This superb 5-star resort was designed and built by a Cambodian architect. This is an ideal property for those who wish to explore Angkor and its world famous temples. There is so much that Cambodia has to offer and, spread over 11 hectares, Angkor Palace Resort & Spa has it all. For dining, the Sunset café offers a buffet and all-day dining, including local and international specialties. Soriya Restaurant is the best place to sample the finest Khmer dishes. There are a number of meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 300 people for any type of function, while Kaninora Spa has a wide range of treatments on the menu to help you relax. Wireless Internet is offered in all public areas and the resort has tennis courts, a driving range, 24-hour concierge, and 24-hour in-room dining. It doesn’t get much better than this.

This resort should continue improving services”
Angkor Palace Resort & Spa is regarded as a five-star resort in Cambodian standards. It won one of the Agoda 2015 Gold Circle Awards for best hospitality and guest service in Cambodia. Indeed, the resort crew and remork (Cambodian tuk tuk) drivers excel in their services to the guests but they could improve their service and products further. Firstly, guests are welcome with drum beats when they arrive at the resort. This shows that every guest is a VIP. To match the exorbitant room price, the resort should consider providing shavers for men's use in the rooms. Angkor Palace Resort & Spa has a strange rule. All guests have to leave their rooms by 10 pm for the rooms to be cleared and cleaned. Therefore, guests were considered "checking-out" even if they had no intention to check-out before 12 pm. Please do not leave any loose baggage on the floor in the morning to prevent assumption that the baggage were to be abandoned by the room servant. Please bring the key-card along when leaving the room. Delightful resort, one of the best ”
My Mum and me stay there for 4 nights, and was such a lovely experience. Very warm welcomed by concierge at the airport and front office staff upon arrival. The hotel room is very chill with specious bathroom. He swimming pool is clean and spacious with a lovely bar. Buffet breakfast got lots of choices, we have to spend 3 day to try all the food there. All staff, including the concierge, driver, receptionist, F&B staff are very friendly with professional Hospitality service. They have make our trip even more delightful. The resort located in the middle of everything, 20 mins to he airport, the old market, pub street, and Ankor Wat. Shuttle bus add in a big plus to the resort. Our drive, Somaly, is very friendly and make our stay in Siem Reap even more easier. One of the best resort hotel in Siem Reap with great value, we will be back for sure. Thank you to all staff at Angkor Palace Resort. Kimmy and her mum
Great Service, Great Hotel and Lovely Ambience”
Amongst my numerous hotel stays in South-East Asia, Angkor Palace & Spa will always remain my favourite choice. The hotel embodies the old-world charm of Cambodia and is remarkable for it's friendly staff. On check-in the staff ensures that you are informed about all the hotel facilities in a detailed manner. The tour-desk is helpful in arranging the guided tours if you so desire. Alternatively they also offer you tips on getting around the attractions. The rooms are spacious and well lit. The hotel maintains high-level of cleanliness and hygiene in rooms as well as common areas. The service staff strives to meet any out-of-ordinary requests. Other amenities such as Sauna/Steam are free for the hotel guests. Especially helpful after a long and tiring day walking amongst the history. All in all, we had a very memorable experience in this hotel. Definitely a first choice, if I ever visit Siem Reap again.
A great hotel with a fantastic outdoor pool for the kids. Helpful and smiling staff. ”
We booked 2 adjoining rooms for 4 days in Angkor Palace Resort & Spa, and it was perfect! We enjoyed visiting Siem Reap with "tuk tuk", and resting at the hotel by the pool. A good choice of food for breakfast. I would recommend this hotel, especially for families.
Oasis in Siem Reap ”
The Angkor Palace is a high quality resort hotel with good service levels at an attractive price. The extensive grounds of the resort are well maintained and when combined with good quality public areas and rooms is a desirable place to stay when visiting the Angkor area. It is an oasis away from the dust, traffic and crowds of Siem Reap and the temple areas.
Amazing!!!!”
