Found this hotel convient with charm”
I liked this old hotel quite a bit. The rooms are a step back in time but still well maintained and cozy. The breakfast is good, the staff is attentive and the location, close to market, pier and downtown all at the same time, is great. I don't care about how close I am to a mall. I rather be in the older vibrant part of town where stepping out means experiencing the city. So make this your place for that experience!

Across from the Public market which was nice to visit and easy access to Tricycle‘s to go up to the Malls. Also easy walk to Queen tuna park which is nothing really to look at. As a negative it’s very quiet late at night and difficult to get transportation if you want to go out anywhere.

Booked for 2 nights but only spent a night in this hotel and moved elsewhere. I couldn’t sleep for the whole night and it’s really weird (been always a solo traveller) .This hotel is located just across the public market and the area is busy and loud during daytime. If you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing stay this hotel is not recommended. Clogged shower head, stained bedsheets, and dusty room floor. My room is huge and that’s really nice but the ac couldn’t fill the whole room. Staff are friendly that’s the only part I liked in this hotel.

Staffs weren't accomodating and very disrespectful. They weren't well-oriented on how to talk and behave in front of costumers. Toiletries were incomplete and rooms are very prone to noises from the outside. I'm very unpleased.

I only spent a night there so here's my observation/review. Pros: - It isn't hard to find - Hotel looks fairly new - Complimentary fruits when I arrive at the hotel (that's a major plus) - GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE - Room is huge and looks nice - Wifi is pretty decent - Good breakfast choices - Overall, the place looks and feel clean CONS: - I think your air conditioning unit need an upgrade? - Bathroom needs a makeover or at least the shower (just looks a lil bit dirty) - Location of the hotel (near the city's market place so you'll hear a bit of the noise from the outside and mind you I'm on the 4th flr of the hotel) Major ups to the people working there! :) They made me feel that it was a good choice that I booked the hotel.

Fortunate and glad to book this hotel. Fastest wifi! Better than my cellular data. Free Shuttle pick up from aiport to hotel and vice versa. Breakfast is adequate. Room is super clean and lay out is patterned to a cruise ship. In the market section of the city so dining out is a breeze! This will be my choice of hotel in Gensan! P.S. Staff are very friendly and willing to help or at service.

...I cannot understand, why they don‘t pay someone to clean the room perfectly, with low wages and lots of people looking for labor on Mindanao? For example the water tap was full of toothpaste from not only the previous guests, but also from the guests before them and most likely a lot more. In the hall, close to our room, were super dirty footprints on the floor. When I looked at the door, it said „staff only“ on the plate. Seriously? Additionally the elevator and the stairway hall were smelly. And they even use the guest hall as a storage space for old mattresses. Finally their watery breakfast „juice“ probably is not made from mineral water, at least I had a food poison afterwards but of course cannot be sure where it came from. However, they were still better than others I tried in the region. I saw hotel suites at the same or even much higher prices in the region that had awful smelling restrooms and stuff like that. So the ants in the restroom are not even worth mentioning. A downside was that the shower hat nothing in between „cold“ and „hot“. The bedroom however was great, maybe despite that cracked window. The roomsafe is the best I’ve ever seen in a hotel, not those cheap ones where you just need to shake out the batteries to open them. However their airport shuttle does not go on holidays without any prior notice (no one goes to the airport on holidays or what?!). We had the Admiral Suite, other rooms might differ.

Extremely impressed with this hotel. Screaming fast internet compared to other properties I have been even in Manila. Staff super friendly and helpful. Close to SM mall and not very far from the other malls as well.

Affordable Hotel and Friendly staff”
Staff are very welcoming and friendly, they even gave us fresh watermelon upon our arrival. Rooms are very spacious although CR in our room has a distinct smell. Water flow is poor. We feel our room door's not really secured as it only has one lock (the one in the door knob). They offer breakfast buffet although food choices are only few. Hotel also offers shuttle service to the airport.

Good Location but”
The hotel overall has a good ambiance. It was clean and quiet. Staff was nice and helpful. However, some of the facilities in the room were broken ( i.e. broken shower doors, water seeping through bathroom tiles). There was also a lack of outlets in the bedroom that was available for charging electronic devices. Management should look into doing repairs and or reconfiguration of rooms to better address client needs.

The good thing is the room is so spacious and they have also the free shuttle to pick you up and taking you to the airport. However, the room is a bit dusty which the maintenance personnel lacks training in proper cleanliness as the edges of the bed are dusty. It's renovated Hotel. Wifi so slow and in-fact I wasn't able to connect it. Take note also this hotel is not providing toothbrush and toothpaste. Overall it's fine.

Location is noisy and not nice to walk around but it is easy to get to SM mall. Shower has low pressure. Had to go outside the hotel for timely laundry service and there was no printing service available. I will come back because of the convenient location, great staff and large room size.

Very near on the city's public market which was good for us as we get to go around there to buy stuff to take home with us while it also means that the area has very high foot traffic. The staffs were friendly too. The accommodation however was a bit disappointing because it seems really old and in need of some renovation and care. Walking around the corridors you can really smell the oldness of the building. The AC of one of the two rooms we got were not cooling at all so we had to transfer twice before we found a room that has a cooling AC. The food in the hotel was also good and affordable. Overall, it is okay but may try other hotels in the area next time.
