Great hotel and service with a smile”
i was suprised with the room we had compared to the amount we paid. the hotel room was spacious. eventhough there is a construction work beside the hotel,it does not effect our stay at andakira hotel. the distance to patong beach, bangla street & jungceylon shopping centre was jus 10 to 15mins walk. we enjoyed our stay there. will choose andakira hotel again if we are heading to phuket again. not forgetting the friendly hotel staffs who always attend to our doubts during our stay there. thumbs up for the hotel staffs.
Fresh hotel, quiet location.”
We went to Andakira on the basis of reviews on this site, and were wary in relation to comments on where it was located. We found the location was great as it was close to the major shopping centre & about a 8-10 minute walk to the main strip for street markets & the beach. Getting to the beach was fine & we found that it was safe enough to walk, however as you probably know, expect traffic - you are in busy Patong. The hotel is completely noise free due to it's distance to Patong central. Our room came with a free breakfast, which was amazing and kept us going all day. The building itself is brand new, the pool is nice and the staff were helpful after we established a rapport with them. Personally, we would give this hotel a 9/10 - the only downsides we can both think of is expensive private cars to and from the resort, but that can be easily resolved due to the number of people eager to get you from a to b (tuk tuks & taxis). We ordered room service once, and never again. It was cold and terrible - but places around Patong are open until all hours for food so that wasn't a huge problem. Definitely recommend staying at this hotel & we look foward to coming back soon!!!
Several hitches but overall satisfactory”
This was by far the busiest 'relaxing' holiday we've ever had that started upon arrival. We arrived very early in the morning due to our flights and, understandably, our room wasn't ready but the reception was happy to keep our luggage in safe storage while we explored. The Andakira is about 15 minutes walk away from Patong Beach and a little less from Bangla Road. The Jungceylon shopping mall is nearer, about 5 mins away. On our return to the hotel, however, we were informed that due to a leak, our room would not be available that day and the Manager had arranged alternative accomodation at the Graceland Resort for the night. In brief, the Graceland Resort was a little more upscale than the Andakira but, IMHO, a little aged. However their pool was nice and they are literally across the road from the beach. Back at the Andakira, we had been upgraded to a pool access room for our troubles and given a complementary set dinner which was an added bonus! We were very impressed with how the Manager handled the situation. The Andakira room was spotless and had sufficient room for 3 adults (we booked a 3-bed hotel room) but does lack some of the luxuries seen in a more expensive place. Having 96 tv channels, mostly in Thai, was quite entertaining. The hotel is NOT beachfronted but there are several shuttle services a day to the beach and back but it's not that much of a walk anyway. The pool would not be something I'd use as a draw point but the pool access from the room was fun! Overall, we felt that the hotel was decent value for the price even if we had not had the big adventure of transferring and upgrade. More suited for young adults who want to be in Patong without having to be right in the centre of it than families with young children or reduced mobility.
Satisfied Muslim traveler”
Stayed here for 5 days. Overall satisfied with the staff, service, facilities & cleanliness of the hotel. As a muslim traveler, it is very chalenging to find halal food. But if u stayed in Andakira Hotel, halal food is almost evrywhere. Just a walking distance from the hotel (Banzaan market). So dont worry you wont get starve. Patong beach is merely 15mins walking or u may take hotel shuttle and the service is free. Special thanks to staff name LIZA for making our check in process smooth & easier. Keep up the good work! Will definately recommend Andakira to my family&friends.
Cool”
It was a enjoyable stay in Andakira during my holiday. They took care of all-round needs of the customers, and you can even rent ur motorbike there. The price they offer is reasonable and the room they provide is totally worth the money I paid. The hygiene condition was very good, and you can see that from the surface of every object in the room. Moreover, the room has the great pillow which I had my best sleep on. Though i could not see the sea directly since it was about a mile away,I did love the location because it is quite near to the bar-street, the local-food street and the beach. In addition, you might want to try the drinks provided by the hotel restaurant, especially the fruit juice. Eventually, the hotel kinda make my holiday in phuket wonderful and unforgettable.
