We absolutely loved this place, it was Ana amazing location and great value for money. We will definitely be returning!!!

Very good”
We booked in this B&B because of the good reviews that I read, however there were somethings that were different or not mentioned. First, it took us a few minutes to look for the location of Antica when the cab driver dropped us off. Signage was small and you have to look for it on huge door entrance of the building. The B&B is located at the 2nd floor beside the other residential or office rooms, you have to take a small lift to bring up your luggage. There are around 5 rooms, one dining area and photos look a lot better than actual. Based on picture, there’s an AC in the room but it was defective when we arrived and portable AC was placed instead. Very simple breakfast was served daily (bread, cheese, jam, yoghurt), no hot meals. Location is 10-15mins. Walk to Piazza Maggiore and it looks longer when you’re walking back at night since there are lesser people that you’ll come across, train station is a lot farther taking a cab is the best option. Others may find it okay but entering the dimly lit building up to the lift at night was a bit frightening for me specially when you’re alone, glad that we’re a couple! Moreover, would like to acknowledge Augustino for the good service such as referring good restaurants and for taxi reservation.

Authentic Bolognese Welcome and lovely stay”
Agostino has taken care of everything in an organised way. From the moment we check in (early arrival for luggage storage), to breakfast in the morning, and swift check out. We had a wonderful time. The B&B is at an old apartment in the south of Piazza Maggiore, with 5 mins walk. Allowing us to stay away the tourists yet easy to access to the city.

Everything was perfect: nice amentities, friendly owner, clean and comfy. Took care of finding me a lovely place for dinner and even brought me tea and cookies after each day. If I come back to Bologna, this is where I will stay.
