the lift was a little slow .

My Stay here was great , my room was large but cosy , crisp clean sheets and comfortable bed made a welcome sight after a day at the temples . The whole hotel was very clean with a lovely lobby bar area , I had breakfast in my room but the roof top restaurant has nice views across siem reap . This hotel is fairly new but has great ambience . My thanks to the proffessional staff they couldnt do enough for me , but their english is limited , I went to the temples by Tuk-Tuk , great feeling the air and hearing all the sounds of the forrest on the way , be sure to see the floating village , I watched the sunset there from the Tara boat . I would stay here again even if the price goes up.

Clean and comfortable hotel offering good value.”

Clean rooms and the roof top restuarant.
Very slow internet and even slower lift.

The hotel is located a 10 minute walk away from the main tourist area of Siem Reap where the majority of bars, restaurants, souvenir shops, night markets, etc are located. Part of the road is very dark so late at night it may be advisable to take a tuk tuk (motorbike with trailer) and as these only cost a couple of dollars the cost is fairly reasonable. The main town is just a few minutes walk away but caters for the local people only with little to attract the tourist. You will need a minimum of 2 full days in Siem Reap. One day to see the Anghor Temples and the other to view the floating market and town. To hire a Tuk Tuk for 6 or 7 hours to tour the temples is about 15USD. The hotel has around 50 rooms and has basic facilities but is very clean and the food, although limited, is very good. There is a small swimming pool, gym and pool table as well as a very slow internet. The staff are friendly and helpful. Siem Reap is very much a tourist resort so you will need to travel outside the town to see the real Cambodia. Nearly all purchases are made using dollars.

Staff is great, quiet location, nice pool

We really enjoyed our stay at Claremont. We are a 26 year old couple who are budget travelers. From the moment we got out of the tuk tuk at the hotel from the moment we left we never saw a staff member who wasn't smiling. The room was nice and had a bathtub in it. The breakfast had a nice selection and was served on the rooftop. The pool was small, but a great place to cool off while in the heat of siem reap. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the main streets and nightlife. The only downside was that we feel it was a little over priced for the location in siem reap. There are better options in Siem Reap, but the Claremont is still a very good pick.

At the exceptionally good price we were concerned about the Claremont before arriving in Cambodia. However upon our check in we were amazed at the fantastic service offered for such a great price. The rooms are simple but spotlessly clean and the staff go out of their way to ensure your stay is comfortable. Location is great, just a short walk to the centre of town, and quiet enough to get a good night sleep. Well Done to the staff who really made our stay in Siem Reap memorable.

Clean, comfortable and genuinely excellent service

We stayed for 3 nights. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff and shown to a very large and extremely comfortable room. Real value for money. We were surprised given the reasonable price we had paid. But the surprises didn't stop there, I had a bit of a problem, I had left some pretty sentimental items in our previous hotel in Ho Chi Minh. I had made contact and one of the staff was being less than cooperative, seems it was a prime opportunity to extort. I mentioned it tithe manager of the Claremont Angkor Boutique Hotel. He went well out of his way to organise a fairly creative method to return my items, called in favour with friends and all sorts. Long story short, my items were returned to my for a very reasonable cost the next day. Once again a big thankyou to all of the staff at the Claremont Angkor Boutique Hotel. You really provided a stay to remember.

      Very small, but clean, pool.

Siem Reap's Claremont Angkor Hotel is a wonderful hotel, a have block east of the river. It is only a 10 minute walk along the river promenade to the old market, and downtown action. The staff are extremely helpful and cheery! Rooms were immaculately clean, and large. For the price we paid, this hotel is fantastic. We were on our honeymoon and have absolutely no regrets about staying at this hotel. We would recommend it to anyone!

      Location, comfort and rooftop terrasse

Claremont Angkor Boutique Hotel is a gem, only around 1 km away from Pub Street/market area (1 USD ride with tuk-tuk or a 15 min. walk). Hotel is quiet, comfortable and clean - and staff is friendly. The rooftop terrasse is just a perfect place for breakfast or a drink. I had a large deluxe room with a fantastic bathtub. The pool isn't much, very small and only 5-6 sunbeds around, but only a few people used it. I recommend to buy bottled water next door, which is only 0,50 USD for 1,5 l (hotel price is 1,5 USD for 0,5 l.!) Loved it and I would definitely choose this hotel again!

clean rooms, nice roof-top restaurant for breakfast

The Claremont Angkor Hotel is a nice enough hotel but I would not book it again. It is too far from the center of Siem Reap and you have to take transportation to get to the area with all the restaurants and bars each evening. Anything you save in hotel costs will be taken by this transport costs. There is nothing wrong with the hotel...nice rooftop bar/restaurant, clean rooms, hot showers, but it is just in the wrong location. And the computers in the lobby were so old they were more decorative than useful. It was not a "warm and helpful" hotel but not bad as a last resort.

      Friendly hotel, great service”

Fantastic staff, beautiful rooms, rooftop restaurant

An excellent hotel in a convenient, pretty, close to river side location, short stroll from all major points in Siem Reap. Excellent breakfast, very helpful caring staff, would recommend this hotel.