After arriving from a seamless trip in Thailand we where picked up from the airport and ten minutes later arriving at the hotel. Siem Reap has changed considerably with many large and amazing hotels (a small Las Vegas). The hotel is placed off the main street and is extremely quiet, getting around is simple enough, just hop on a tuk tuk and go anywhere you want to including Angkor temples and the Siem Reap town centre. The rooms are simply amazing and what you would expect in a London hotel, everything catered for and rooms kept clean. We were there for the Cambodian New Year also and celebrated in style, we also ventured out of the town and completed the visits to all the temples and outskirts of Siem Reap. Cambodia in comparison to parts of Thailand is not too touristy but you can see it will become so and good to go now as the people are really friendly and it is not too expensive, however, this depends on the season and when you go or hotel you stay at. Overall an amazing trip and I would highly recommend this hotel.
Fantastic Luxury Hotel”
We decided to book luxury for the final five days of our five week trip and we were in no way disappointed at the Angkor Palace resort. From the entrance with the banging of the drum to the service throughout our stay in has been a very high standard from the staff. The room is big with a huge bathroom. It is cleaned daily with an night time maid too that prepares your room for the evening. The breakfast offers a huge choice and is of a good standard. The pool is huge but as other reviews say there is a lot of chlorine in it which can irritate eyes. The use of free golf and tennis is fantastic also. We ate at the restaurant which was reasonably priced and very good. Although it is a bit of the way out there is a shuttle service which you can use for free but this can get booked up so book early. Overall this has certainly cemented our visit to Cambodia as being exceptional and the staff are the number one feature of the hotel as this wouldn't be as good without them. Thank you.
Best Hotel and Staff in Siem Reap”
I don't normally write reviews but for this hotel I'll make an exception. The facilities were great and the staff attention to detail is excellent. One of the best hotels we've stayed at - considering the level and location. Best bang-for-your-buck. Kudos to the staff at this hotel. They've been ranked at the tops multiple times in the past and we can see why. If we ever go back to Siem Reap for a vacation - we'll definitely come back. Great job. BTW, if you like golf, they have their own driving range and is very close to the good courses in the area (Angkor Resort, Phokeethra and Bouyoung). The latter are all great courses to play at. Only downside is during low season it rains almost every afternoon - but only for a few hours at a time. Still plenty of time to go around and explore. Have fun and make sure you haggle when you go to the night market...
Great location, Friendly Staff”
Just recently stayed from 14-16 October 2016. Angkor Palace Resort and Spa is just 15 mins away (estimated) from Airport, Night Market, and Angkor Wat. Touring around the hotel gives you a feeling that you are really in Cambodia - they have an Elephant Terrace inspired set-up near infinity pool. There are some statues and stone carved stones too in different parts of the hotel. The staff and drivers are very helpful and friendly. Plus, the hotel provides FREE shuttle service every hour from 7pm to 11pm to Downtown / Night Market - which will cost you US$3 per way if you go on your own via tuktuk. Over-all my stay is great.
Just outstanding!”
my wife and i have been fortunate over the years to have travelled extensively and stayed in many good hotels. i would quite simpoly rate this one as one of the very best we have ever stayed in. rooms were spacious, immaculately clean and well appointed; the staff were quite outstanding without being over-bearing, there was a good range of excellent food to suit all tastes, the pool was a joy, the gardens restful.............etc. it really is difficult to know where to stop with the praise! i guess the final point to make must be about value for money: we had travelled to siem reap via bangkok where we had stayed for two nights in one of the supposedly very best hotels in the city and at a room-rate which was five times what we were charged in siem reap. there is an inverse relationship here between price and performance because our experience and enjoyment of this hotel in siem reap was five times better than that which we had in bangkok and at only one fifth of the price. we will undoubtedly return!
Beautiful, comfortable and relaxing”
My husband & I popped over to Siem Reap for 3 nights purely to visit the temples. I chose this hotel based on positive reviews already & we were not disappointed. It's only a short drive from the airport (we had transfers included when booking on Agoda). Very nice air-con van. The road down to the resort is a little bumpy but then you see the beautiful building & your amazing greeting begins. The staff bang a drum as a welcome & present you with a coloured scarf & welcome drink & cold cloth for your refreshment too. A staff member then sits you down, confirms your dates, any details of your booking & take your passport to copy & you provide your credit card details. You're shown your (gorgeous) room & luggage is delivered there shortly after. Safe is in each room, very spacious (we booked deluxe), fridge, tea & coffee making facilities. Mini bar items & turn down service as well. We came back one day & 3 apples had been added to our room. Room service is available & has a limited choice of meals but extensive drinks options. There is a pool bar with full menu (food & drinks). Cocktails (very strong & well made) are around $5USD. You can eat in the water at the bar or on sun lounges. We ate also in the Sunset Cafe (all day dining) & our meals were incredible!!! Staff are very friendly & will do anything for you. They seem a gentle people, much like the Balinese. Just remember to slow down when speaking to them. They are eager to help but struggle when we speak too quickly. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. They arranged a Tuk Tuk from out the front, organised us to be able to eat breakfast 30mins earlier than its actual start time & got us back to the airport for our flight.
