Value of money.”
10-15 minutes to Ueno station. No Elevator!! You may get the 5th floor if you check in late. But you can ask for lower floor if it still available. Near very good 24 hr. supermarket around conner. There are 3 bathrooms in building, 2 on dirst floor and 1 on third floor but they also provide toilet on every floor. English speaking staff.
I liked the design of the hostel, very modern and quaint at the same time. Towels weren't provided unfortunately, but that was still acceptable. Hostel was also a few minutes walk away from Ueno station. I also wanted to make a reservation with a Japanese restaurant but didn't have a Japanese mobile number. The staff was more than willing to help me make the reservation.
Hostels need improvement. Room need to tidy up. Sandals shuld not allowed into up stairs. Different shoes for toilets. Shower room at 3rd floor need to clean up, there is fungus at door inside, outflow clog with hair and never services since i was there. Radio turn of high volume while people having dinner. Staff should more polite, friendly and not too plastic face. Staff or other tenants should not approaching other people room and plz pay respect other people by not simply turn off the light while we pack our begs. More sandals outside hotels to ease people to buy drink from vending machine. Heater shuld be install at corridor at least to make more warmer.
We had a great time staying at &Euno during last spring season at 11 Deg Celsius. I was travelling with a family member - I stayed there for 4 consecutive nights while my companion extended for another 3 nights. Breakfast is not part of the package, but that's ok as we brought our own anyway. But if you insist, they do offer free coffee/tea only. Cleanliness is always a priority here. Nice cozy room with white linen sheets with green curtains making the room more relaxing. We stayed in a room with 4 bunk beds. The room is quite small - you can hear someone staying from the other beds (in a 4-mixed room) but that's fine given our budget. Place is like 7-12 minutes walk from Ueno Station. You can see the Tokyo tower from here too. And if you want you can rent bike from them too for a fee. The area is pretty quiet. Check out pinoyexpedition dot com Japan section for more interesting details.
I will return for sure!”
I enjoyed my stayed there. The location is good 10-15 min walking to Ueno station and Asakusa station, so you have many things to see/do around. The only thing I didn't like is to not have elevator... I was in the 5F and the host was really nice to help me out with my luggage though. I appreciated that. And the internet is good.
Comfortable accommodation near train station”
This hostel is very clean with really comfortable beds. Brand new bathrooms. Just a four block walk to the Ueno Train Station and park, making it handy for transport anywhere in Tokyo. The neighborhood street is very quiet at night.
Quiet, but still easily accessible.”
Located in Ueno, it's not really near any night life areas, so it is perfect for those who prefer a little quietness at night. It is only a 5 minute walk from the Inaricho train station, giving easy access to Asakusa and Ginza. You can also walk to Ueno Park in the morning, about less than 15 minutes away on foot. Great place to see Sakura bloom. Hostel did not have an elevator, so lugging our huge backpacks up to the 5th floor was a little daunting. Other than that, it is a cozy and convenient hostel.
No elevator and dirty shower room”
I had contacted them for confirmation whether they have elevator or not but no reply. And when I checked in I found out that they don't have elevator. Poor me that bringing big luggage, I have to drag my luggage to 3rd floor. The shower room in 3rd floor was a mess. Black spots everywhere and the shower door is broken. Please note that they only have 3 shower rooms. 2 on the lobby, and 1 on the 3rd floor. Also the receptionist (male, 20-ish, eating pasta most of the evening) is not warm and nice. I don't need to be treated as king but simple smile to your guest would be sufficient. He is your hostel face in front of the guest. He could've done better.
Good value for your money.”
We had an issue during the first day. Reason being we had a late flight and arrived a little after midnight. We left a request during the booking of this place that we are going to arrive late but no one was at the reception. We didn't manage to check in and there was no emergency contact, so for those who are arriving after 11pm do call them up to double check. Otherwise, the place was good and there are a lot of eateries around. Room is large and spacious.
Nice Hostel in Japan”
The great time in Japan, I stay in the nice hostel and good location for traveling. Is close to the train station and shop, supermart. Staff have a nice service mind and welcome when I arrive in his hostel.
Hostel is very clean and modern. It is close to the train station and one stop away from Ueno (also walking distance). The neighbourhood is quiet. Room size is small but expected. The only thing you may concern is the number of shower room, sometimes you have to wait since there are only three shower rooms in total.

Everything is good”
is about 10 min walking distance from ueno station. the small double bed room is big compare to other hostel. but the pillow is too soft and is hard for us to sleep well. the bathroom is very limited. only 3 for the entire hostel. need to take some time to wait.
Thank you for your stay and we hope you enjoyed! We will make it better and better hostel. Hope to see you again!
Highly recommend this place!”
good location: easily accessible to convenience store, subway stations, and Asakusa friendly staffs: provided specific information about the room and building safety: calm and safe area state of the art: able to experience IoT
Thank you for your lovely feedback! We are alway welcome you. Hope to see you again!
Staff don’t take care.”
The staff does not care. And don’t say hello like anywhere else even at checkout. Hostel is a 15-20 minute walk from ueno station. It is inexpensive, but not worth the price. There are only 3 shared bathrooms that have to wait a long time. I traveled by train from Hokkaido to the hostel at 11.30 am. I lost 1000 yen when checking in late. I never met, but there was a notice in the hotel agreement. I know when I check in late. Otherwise, I will not book this place because there is a hotel nearby. I do not recommend for people with large pockets because there are no escalators.
was spending time at this hostel”
I was visited Tokyo to try how suburb do to get their work, to get their lunch, to get their train on time, to go on meeting and so and so, this hostel is good for that condition. cause you will feel the atmosphere like other Japanese man who lived in Tokyo and have to walk down the street to get to the station/metro and back from the office to get home. this is good enough. but, no elevator for this hostel. I hope you can make some improvement for the elevator, and the front desk. the front desk is poor. but over all good
No hot water at 5 am?”
It didn't have hot water for shower at 5-6 am? I know it is too early but I was willing to shower at that time before leaving for my flight. The other places I stay in JP always has hot water at any time... just that is still be my question until now, didn't have chance to ask to them since I went to stayed only a night because I had early morning flight from Narita airport and there's convenience to go to Ueno station which has airport sky train station.
I did not enjoy my stay here, the staff was all the time playing music, drinking, eating and cooking with their friends at the only common space, guests felt no welcome to use. The cleanliness of the kitchen was not good. dorms cramped. I would not return . No social at all.
Lack of room space for 4 people and insufficient storage for luggage.
The room are quite small but really clean. The staffs are nice and friendly. It's 10-15 minutes walking from the hostel to Ueno station.
