Great Location! Friendly Staff! Would Recommend! ”
The hotel is situated right beside the Rialto Bridge and just across the canal is a stop for the main water bus! Very handy for getting around. The hotel itself is in a very good location. The staff in the hotel where lovely and very hospitable. Breakfast is served in a dining area with a view over looking the canal. The room was very clean. There was no view however and limited natural light. The only con I would advise potential bookers off is the amount of stairs you need to climb to reach reception. Once you enter the door of the hotel you need to climb 4 flights of stairs from a small hallway to reach reception.
Good location bad access”
Hotel is just steps from the Rialto bridge, to access you ring the bell and wait to be buzzed in, where you are greeted by a massive amount of stairs, no elevator, this is hard to go up and down. Good room had a view a little street which was nice and breakfast was a good selection, need to get a front table in the breakfast room to see the canal. Easy enough access to public transport. Good decor.

Great view! Friendly staff!
Birthday weekend with my mother ”
The hotel is so easy to find, on arrival room wasn’t ready but left our luggage. Upon arrival to the room, the hotel had a lovely gesture for my mum's bday. Overall hotel was nice, clean and perfect location. Great breakfast. Would definitely return and recommend.
Nice Hotel in Amazing Location ”
We really enjoyed our stay at the Antica Locanda Sturion during our honeymoon. The room was pretty and very clean, the shower was amazing. Even though the choices for breakfast were a bit limited, the quality was very good and so was the service. The long staircase was no problem for us because we only had to take them twice every day. When we left in the morning and when we returned at night. We would definitely come back again!
Nice little hotel in front of grand canal”
Very pleasant staffs. Great view out of the canal-viewed room and also the breakfast area. There are 68 steps (my daughter counted everytime we went up) a.k.a 3 flights of stairs to climb up though.
Good location”
Everything was nice, apart from the price raise too high on a new year season. Love to come again when out of season.
Exceptional”
Nice ancient hotel. Very homey.
Best location”
Loved our location and beautiful view from breakfast area to the Rialto bridge. Only con is no elevator so 3 sets of stairs with luggage!
Super awesome!”
I will stay at this hotel again!
I see Red”
Red walls, red sheets, red carpeting, red cushions, red bathroom, all Red. Spacious. Clean bathtub. No heater in room. Breakfast is great. Breakfast room windows facing the main canal. Good location.

Nice Staff”
The actual place lives up the expectation of the photos shown in this website. The staff is nice and helpful to carry your luggage up 3 floors to the lobby, which there's no choice but stairs. Very good view and location.
friendly staffs ”
When we got to the hotel there was under construction on the floor little noisy but we stay there good enough
good location”
Hotel room have a very thin wall, you heared everything what is happening outside the wall. No elevator. Reception and rooms are located at the 4th floor. Breakfast is not so extensive. Hotel have a friendly staf, location is verry good.
Highly Recommended”
It was our first visit to Venice, so we were unsure of the best location for a hotel in our price range. We were very pleased with Antica Locanda, and in fact we changed our plans so that we'll be staying there again before we fly out of Venice. The location is great. It's very central and an easy walk from all kind of shopping, restaurants, and St. Mark's. We had a family room, which looked out over the grand canal. The hotel was easy to find, which was convenient when we flew in late and jet lagged. The breakfast is a lovely spread, and we looked out on a sunrise over the canal as we ate. Overall, it was a lovely stay at a great place. I highly recommend it.
Good location and budget”
Very comfortable hotel with a great value
Best in venice ”
Awesome, couldn't be better. Awesome dinner recommendation at da mamo by ms manuealla.
good stay! very satisfied!”
Great location”
Location is really great a little hard to find but then again in Venice it's normal. The blankets were rough and breakfast had a very limited selection. The staff were very nice and helpful. I guess the biggest pain is the huge flight of stairs that you need to walk to access the hotel. You look at it and it's like omg. However the staff were helpful and carried out luggage up the stairs. Still, climbing the stairs on a daily basis is really good exercise just slightly painful. However the view which you get for climbing the stairs is really rewarding. The view is just that awesome.
