The Angleterre is a good hotel near Montmartre, just one metro stop from the Gare du Nord.- in fact I just walked along the Boulevard de Magenta to get to it - it is right behind the Tati department store, which you can see from a long way. I was able to walk a short way to the Sacré Coeur Basilica and eat at a nearby restaurant - a very pleasant evening. This is really a good, convenient hotel if you wish to be near the Gare du Nord and is very convenient for exploring Paris.

the place is okay for short stay”
My husband and i stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights. The room was good but we can hear our neighbours when they flush their toilets. The hotel is near the Metro Barbès - Rochechouart. The environment or surroundings there is a little scary at first because of cigarette vendors outside the metro but we got used to it. The good thing about this place are our room was clean, staff are nice, its 10 min walk to Montmarte.

Lovely place to stay. Very reasonably priced. Great for a short stop over. No facilities but a lovely clean small room with bathroom. Bring your own travel iron btw. Perfectly located next to metro and mainline train station. Surrounded by shops and food joints. Excellent staff who are more than helpful.

Awesome location in Montmartre”
Great location very close to the Barbès - Rochechouart metro station that connects to lines 2 and 4. The room was comfortable and clean, with a small desk and chair, and a big window with a small balcony. The bathroom was really small, but that's normal in the Paris hotels I've been to before. The breakfast wasn't included in the fee I got. The staff's attention was Ok and they were helpful with some details like making a copy of our passports. It was very satisfactory in general. You have a Burger King very near, a Carrefour a couple blocks away, and if you walk along the boulevard you'll find small stores and food places.

Reasonable price for such location in Paris”
- Very well priced according to the location, just 2 min walk from metro station - 10-15 min walk from Montmartre - no elevator, only stairs and floor can be as high as 5 - old furniture inside, no kettle, tiny room and bathroom All in all not bad and not good, somewhere in the middle.

Not the best hotel in terms of service”
This hotel is quite clean and quite spacious. WAY TOO expensive for one night but the bathroom is nice, rooms are quite okay and the location isn’t bad at all. The staff was not too friendly and also had an attitude. We stayed for one night and dealt with two front desk employees and they were working as if they had no soul. Also when you leave you have to give the key but if you decide to come back late, the person at the front desk takes a while because they’re sleeping and then answers the door quite grumpy. All in all,I’d come back again but they just neee to act better!

It was a nice small room,with a bathroom.We've been there at winter, but it was't cold. It's not a 5* hotel,but for us,for 3 night it was perfect. It is just next to the Barbés-Rochechouart metro station and quite close to Montmartre and the Sacre Coeur and the Moulin Rouge is just 3 station away from there. I was perfectly satisfied.

A decent stay ”
The place is clean and well kept. Our room was a corner which was spacious and the bathroom was a decent size as well. The hotel offers breakfast and it is close to a major avenue in case you want to eat out. It is close to Sacre Coeur (a 10 min walk) and the rail station. Overall is a good place for the money. Our only problem was the bedding. Beds were clean but the comforters and blankets had seen better days. Invest on that and they will have a great place. Oh and front doors get closed after midnight so you will have to ring a bell to get in which I thought it was odd.

Hotel ben posizionato a pochi passi dal Sacré Coeur e davanti la stazione della M2 barbès rochechuart. La camera era ben pulita , il personale molto gentile e pronto a dare una mano . Per L’estate nella camera manca il condizionatore Ma si può chiedere tranquillamente in reception un ventilatore . Nei dintorni troverete tre supermercati , boulangerie , brasserie e Café bar. Nel complesso un buon rapporto qualità prezzo! Noi una famiglia con 2 figli grandi , abbiamo preso una quadrupla e siamo stati bene ! 🇬🇧Hotel well located a few steps from the Sacré Coeur and in front of the M2 barbès rochechuart station. The room was well cleaned, the staff very polite and ready to help. There is no air conditioner in the room, but you can ask for a fan in the reception. Nearby you will find three supermarkets, boulangeries, brasseries and café bars. Overall good value for money! We was a family with 2 older children, we took a quadruple and we had a good time!

It is about a 10-minute walk to Gare du Nord, or 2-minute to the Line 4 metro stop. There are fast food restaurants right outside, if you just want to eat and stay overnight. The room with four beds was fine for my quick stay, with comfortable beds. Staff were polite and helpful, and you can keep your bag there after checkout. The walk to Sacre Couer is about ten minutes, but uphill (via stairs) with great views of the city.

Exceptional”
The place is highly recommended for any kind of travelers. The room is big and clean. They have a lift and a storage area where you can safely leave your bags if you arrive at the place early or leaving late. The staff were very accommodating and helped us in all the questions we have. We had a great time staying at the hotel with a nice view of the canal. The place is at the heart of the city with an easy access to a lot of tourist spots. It’s a 7mins walk to metro station. Will definitely recommend and return to stay at the hotel.

it is a budget hotel. worth for money. good location. walking distance from metro station. friendly staff, they know how to speak arabic as well. although you can hear toilet flushing and door opening from the other room, but as whole it was convenient staying at this hotel. i'll probably recommend this hotel if you are looking for a budget hotel! 👍👍👍

convenient but too small showing room”
The hotel is just a minute to the Metro station. Or you can walk from the Paris de Nord (Train station) with about 10 to 12 minutes. Around that area, there are a lot of black French. At the back of the hotel, there is a shortcut to the Momertte Plaza, just within 5 minutes walk. (has to walk up, and with staircase). Also nearby, there is a washing shop, not expensive. And a internet cafe, 8 Euros for 5 hours. It is cheap comparing with others in France. If you are fat, you will not be able to use the shower because it is too small. Besides, the shampoo and soap provided are of poor quality.

Not good for travelers with small children. Hotel floor need to be change becoz flooring are made of wood. My goodness. Staying there make me feel scary especially at nite. It see,s like staying in a haunted house. Will never comeback. If I'm back in Paris again will only be visiting this hotel to meet the staff at the reception. He is a very helpful person.

The room for four people is quite clean,but the bathroom is really small.The location is nice, quite near metro station. But I felt not that safe because of many black French nearby.
