Fahmee, May, Sunny and the rest of the team really made us feel welcomed and the service was exceptional. The room was better than we expected and was sad to leave. My friend and I stayed here for a couple of days. It was so quiet and so calm, I really enjoyed everything about it! we stayed in Anantara for our honeymoon, in a deluxe room with own pool, even the weather was rainy, our overall staying was quite pleasent, room was amazing, staff was extremely helpful. hotel is not cheap at all but it is a premium one eventually

In my opinion, one of the best resort in Samui. Good location and close to the beach. We love the pool villa room. Pricey though but worth it. Staff there are super friendly and helpful. Bronji, who was assigned to us made our stay very personalised and memorable. Breakfast choice is ok but could improve with some changes everyday.

The hotel is beautiful, but it has some remarks. Access to the rooms by golf car, and the many zigzags and elevations in its location is not suitable for the elderly, and there are no dishes and options for eating, and weakness in the Wi-Fi network.

My husband i went for the first time to Anantara Lawana Koh Samui, the hotel was such a paradise. The staff was soo friendly, the rooms were clean and lovely, the bed was comfortable, the food and cocktails were fantastic. Breakfast was super. The swimming pool is in front of the ocean so the view is amazing. The hotel offers free kayaking as well. The waters were soo calm my husband and i went kayaking around an island close by. It was soo relaxed and peaceful. Only 10 mins from the airport and 5 mins town. I would highly recommend this hotel and we would definitely go back again. We had the time ever!!

Gorgeous hotel in a wonderful setting”
this was our first time staying at the anantara lawana hotel chain. this particular hotel was so beautiful and the setting it was in was gorgeous with the beach and the gardens. we were booked into a room which was not ideal for me as i had a broken leg and our room was up a flight of stairs. after some discussion we were moved into a ground room with its own pool so we were very happy with this. the staff in the hotel complex were all very nice and friendly, except we did strike one of the reception staff as not being competent in english and she put us wrong with the ferry timetable from koh samui to koh tao. luckily we asked to speak to another receptionist who put us right on this and we booked our ferry tickets through her. this second receptionist was very apologetic to us about how experience with the initial receptionist. our room was huge, and so lovely and clean. we had an outside bathroom which you could access the pool from via french doors. the restaurant where we had our breakfast was on the beach which was gorgeous to eat at. all in all we would gladly stay here again, and this time for a longer period of time.

world class. like something from a movie...”
this place is a total high-roller mecca. we've stayed at a few other places for a similar price in koh samui, and this place takes them all down. no competition. we stayed at the slightly more expensive pool-access villas, and man... waking up... opening the big sliding doors- seeing a massive private pool (shared only by 5 other villas around it)... taking the steps into the massive pool... or lounging on the luxurious private deck connecting your villa to the pool... seriously, this place is like something from a movie. i've stayed at many world-class hotels all over the world, and this was by far one of the finest. if you can afford this place, you won't walk away sore. sometimes... some things are truly worth the premium price. and this place qualifies. the rest of the hotel (pools, beach, etc)... all top tier. as good as it gets. but back to your own room... seriously, it's so serene, elegant, and classy... you won't want to spend a minute away from it. by far the best place i've stayed at in koh samui, and i've spent many months here now, trying one resort/hotel after another.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at Anantara Lawana. We got a free upgrade to a pool suite room, which was just perfect! The service was great... And the staff were always friendly. It's conveniently located a short walk / drive away from the centre of Chaweng beach, so you still feel isolated without being too far away. We would definitely go back :)
