The Front Desk Personnels are very approachable and respectful. ”
Front Desk Personnels are friendly and approachable. Despite of their difficulty to speak in english, they still able to manage to engage with foreign guests. Location is very convenient, near in the subway station, family mart or seico convenient stores. Our room is always clean. They have assigned housekeeper to clean the room everyday. Overall, the hotel is higly recommended to all travellers who would want to explore Sapporo Japan. Kudos! to ANA Crowne Plaza

Nice Hotel”
Nice hotel, sweet house keeper, nice location!! Room which has renovation is super nice. But some rooms might not have renovation yet which is a little bit old with smell of cigarette. Overall, this hotel is excellent. I've already recommended ANA Crowne Plaza Sapporo to my friends.

Great location & convenience”
I arrived in Sapporo via a free shuttle bus provided by a resort hotel at Lake Toya. The drop off point was just outside Sapporo JR Train Station and it was snowing heavily and temperature was below zero degree. It was impossible to walk on surface road. We got into train station and walk thru underground walkway. To our surprise, the hotel is right outside exit 21. The hotel room has great view of the city, we enjoyed the view of snowing from our room. The room may be small for western standard, but quite spacious for Japanese standard. We enjoyed the breakfast on level 24 with great city view and the Japanese set breakfast was fantastic. There are many good Japanese Reataurants around the hotel and walking distance to many tourist attractions like the Odori Park, clock tower and Former Hokkaido Government Office Buidling, Hokkaido University, etc. We took the last suttle bus to Chitose Airport at 3.30pm and arrived at about 7pm due to heavy snowing, it costs us only 1000 yen per head (again very cheap for Japanese Standard). The hotel's great location provided hassle free transfer to many other Hokkaido tourist attractions, including airport tranfer.

Pleasant hotel with a great location ”
Value for money in terms of location and convenience. Room a touch small but pleasant and manageable. Approximately 7 min walk from JR station through underground path. Head for subway exit 21 and ANA hotel is right before you. For those averse to lugging their baggage, there is an airport shuttle bus-stop right outside of the hotel. Pretty handy especially when its 0 degree and pouring snow outside. Incidentally exit 21 will lead to an underground mall where food are readily available. Forget about making your way to the Ramen Alley somewhere in Sususkino if ramen is what you want. Just head down the underground mall and look for Seiryu Noodle shop along Food Alley. They have the best ramen noodle in all of Sapporo. Also try and avoid lunch hour unless you are prepared to queue half an hour or so to secure a seat.

Good location”
Its a 5min walk to JR Sapporo which is a good place for quick meals before taking the train elsewhere. It was nice to be able to leave luggages at the reception between our two reservations while we spent one night at an onsen hotel, and the cloak room for shorter periods of time. Convenience store on level 1. Good teppanyaki restaurant in hotel. Small rooms but clean and toiletries were well stocked. Airport limo bus goes right to the hotel too.

Nice stay at the ANA Sapporo”
This hotel was comfortable and spacious, and is well positioned in the heart of Sapporo. The room was very large, given what I had been told of Japanese hotel rooms. Very good rate via Agoda. I did not see much of the in-building restaurants etc, but there are plenty of excellent restaurants and bars in the local area.

Awesome hotel”
Very conveniently located near Sapporo station. The concierge staff are amazing! They help us in booking all our day trips at the last minute as we did not plan anything beforehand. The hotel room is well equipped and simply awesome to stay here during my trip to Hokkaido! Strongly recommend!

Good location, small room”
The hotel is conveniently located at the Toho Line Sapporo Station, with a 8-10 minutes walk underground to the JR Sapporo Station. However, the hotel itself, though well maintained, is rather dated and desperately needs some upgrading. We stayed in a Standard Twin Room which had 2 double beds. One bed was up against the wall and there was only a 12" gap in between the two beds. On the other side of the second bed, there is only 2' before you hit the window. The space at the foot of the bed can only let one person pass through at a time. I suggest that they do not put 2 double beds in such a small room. If they were twin beds, the room would be much more spacious, and at least they can put in a night table in between the beds. We went downstairs for a coffee and was charged 800 Yen. I later saw a poster that hotel guest get a discount and should only be charged 300 Yen. The waitress didn't even ask us if we were staying there. All in all we had a decent stay at ANA, but I will probably book a larger room next time.

Excellent location; excellent restaurant in vicini”
No complaints. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Sapporo. For beer drinker, turn right of hotel and there is a Yakitori restaurant (same building as Richmond Hotel)that offers free flow of beer for 120 minutes at 890 yen. Good food to go with and staff speaks excellent English. Added benefit - strong wifi signals from Richmond Hotel that shares the same building. Go for it.

A good hotel”
While it may not be the most preferred choice of travellers due to its geographical locatiin, ANA Hotel Sapporo is just five to ten minutes walk to the JR Station Complex. Just a few blocks away, there is a crab restaurant that is a must-try for king crab lovers.

Everything is good except Massage center. ”
Very good. convenient. I really enjoyed my stay at ANA Hotel. But massage center at 1st floor is useless. They refused to provide massage service arbitrarily.

I like this hotel”
Nice location, easy to walk, approximately 10-15 mins, to many interesting places such as train station, the malls, Sapporo TV tower, Odori park, fish market and so on. Also, staffs are very friendly and helpful.

Comfortable stay in a great location”
Stayed at the ANA on route to skiing. Stay was comfortable and easy. Location is unbeatable with convenient access to transportation, dining, shopping and major tourist spots. Hotel room is functional although small. Staff are friendly and a couple can speak an adequate level of English.

Nice hotel, small room, close to JR/subway station”
It's a nice/decent hotel with reasonable pricing. The room is really small though. It's very close to the subway and JR station. Almost walking distance to downtown (park/ramen area). It's probably 20 min walk (2 stations away) totally doable in spring, summer or fall. Good services, overall good but I was only there for one night.

Good stay, small room but that's Japan!”
We stayed at the ANA when we came to Sapporo for the Ice Festival. We actually spent little time in the hotel as we were out sight-seeing and snowboarding. Not the most spacious room but again we were not there to lay around. Friendly staff and close to the subway that you can pretty much walk anywhere from underground.

Convenient location”
It's 40 years old hotel. However, you can have very good location in Sapporo city. You can take either JR, bus or subway to other cities or inside downtown. The pricing is reasonable and it's clean enough compare with US and Europe hotels if base on the same price.

Good location and value for money.”
Comfortable. Housekeeping is little bit slow. Frequent buses to and from the airport. Next to the subway and train station to the airport. 24 hours convenience store in the hotel. Coffee shop and many restaurants in the hotel. Three minutes walk to one department store, which is connected by underground shopping malls to many department stores ans shopping center and the Sapporo JR train station and three subway lines.

Not for the price”
You can get better hotels with much bigger rooms for way cheaper price in Sapporo. For a 4 star hotel, cannot even pack breakfast for us when we have to check out early morning. This is the 1st hotel I have used in my 30 years of travel who refused to pack us breakfast when we have to check out early. Not even a simple buns or cakes. We only request for buns and cakes or biscuits. But the staff refused us on the spot upon checking in.