Great hotel and excellent hospitality and feeling just like at home”
This was my 3rd time staying same hotel in all my 3 trips to Phuket. In 2010, 2013 and now 2018. Great hospitality from all the hotel staffs, comfortable stay with great security just like staying at home are the reasons of my come back to same hotel whenever I go Phuket. I hope with my loyalty to Andakira, I could get special rates in my next trip again to Phuket staying again at Andakira.
Pool, comfortable, shopping, location ”
We stayed at Andakira twice on our time in Phuket. It was a great hotel, the pool is a good size, good for our two year old, as the children's pool is connected to the main pool, so you can closely watch and be on guard while they play. Our room was big. We had a deluxe room, so plenty of room for relaxing. Hotel is close to a lot of restaurants, the Indian restaurant right outside has good food, and the hotel provide a shuttle to the beach, if you do want to go to the beach end. The Jocelyn mall is a 10 minute walk because they are working on the road, once it's finished it will only take 5 minutes, you can walk anywhere, we had a stroller and still got around with no real issues. After a busy day shopping you have a sanctuary to come home to. Buffet breakfast is good, full buffet, with ordering how you want your eggs done. DVD player in room.
Great place to stay at in Patong”
We stayed 3 nights at the Andakira hotel in Patong and we had a great time. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Internet connection is very good and FREE. The only downside is the fact that it is very unsafe to walk from the hotel to the shopping center 10 minutes walk away due to the busy road. There's no sidewalk and there's no traffic lights etc so if you want to leave the hotel you will have to take a Tuk Tuk. It's just a few minutes walk to the city and perhaps 15 minutes walk to the beach but the road outside the hotel is really really busy. They do however have a free shuttle to the beach so it's no problem to get to the beach in no time
Family getaway”
It was my second time in Andakira and just like my first visit, I love the hotel. My family enjoyed the pool so much, breakfast is good, and the shuttle going to and from Patong Beach is never late. Walking distance to Jungceylon mall and Bazaan Fresh Market. It was nice to see Sopi again. Will definitely recommend to friends, and surely I'll be coming back. Thank you Andakira.
Fine hotel with very helpful staff”
i enjoyed my stay at the andakira hotel in phuket, it is close enough without being right on top of the busy night life in patong. the service levels were very good and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. subsequently i have extended my stay here and also come back after taking a brief trip to malaysia to extend my thai visa.
great hotel with awesome outdoor entertaining area”
This was our second time staying at the Andakira, after our first experience at the hotel we had no hesitation to book another stay there. The management and staff are friendly and always willing to go out of their way to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. The hotel is located within a short 5-10minute walk to the main shopping centre and district of Patong, also a shuttle service is provided on an frequent 2hr schedule. During our stay the shuttle driver even offered to take us between the designated times as he had some spare time.
Enjoyed this hotel, pool access room was great”
enjoyed the hotel but would only stay in pool access room. this hotel is not a resort and we liked the fact that in june at least, only about 20% of the guests were westerners. being from australia, we didn't want to feel as though we were at some resort on the gold coast. staff are lovely and helpful and aok (head breakfast waiter - maybe, not sure) was lovely - he made us fruit smoothies nearly every morning and fresh ginger tea (very good for health and body and he explained why). breakfast was great - name it, they had it. the hotel was quiet and hardly ever anyone in the pool (maybe during cocktail 2 for 1 time in the afternoons). it's about 10mins from bangla rd and it was great to get away from bangla road every night and back to the quiet hotel. pool access was great as we were in the pool even after midnight after the hecticness of patong. i would stay at andakira again in pool access room but i doubt that i will stay in patong again. i don't think it's a child friendly hotel although there were a few children there (pool is on the third floor outside the building). surrounded by hotels so no views.
