"No regrets! The very first info I checked prior to booking our stay was the wifi, since my husband and I were on working holiday mode. It was fast and stable! We aren't divers, but we're always up for good reviews, thus, we booked them! Their food was awesome - big serving and delicious! It was a sweet surprise after knowing that we can also visit their sister company, Anda White Beach Resort, all for FREE (except for the transpo going there)!!! Free use of their swimming pool and you can relax at the beach with its breathtaking view. Not to mention their swimming pools (both in Blue Star and Anda White) are well-maintained. The rooms are clean and spacious. Their employees are courteous; always smiling - always ready to assist. We had an awesome stay! I highly recommend this resort and we'll definitely come back! :)"

"A place that I loved for his photos and for that reason I chose to spend two of our 15 days in the Philippines When you arrive and ask for the password to connect the first sentence they tell us is that if you have iPhone the Wi-Fi does not work which we chose this hotel for its Wi-Fi offer We sat down to snack on something, we left the hotel for a walk and to get back to his interest in eating again in his restaurant was quite striking One last point that caught our attention was that they did not let food or a simple drink into the room, something that I had never seen in a Hotel telling you that you can not enter food to not attract the attention of the bugs when the funny thing is that Hotel owner is in the bungalow next door having dinner The staff is friendly "

As you stroll through the charming streets of Anda, you’ll encounter a rich tapestry of local culture. Traditional fishing villages, lively markets, and local festivals showcase the area's heritage and community spirit. Unveiling the Best Time to Experience Anda

Planning your trip to Anda requires a bit of insight into the weather patterns and peak seasons. The best time to visit Anda is typically during the dry season, which spans from November to May. During these months, you can expect plenty of sunshine, making it ideal for beach activities and outdoor adventures. The warm temperatures and gentle breezes create a pleasant atmosphere for exploring the natural beauty of the area.

While the dry season attracts many tourists, the months of June to October can also be a good time to experience Anda. Although this period marks the rainy season, showers are often brief and interspersed with sunny intervals. This means you can enjoy a quieter experience, as fewer tourists flock to the area. Plus, the lush greenery surrounding Anda is at its most vibrant during this time, enhancing the scenic views.

In addition to weather considerations, local events can enrich your travel experience. Festivals such as the Fiesta de Anda in June celebrate local culture with music, dance, and delicious food, offering visitors an authentic taste of Boholano traditions. Timing your visit to coincide with these events can provide a unique insight into the community's spirit and customs.

Travel Tips for an Unforgettable Anda Adventure

To ensure a memorable trip to Anda, being aware of local customs and practicalities is key. First, familiarize yourself with the local currency, which is the Philippine Peso (PHP). While many establishments accept credit cards, carrying cash is advisable for smaller shops and markets. This allows you to fully immerse yourself in the local experience, especially when purchasing handmade souvenirs or trying street food.

Understanding local customs can also enhance your interactions with the friendly residents of Anda. Filipinos are known for their hospitality, and a simple greeting or smile can go a long way. Try to learn a few basic phrases in Filipino—a warm “Salamat” (thank you) or “Magandang araw” (good day) can create a positive connection with locals. Additionally, respecting local traditions and being mindful of cultural practices will be appreciated by the community.

Safety is another important aspect to consider while exploring Anda. The area is generally safe for tourists, but it’s always wise to remain vigilant. Keep an eye on your belongings, especially in crowded areas, and avoid wandering alone at night in unfamiliar places.
