Excellent location”
Really great location. Can't do better. Rooms are very nice. It is a little on the expensive side and does feel a little cold, it would be nice to have a some staff checking the pool area a bit more often and things like that rather than having to go ask for towels or drinks. Cleaning staff were great. The restaurant is too expensive.

Nice Boutique Hotel”
Very nice Laotian design boutique hotel. Located in the heart of the city, close to the river, night market and many eateries. Big room and very clean and comfortable bed. Breakfast is also good.

Very good”
Nicely laid-out hotel comprising 4 buildings around the pool. Considering how close to the main drag it is, it's surprisingly quiet and peaceful. My "Savvy Double" room overlooking the pool was spacious with a huge bed, but starting to show signs of age with ware and tear. I found staff a bit dour (no smiles) and breakfast was particularly solemn, in a silent room. A bit of music to lift the ambience wouldn't hurt. Perhaps they were nervous of their poor English but I would've been happy to speak French if it helped. Breakfast options for non-meat eaters were very limited.

Nice Hotel, good location, terrible staff”
Staff hardly spoke english, very unfriendly, when we checked out, our taxi driver was told to wait till they checked if we have taken their old bathrobes. Front desk staff came to taxi and really asked us how many bathrobes were in the room and if we took them😧 Taxi was still waiting when I asked why he replied we had to wait for someone. What? We paid for the taxi and then we had to wait for the unfriendly staff because they had to pick up another guest from the airport. With a little bit more effort the experience could have been much better.

Great hotel!”
This is a cute hotel in a convenient location! Easy to walk to the river and sites. Plenty of restaurants nearby. The one thing that needs improving is the wifi. I was in room 16 and the wifi was super spotty. It was spotty at the restaurant terrace, too. I had to hang out in the lobby to get a usable signal. I informed the front desk that they need to fix the router but nothing was done. Because of the poor wifi I’m giving 4 stars for the facilities.

Overrated and overpriced ”
The bathroom was filthy and the sink clogged. Was only there for less than 24 hours or would have checked out early. Wish I could post pictures of bathroom. Breakfast was quite good but not a reason to stay here.

Lovely place to stay. Fabulous restaurant - don't miss it. Snacks in the bar - nothing too much trouble. Staff where very attentive. Made staying here very pleasant. Good location across from the river - what the sun set. Close to the Presidents Palace.

Good location, but average hotel”
A good location, close to the night market and other sights. Check in process felt like I was going through immigration at the airport, with three staff sitting on a desk next to each other, and with no hint of a smile to begin with, though they did warm up after5 minutes. Subsequent interactions with those staff were all good however. Breakfast choice very limited and rather basic level of service. Room was clean, albeit devoid of charm.

Good location, can walk to riverfront and restaurants easily. Room was a bit dark but it was ground floor so probably better further up the building. Nice pool and surroundings.

Fabulous hotel in great location ”
We spent 3 nights at the Ansara Hotel and absolutely loved it. The staff were very accommodating and flexible and allowed us a super early check-in. The location was perfect and the rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast in the upstairs dining room was relaxing and a delight. The chef would freshly prepare your eggs - spot on! Coffee came made to order and the buffet had something for everyone. The swimming pool was awesome., especially for the kids. A great way for us all to cool down after a day exploring. My only suggestion would be to keep it open a little longer (closes at 6pm). My whole family loved staying at this hotel and would have no hesitation in recommending it. We would definitely stay there again if we return to Vientiane.