Luxury at low cost in Siem Reap”
We had such a wonderful time at The Grand Soluxe Angkor Palace Resort & Spa. It is a great value for price and the location is good as it is a bit out of the city and not to far from the airport. We found the staff to be very friendly and most helpful. The one complaint I had is our room's hair dryer burnt out one night as I was drying my hair and it took three phone calls to the front desk and about one hour to get a replacement. It was our first visit to Cambodia. We came with an open mind and left with a full heart.
Cambodian Paradise”
We had a fantastic but sadly too short stay at Angkor Palace Resort. We spent some fantastic days at the Angkor Wat temples with a great tuk tuk driver arranged by the hotel. The staff service was always fantastic and if you had a chance to relax, the pool and facilities were lovely. We were lucky to have time for a massage at the spa which topped off a great stay. We particularly enjoyed the meals at the restaurant.
Luxury, Good Food and exceptional Service ”
The Angkor Palace and Spa Resort in Siem Reap is beautifully laid out, with lovely gardens and Swimming Pool. It cost $7.50 to get there from the airport, and $3.50 to get into the township by Tuktuk. The Staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. They were trying to acquire a 5 Star rating at the time we were there, and we could not fault their service.
Exceptional”
All staffs are friendly and kind to us. We were comfortable with their service, room, swimming pool and breakfast. The space of our room is big. The hotel also offers the shuttle bus to downtown and return!! We were happy to stay in Angkor Palace Resort & Spa.
Highly Recommended for Family with Young Children”
My visit to Angkor Palace Resort & Spa was very memorable. This was my first trip with my young one outside Thailand. I was nervous about my stay but thanks to the hotel and environment itself. My kid enjoyed it and it is worth for every penny I spent.
Hotel with character”
We had two rooms. Very clean and spacious. Friendly and polite staff. Superb grounds with two swimming pools. Nice gym and spa. Lot of teak and rosewood interior decoration gives rustic feel. Walls could do with a lick of paint. 10 minutes tuk tuk ride to city centre. Royal Khmer restaurant is expensive and not value for money. Lot of nice restaurants at Siem Reap night market. Breakfast is good but judging by coffee standards, not five star. Laundry expensive. We used outside laundry which was $1-2/kg. Plenty of them and they deliver to hotel lobby. Was lucky to get a Tuk Tuk Driver Mr Chay through hotel receptionon the first day. He then became our guide and taxi driver for the next 3 days.
Excellent!!!!!!”
Along with 3 other friends, I stayed at the Grand Soluxe Angkor Palace Resort for 5 nights. Right from our Arrival until our departure the service was excellent. No request was too much trouble; all service was with a smile and kind words. Once of our party celebtared his birthday while there. The Hotel provided a delicious cake and also sang Happy Birthday along with us.
Superb stay”
The Hotel is about 10 min away from the airport and another 10min from Siem Reap City Centre and the Angkor Wat area. The good think about the hotel is that it's behind the main road, unlike most of the other hotels. It's therefore more quiet and peaceful. The garden is very nice. The food, Western, Khmer and other Asian, was great. The staff was friendly. Would go there again.
Large resort, well-maintained, nice swimming pool”
We were happy to discover that the resort was isolated from the main road (only 400m far but enough to eliminate all noises from the traffic). Our bedroom and bathroom were large, on the ground floor with a small terrace. Breakfast Buffet was great. Service and maintenance of the resort are efficient, all is very clean, and the staff very polite and smiling. Free shuttle to the city every evening and many tuk-tuk of the hotel were ready to bring you to angkor temple. Very good value for the price we have got through agoda. We will choose this resort again, when flying back to Angkor.