Enjoyable”
Had a good time staying in Phuket mainly because of the hotel. Andakira Hotel provided friendly staff. I took the private swimming pool access and i enjoyed it. 10 mins walk from the beach although theres a free shuttle service from the hotel to the beach and the hotel provides beach towels as well. The hotel is near to convenient stores, rental of bikes, tours and shopping mall.
Wonderful Hotel”
Andakira was a fantastic hotel which looks really new. The Location is great as it was within walking distances to where the buzz (Beach, Bahgla St, Jungceylon Mall) is while far enough away for the peace you'd need after an exciting day out. The Service overall was quite good for budget travel with the receptionists properly attired, attentive and most importantly, english speaking. Breakfast at the hotel was decently good although I've not tried the other meals there. The Rooms were spacious and well-lit. In fact, it seems the whole block was designed for the width of a family suite so the Double Rooms had alot of space. The Balcony was really big which had been great also to air my wet clothes. The toilet was well stocked with the necessities althou a bath-tub would have been a big bonus. I guess my greatest happiness was with the In-Room Wifi available which allowed me to maintain contact with my 'real'-world back home.
DELUXE POOL ROOM IS AWESOME ”
Been Patong 11 times and stepped outside comfort zone to experiment with new accom. Soooo glad I did as I found Andakira. This room, staff and services lived up to expectations. Scored everything a 5atar but location a 4. The reason for this is that I love Bangla Rd and it was a little walk but I did know that in advance. In saying that it was less than a klm or 10mins. I did however find a strip to party on the walk that I never knew exsisted. If you not up for less than 10min walk it only 200 in Tuk Tuk. Junceylon rear entrance only about 3min walk so location still a good 4 out of 5. I'll be going back
Awesome Stay”
We book for 1 night Honeymoon stay at Andakira. We purposely book big room with bathtub, large bed, sofa/Hall area & balcony as we will be spending our time in the hotel rather than going out. It was a great choice and far from Noise (maybe the construction already end). Were greeted by the bellboy, brought us to check in counter and showed us to waiting area with drink served. We arrive early at 12pm and were told we can only check in at 2pm which agreeable as it's already stated in the policy. But to our surprise, we were called few mins after as the room is ready. If only they served halal food for breakfast, it'll be superb for us. Nevertheless, it was a nice stay and would love to come again to Andakira.
Great Staff.!!!!”
Great rooms, great breakfast, great swimming pool. Simply love the stay at the triple room for 2 nights. Love the balconies, great view of the mountains/hills. Simply loving every single bit of Andakira. There is even WIFI which is fantastic because the connection is quick. :D If you're a couple, avoid the Pool Access, because almost every other guest are swimming pass your rooms. But great location for friends in groups to book Pool Access. Well, simply a great stay at Andakira along with very great service attitude from the staffs. (:
Great chic hotel”
it was a long road trip for me and my friend from krabi (almost 6 hours on the road) and where we were dropped off (along the main road from andakira) did not give us a good impression. upon entering andakira's lobby, we were impressed by the decor and cleanliness, and what was more impressive was the staff was very helpful - no time was wasted in checking us in, oriented us around hotel and the area surrounding us and we were upgraded to the poll access room! room was very comfortable, pool was very clean. breakfast was good and there was this night reception lady staff - she was efficient and helpful. truly was one of the best hotel i have stayed!!
Best place! We loved it!!!”
I had an amazing experience staying at Andakira hotel..I strongly recommend this hotel to all travellers... The staff are amazingly helpful... They give you advise on what to do... Breakfast is awesome... Pool is relaxing... Room cleanliness is non to 2nd... I would definitely stay there on my next trip
Book the poolside room if you are with kids”
Stayed in Andakira Hotel for 5 nights with my two young children. They loved the room by the poolside. Everything was good except for the breakfast buffet. Not many choices and the houseflies in the restaurant can be quite annoying. Got to compliment staff named Bum. She went all out to help us to book tours and made sure we had fun. It was a pleasant stay.
