This is literally the best hostel I’ve ever tried in my traveling. The staff oh My God really friendly, they gave me free basic breakfast and then at 7pm they gave free chips and champagne. Really really lovely hospitality ♥️

Pleasant stay at Antares hostel”
Good location next to the train station (Gare de Nice Ville) and Thiers tram station. Room clean with comfortable beds, I arrived late and received a free upgrade from 8 bed to 4 bed room. The staff was friendly and helpful, gave me additional info about how to reach the airport by public transport (bus schedules hanging in the lobby and elevator). Hostel provides free luggage storage after checkout and complementary wine, champagne and chips in the kitchen during early evening hours to promote socializing aspects for the guests. Overall pleasant stay and really good value for money paid.

Great staff and location”
Booked Antares Hostel but was put into Baccarat Hostel. Perhaps it's of same management but since it's connected (back to back of each other) it didn't really matters to me. Just that Baccarat hostel may be a little less presentable (judging just from the Lobby) when compare to Antares. The front desk staff in Baccarat were friendly and helpful. Had some "accident" with my power adapter and Kamal had sent me to his mate's place to purchase a new converter at discounted price .

No-frills budget hotel in the city centre”
Quite big room, generally clean but the hotel looks a bit old and the bedsheets etc look old (though clean). Free breakfast available for all. it looks like a mix of hotel and hostel rooms. Location is very good. Just near the train station for regional trains and the tram station is also at walking distance. Would recommend this place for a budget stay!

Good location and affordable price , free breakfast, but the triple-bed room is really small, we can even walk if we open our suitcase. Another drawback is that the facility looked really old.

Not for the older backpacker!!”
When I arrived I was told that I was too old to stay in the dorm area even though this was booked in advance. I can't find any advice on the hotels website about a specific age limit. This may be discriminatory anyway. Staff immediately started booking my whole intended stay to a normal private room at three times the rate of the dorms so I wonder whether this is a bit a scam for where else was I going to go at 8pm in a strange city? I reserved the room for three nights only. It was ok but a bit shabby and dated and relatively expensive for a average hotel in what seemed like quite a rough area by the train station.

Very disappointed by age discrimination!”
Due to unexpected problems with an airbnb accomodation, I had to book a hostel in the late evening in Nice. I found a good offer at this hostel by Booking.com, so I booked. The booking was accepted. Until.. I read the confirmation email: people above 40 are not allowed in a dormitory. Since I am 43, I was forced to cancel the booking. I was very upset, because why shouldn't I be allowed in a dormitory at my age? It's not even a youth hostel. They have single rooms, but for that price you'd better go to a hotel.

Rude staff and bugs in toilet”
The young male receptionist was so rude. When I just entered the hostel, he didn't even greet me but watching video on his phone and when I talked to him said I'd like to check in please and he said wait (in order to finish his video)... and next day when I asked him where can I have the breakfast, and he just showed me a long face and beckoned the left side. Also, there were so many bugs in the toilets which was awful... never gonna stay in this place again if I visit Nice next time.

Couldn’t believe there’s no any air conditioning/fan under 35 degree in the summer!!! Sound proof was horrible too! I felt like I was sleeping on the street!!! I couldn’t sleep at all!!! Guys, if u had choices, please choose another one!!

good location, bed are confortable for an hostel, room clean, lockers in every room, electric plugs at every bed. Wi-Fi is Okay, breakfast not exceptional but it's free so we can't complain. Overall really good value for money.

A lovely stay exprience in Nice”
I like the staffs, especially two housekeeper ladies! They are soooo friendly and nice, so does the receptionist Terry, he concerns every guest and tries his best to help. Location is perfect, 2 minutes to Nice Ville(FS) by walk, also can take bus number 99 to the airport ( timetable start from 7:00am, every 30 minutes)€6, 10 minutes to main centre by walk.

Lits superposés hors d’epoque qui grincent et de taille enfant ( impossible de bouger ou se retourner ) impossible de dormir car lorsque l’un bouge l’autre aussi .. Mal dormie ! Embêtant lorsque l’on aimerait pouvoir profiter de ses journées de vacances ! Propreté ok, gentillesse personnel ok , mais mal dormi !!!!
