Good Value for money”
Affordable to stay but far from beach and market.
Just Ok for sleeping just don't leave food without sealed container”
If you are only looking for a cheap place to sleep overnight, I would recommend the place. Their mattress was thin and there was no television. The lights also flickered when we turned on the air conditioner, although there is a bright lampshade that you can use. Unfortunately, when we went to Bantayan Island, most of the resorts we wished to stay were fully booked. And so we decided to book a place that we can stay overnight. When we arrived at the place we met Myline who was accommodating. But too bad that the guy staff assigned for the night shift was her extreme opposite. When we arrived at the place after our whole day activity, our room had so many ants because of the food I left on the wall rack. I approached the guy to ask for assistance about the infestation but he just gave a comment that I shouldn't leave food inside the room and did not think of assisting me. He just offered me a broom after I proactively asked for insecticide which they don't have.Still I did the cleaning
very near beach
A home away from home”
This is probably the best place we've been to as a family. Its significant location makes it very accessible to the beach, and vendors, where we can buy mineral water (hulog-piso), eggs, and fresh catch of the day. The area is quite peaceful, except for times when the nearby videoke is used (usually at night). Pros: ▪️Nearby stores ▪️5-minute walk to and from the beach ▪️15-minute ride to and from the pier ▪️Nearby stores Cons ▪️Our family bungalow didn't have chairs. We were able to borrow 2, but 1 had to be taken away because the kitchen needed it. ▪️The property lacked perimeter lights, especially at the back end near our huts. The only light source would be the one coming from our rooms. I think this is necessary for security.
This place left a bitter aftertaste. On one hand this hotel's location is good (beachline near ferry terminal) and the room was cosy. But on the other - inner territory there looks kind of depressing, it begs for more green/ decoration. And also though local staff there was friendly, we had couple of times when we couldn't buy water at the bar, because the person with authority to sell drinks was away...
Had a Fun, Easy and Comfortable Stay”
PROS: - Affordable room rates and drinks - Clean room and bathroom - Very hospitable and accommodating staff - Complementary drink upon arrival - Free use of pool table CONS: - Need to ride a tricycle/motorcycle going to Sta. Fe town proper, where most restaurants and establishments are located - Not beach front - Average Wifi connection
The owner of the hostel is very accomodating... the rooms are big enough and the comfort room is very clean.
Super mababait ang mga staffs nila and very accommodating ”
Wala akong masabi regarding sa services. 5⭐️
Value for money”
The place is far from the town proper and near the Santa Fe Pier. It didnt become a problem to us since we hired a motorcycle that we used to tour around. Facilities are basic but all are in good condition. They also allowed us to check in early. Jay, im not sure if he's the owner, helped us to open the locked door using hammer and flat screw as we have left our room keys inside. There should have been a duplicate key instead. The girls in the front desk and the guy around are very well accomodating and helpful.
It’s was adequate
Not really worth it...”
The place is clean enough and felt new but the bed was awful. It is pretty far to most things, there are actually much better places for cheeper prices so if you can avoid this place you should! The girl at the reception was pretty helpful tho, the best thing about the place was her even tho we’ve found out that she withheld some information to get us to buy a trip from a guy. Most annoying was that tricycle driver who spent his time there and always tried to sell us stuff, or my boyfriend stuff, I wasn’t worth talking to it appeared. Don’t trust him! He lied to us, telling us that we couldn’t do things and then changing his mind when we said that we knew we could... choose some one els if you want a trip or tour! In short, not worth the money!
Good place to stay”
No beach front but its cheap and clean and is a good place to stay.
the Place is very simple, The Room was nor cleaned for days, Toilet didnt work several times ! Staff is friendly. Place needs some improvement.
new & budget resort.”
room new & brighten. with small balcony can enjoy the sun. only 2 mins walk to the nice beach. but no hot water & a lot of ants. Anyway I recommend ANANETS RESORT for budget tourist.
Stayed in Family Bungalow ”
The price I booked at agoda was quite reasonable. The room has no air conditioner but has a mist fan which functioned the same. The room has its own toilet. The room was clean enough too. Just a recommendation, it would be nicer if there would be rags or doormats, especially at the toilet's door. The mattress and the pillows seemed old but it was okay for us. We did not expect much from the cheap price we paid. The location is quite far from the center of Sta. Fe but tricycles are available at 20 pesos per person. Sirge, the owner, was quite nice and accommodating. I just thought that he could have interacted with his guests more. XXX
Worth the choose.
Very practical amenities ”
Nipa huts, yes we dream to stay in one during beach holidays, there was a mosquito net but somehow it was irritating how mosquitoes still manage to get in. Bed foam was very thin so it’s not very comfortable bed also. Shower heater is working well and the fan has mist and that cools off the air which is good. Very close to the beach, about 3-minute walk. We were also very happy to have extended our stay for another night but regretted that we paid with cash (because it was a bit cheaper) because ATM not money exchanges are not very dependable in this island. So we recommend to use online payments as much as possible so you wouldn’t run out of cash like we did so it was 20km back and forth we travelled to Bantayan Town proper to withdraw from an ATM and that consumed our half-day already.
New place near a beautiful beach”
New place right behind more expensive beach hotels with very friendly intelligent couple owners - offering free drinks and nice food twice. The beach is pure white soft sand with calm clear waters normally and sometimes a lifeguard but its shallow and safer than most. Some shade too so good for kids. It is North of the pier so further from Santa Fe town and its connections but I did walk the whole way once, partly along the beach. Its on Bantayan Island so connections to ferries, electricity and Internet are not 100% reliable !
Super acccomodating staff and the room we stayed in was so clean. Though we prefer to book on a fan room only, it was still so comfortable to sleep there. And the price is so affordable for DIY budget travelers. It was worth spending specially that the staffs will give you some tips on where to go where to eat and they will contact a vehicle for you to have an easy ride. Thanks ananets!
Staff are great but the food is a bit lacking. We ordered food for dinner but they only have few available.
