Located between rialto bridge and san marco square. Both of the landmarks are about 5 minutes walking time to the hotel. Hotel is easy to reach by Vaporetto through line 1 @ Rialto Stop. Appreciate the great courtesy provided by the kitchen staff who serve us breakfast! The breakfast is delicious although the choices is are considered limited.
The hotel was in the best location for all of Venices main attractions. Literally 3 minutes to St Marks Square, 4 minutes to Rialto Bridge and if you ask for canal view you can watch the Gondolas. Pretty little roof terrace and delicious breakfast. Only downside, bed in 310 extremely firm. Husband liked it but not for me. Staff were very efficient. Easy access to the Vaparetto water taxis also.
Great location for: 1. arrival by waterbus - a 5-minute, quite straightforward walk from the Rialto waterbus stop, which is especially great for those arriving late or with lots of luggage; 2. San Marco - a 6-minute, also easy walk, which is great for early rise trying to avoid long lines. Other highlights: great breakfast selection, proximity to the main shopping area. The rooms are clean, comfortable and decorated with taste. Overall a great value for the price!
A great place to stay”
My wife and I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The location is fantastic as it is between the Rialto Bridge and San Marco Square. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was a little small, but comfortable enough and the hotel breakfast was very good. There is also a very good and somewhat famous restaurant in the hotel at the street level as well and is also recommended. We would stay at this hotel again.
Perfect location, helpfull staff, small, nice hotel”
Perfect location, in the middle to all important places. Very helpfull staff, I was travelling with old mother and asked them to put us on the lowest floor ‘cose there is no elevator and we got it! On the ground floor is very good Michelin stars restaurant - recommend it! Clean room with a cattle so we could prepare warm tea in the room. Small, cosy hotel
A lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Rooms on the small side but adequate and when in Venice you are only using it for a base. Breakfast has a lot of choice of hot & cold food and kept refreshed regularly. Waitresses very tentative. Reception staff very helpful and were able to help with any queries we had. Hotel central to get to most places. Our 3 day stay has been fantastic.
antic hotel with "canal"”
with a 'canal" view, means the small canal channel behind. near the bridge and above 2nd floor is not as enjoyable. no elevator! small and many steps for each level. centraalised controlled aircondition
Excellent 3* hotel”
Excellent location and on the canal, a small 30 room hotel. Rooms are basic but spacious and clean. We enjoyed the wonderful breakfasts. Very clean, staff very helpful. Easy transit from Venice airport by waterbus (€15) - alight at Rialto and a 3 minute walk to the hotel.
A gem of a find. This hotel is in the perfect location to visit all the wonderful highlights of Venice. 2 mins either way to the Rialto Bridge or St Marks Sq. The hotel is above the Bistro of Venice restaurant on the corner of the narrow streets by one of the many bridges with a canal running along side. The roof garden is an added bonus
Cute and convenient”
I really liked the room, eventhough it involved climbing a lot of stairs. Staff was nice enough, bathroom was decent, amenities were ok and breakfast was included (and decent). A comfy stay for a good price, overall. Location is great, a very short walk from Piazza San Marco and also close enough to Ponte Rialto.
A very cozy and stylist boutique hotel on the island of Venice. Super convenient from the pier. Room design was cute. Windows with wooden shutters so residents won't get cold in the winter. The hotel occupies a whole old building at the junction of a street. The main gate is a automatic glass door. A romantic restaurant run by the hotel downstairs with classical music flowing all the time. Bathroom is a bit small but has good heating towel rack to make it so dry and comfortable. Breakfast was exceptionally awesome. Buffet with all homemade bread, cakes and fresh mixed fruits. The staff at the breakfast hall was a gentleman, who dressed in suits and was very polite to the customers. He was also smart in combining tables, settling down customers and kids, to make us sit and eat comfortably. Hotel surrounding was good. Restaurants, shops, canals, bridges, churches, st marc square.... you can spend a whole day on the island without having any trouble in locating your hotel. I definitely want to come again!
Quaint Little Hotel”
Loved my room with the windows overlooking the canal. And the location is excellent, near St Peter's Square and many restaurants just down the path. Would advise travelling with lighter luggage as there are no elevators and you'll need to haul your bags up. But worth it for some experience in old fashion Venetian ambiance.
Location ! ”
Great little place, conveniently located in between San Marco and Rialto. Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful. Our room was a bit small, but it is common in Europe. Great choice of TV channels, with possibility of watching the movies in original language.
I stayed for 9 days”
It was good in almost every way - the only problem was that I had to be out of my room in the afternoon for it to be cleaned which is when I would be tired from the morning's walking and needed to rest.
Great hotel in Venice”
We had a wonderful stay in Venice in a canal view room (room 209). The staff were very helpful, breakfast options were delicious and plentiful and staff are very friendly and efficient. The hotel is located in between Rialto Bridge and St Marks Square, close to everything. Would recommend this hotel and stay again.
This hotel is impossible to find. The entrance is in the middle of a restaurant, and the restaurant staff were not very helpful directing me to the hidden entrance as I dragged my luggage up and down the street looking for the damned place which is OFF the street given address. The room was small but comfortable, and the staff was pleasant and helpful.
High Taxes and Grumpy Manager”
Was reasonable, just look out for the local tax that they add on last minute (might be small print) that's not clearly communicated in booking. If the tax is there in small print it normally ends up higher when you check out. Staff were ok but they ignored 'do not disturb signs' left on the bedroom and the Manager was beyond rude and unhelpful, he ignorantly intercepted a conversation with reception to shout and holla and make accusations (I think he's tired of Tourists as many locals are, but not ideally placed for good customer service). I have travelled a lot and Venice is beautiful, but a total tourist trap and hidden taxes on everything coupled with grumpy service can easily taint an experience.
