Stayed at Ananda whilst completing my open water diving course! Highly recommend! Felt safe, nice staff and clean room! Perfect location as it's right next to the beach and a few steps away from Breeze restaurant which is very social and great food!

Value for Money”
Good convenient location, you can walk from the jetty. Room was clean and had a hot shower. The Breezes restaurant on site was perfect anytime of day with a wide variety of food to choose from. I found Ananda a convenient location on Ko Tao.

Ananda is part of a Diving School and offers comfy/clean rooms. restaurant has a good variety of food and drinks (western oriented). opposite of ananda is a 2nd restaurant (local Thai) which belongs to them aswell. location is perfect & staff is friendly and supportive

One of best budget stays ever”
Just 2 mins walk from the pier. Market starts right outside the hotel. Being so close to the town, one would expect it be bustling outside, but to our surprise it was really calm & pleasant outside. Clean beach just few steps walking from the room. And the restaurant is also great (a bit pricey but still worth the taste)

Perfect hotel for a stay on Koh Tao”
Great hotel! It's less than 100 meters from the pier, close to a bunch of restaurants and a 7-eleven. The bed was comfortable and the airconditioning quiet. The best tip I can give you is eating at Pranee's Kitchen, for breakfast as well as dinner. It's right across the hotel, cheap and great quality with a lot of options.

Great location very close to the pier but not noisy at all. Very clean and spacious rooms with a great seaview. Very helpful staff, provided us with a scooter, diving equipment, tickets to Bangkok, and took care of the shipping after I forgot my phone in the room.

Just few min walk from ferry, room was clean and spacious. Ac and wifi worked. Pretty big balcony but wish they had privacy dividers with nearby balconies. Right on the beach, can hear waves at night

Nice big room between the pier and beach resorts”
+ Big, comfortable, well decorated room with big balcony. Friendly helpful staff. Right on the beach. Quiet area, yet round the corner from the small town around the pier. Nice restaurant on the compex. 5-10 minute walk to strip with bars, clubs, restaurants. Room made up every day. - bit pricey (but worth it I think). some ants in room. Couldn't get warm water in the afternoon.

Really nice restaurant opposite rooms, the do start playing music at 8am. :( 10 min walk to the main area for bars and food but also have a lot of places to go in the port area.

Really nice, comfortable, big, clean rooms with large balconies. Well located close to the pier and town, about a 10 minute walk to the strip of beach bars to the north and a bit further to Sairee. Can walk out straight on to the beach. Nice, helpful staff. Paid about 30gbp a night so not the cheapest but good for what you get. Nice upmarket restaurant on site (Breeze), and a cheaper one just next door. Laundry service for a reasonable price. Only issued were ants appearing around the toilet occasionally and difficulty getting hot water in the evenings.

Great location! ”
The room was very clean, right on the beach, a few meters away from the « action » and steps away from the pier. Would definitely recommend, we had a wonderful time. The only downside is that it can get a little noisy in the morning and at night because of the restaurant next to the hotel but the music stops around 11pm and the restaurant doesn’t open until 9:30am. The staff was super helpful and available.

The staff is great and it is truly the best location for Koh Tao. You're near the piers and the walking path to night life. Right on the beach. Could use some updating but otherwise it is great.

Location is very nice for me, I can go hotel by walk from pier just 10mins, very close to 7-11, Motorbike rental. In the hotel, there is a nice restaurant “BREEZE” and I recommend every one to try.

Best Hotel to Stay if you are on budget tour, Next to the Mae Haad Pier where the Boats arrives from Chumphon and Suratthani, The rooms with ocean view are great deal. Rooms are clean with basic amenities , All facilities like ATM, 7/11, Eateries, Tour Operators, Food joints Markets are with in minutes of walk, They also have collaborated restaurant with in the hotel for in room dining services, but sitting at restaurant watching boats, and ocean view is better option, Sky in the evening looks really amazing when sun sets.

Staff were friendly but unhelpful. They quoted a higher than market price for arranging a return longtail boat ride to nang yuan, as well as combined ferry/bus tickets. They recommended to get food at the nearby restaurant, however tasted terrible and juices weren’t fresh. Location is close to the pier but not sairee beach. Facilities need upgrading. No chair or safe in the room. Bedsheets weren’t entirely clean either.

Convenient but tired room”
Conveniently located just 2 minute walk from main Ferry terminals but lacking in a few basic essentials - only 1 bedside table, minimal tea and coffee facilities with broken kettle and plug socket not near kettle. Bed although large was very hard and uncomfortable - neither of us slept because of this. For the room rate we would of expected much better facilities.

lovely hotel, great service”
I've been stayed at the Ananda Hotel for a week as I had to finished my scuba diving course from the Master Divers and I can just walk from Ananda to the master diver shop in about 5-10 mins.. also a lot of nice restaurant around. which mean you don't have to get rip off by the taxi all the time.. it might not look posh but its clean and got a big rain shower.. the bed is comfy enough, you can also hang your clothes at the big balcony as well.. if you are looking for a nice friendly service, clean, room is not so small with a fair price I'd recommended this hotel.. hope my review could help.. thanks Agoda for a great deal.
