. We stayed for three nights, and we checked in early without a fee. The breakfest was alright, their restaurant at the beach was not good. Would recommend the fishermans instead. The second day our room was not cleaned, we asked for some toiletpaper and water that we were promised would be left outside our room, which they forgot. We rented a bike and the engine sounded terrible. After 20 minutes we had a flat tire in the country side, where no one spoke english. After 1.5 hours in the heat we found someone that could fix the bike. It was only 50k vnd, but when we returned the bike the homestay said that we broke the bike. It was 4 tiny holes in the tire, and the motorbike rental place had put there phonenumber on the bike, so to us it seemed like it a scam. (Make tiny holes in the tire, fill it up with air, so that we eventually have to call them). We got no refund for the service, and ended up paying for the repair.
