      TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Beware - if anything g”
      My husband and I stayed at Angelo by Vienna House in Munich for 3 nights, with breakfast included in our room rate. Upon check-in, a staff member advised us that we could eat breakfast. The staff member did not mention a charge for breakfast, nor did our waiter. We reasonably assumed this meant that the breakfast was included in our hotel stay, but to our surprise, we were charged 30 euro for breakfast upon check out. Had we known that we would be charged, we never would have eaten breakfast at the hotel. We disputed the charge immediately upon receiving it, but the lady who checked us out advised that she could do nothing for us and advised us to write the hotel when we got home. We exchanged several emails with hotel staff when we arrived home, requesting reimbursement. 1st email from hotel: Staff advised that on arrival day, there is no breakfast (which we were never told), and did not acknowledge our request for reimbursement. 2nd email from hotel: Operations Manager of the hotel, advised that "Unfortunately you didn´t let the front office team know about your concerns at check when you got the invoice." - Incorrect: We actually did do this, and were told to write the hotel. 3rd email from hotel: Operations Manager of the hotel advised incorrectly that a colleague recalled us checking out at 1430. She then said, "so as I can see you didn´t have to pay for the late check out (normally we charge the half price of the room rate, when guests are checking out after 13:00 o´clock) and I think this was a very smart reaction from my colleague at the front desk, that she didn´t asked you to pay for it." -Incorrect: We actually checked out in the morning and have proof!!! The hotel had us confused with someone else. There was NO response to our last email. What is most disappointing about our communication with the hotel is the clear assumption on the part of the hotel that we as customers were at fault before examining the situation, that customers do not get t

      Excellent rooms, good food, although a litlle more diversity for breakfast would be useful (i.e, a larger 'family' of fresh fruits). The location is good.

      Nice place, despite building works, and ideal location for town and airport”
      Pros: very nice and helpful staff, whether it be reception or restaurant. Nice Breakfast also, would have been nice to have seen the salmon served every day. Cons: lack of free sports facilities, which I am aware is being rectified with the new build.

      The hotel staff speak good English but the city map they offer is all in German. The rainfall shower in the bathroom is luxurious.

      not thrilled at all. the hotel is way out of city central - although metro system is easy to use. ”
      not thrilled with hotel at all. though clean , rooms are tiny and the air conditioning was horrible. They finally switched our room. staff is very friendly though... and wifi is included.
