Superb”
Stayed for two nights with a group of ladies- 8 in total. The level of good service is unmatched. We were upgraded to the exquisite 5* lodge thanks to Sadira-GM. It is such a beautiful place, also enjoyed the game drive with the knowledgeable Jobe. Overall experience was superb. Thank you to the entire hotel's staff for their hospitality.

We live in Mozambique and often travel to SA via Hluhluwe. This has been the 2nd time that we have stayed that the air conditioning is not working. We reported it a few times but maintenance did not arrive. Been summer and very humid our night was very hot and uncomfortable.

We enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. My kids enjoyed the pool and we appreciated the staff mannerism and the advice given to explore the Hluhluwe game reserve.

Great location for day trips into Hluhluwe Reserve”
i certainly do not want to only complain but.... the swimming pool was green and far from clean. the electrical wiring the bedroom was very questionable. there were no spare plugs in the bedroom to plug in a hair dryer. the parking for guests was very limited. we eventually had to park in a handicap parking - which i never do but this was our only option. the hotel could install a dustbin the parking area so you can empty your car on the ground level and not in your hotel room on the second level. the hotel knew we were a family of four. yet they only supplied two very small complintary sachets of milk a day. we thought that breakfast was very overpriced at about r 90.00 per person. our small kids will never eat that much food. so we walked to the wimpy down the road for breakfast. the hotel wi-fi is only available in the reception area and not in your room. the staff were very friendly and helpful. security was good. grounds were well maintained. we would return.

my stay at hluhluwe was great, however the service is dropping its standards in regards to efficiency. during the time of my stay i had to request for toiletries that should have been put in the baths daily. no coffee and teas were in the room during my stay. i stayed the same week in protea richards bay and it was amazing, everything from service to efficiency etc. thank you

Good hotel but major shortcomings ”
It's a good hotel overall, but they have some serious problems that need addressing. First major problem we encountered is that they gave me a key for the wrong room, and the room was occupied. Thankfully the occupant wasn't there at the time and I didn't notice right away until I looked into the bathroom and saw laundry hanging on the line in the shower, then after looking closer saw some luggage in the corner. Finally when we got a key to our correct room, the room is quite nice but in poor maintenance. There was part of the shower stall missing so it let water spray all over the bathroom. There is no in room wifi which is no longer competitive in the industry, no one wants to go to the lobby to use the wifi and everyone has a device or two that they want to connect. This hotel seems to have some management issues, I met him and he seems a nice guy but isn't looking after his property well.

Great Location for Kruger Park”
The hotel is well located just outside the centre of Nelspruit. The general areas of the hotel are well maintained, however the standard of the service in most areas is somewhat lacking. The buffet dinner is passable but not great and the bar is very small and without character. However if you just want a nice room and great bed for the night then its fine!

great stay , but no lifts for rooms that are upstairs, cleaning staff have to assist to carry bags. parking is also a problem as there are too few. meals were average. great that you catered for those who do not eat beef or pork . overall service was good.

Small complaints. Not enough sugar and milk for coffee in room. No fridge in room. No WiFi in room. Not enough parking. Staff need to greet more often. My company is a pet hospital group and greeting and smiling should be second nature.
