Best location”
I would specially like to mention the front desk staff Valentino and Alan who were simply out-of-the world - always going that extra mile to make guests feel at home. The hotel's location is the best, all the tourist spots like Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Pantheon are walking distance. Rome Termini is less than 10 min walk. Lots of meal options close by. The breakfast spread is good. The only complaint I have is omlette was pre-cooked and cold. I prefer it freshly made and warm.

Very good”
A boutique hotel located 7 min from main station & 15 mins from coliseum (walking). Comfortable room although small. Breakfast was typical continental with a great range of pastries. Only problem was shower seemed to have a mind of its own. All staff we met were friendly, helpful and happy. Would stay again as the hotel suited our news for this trip.

Very good”
The hotel is a bit worn down and many things are not working properly. I’m not sure if the breakfast has been changed due to covid or it has always been like this but it really lacks options for a person. If you do go for breakfast, be sure to ask for cheese/ham and bread as it’s not available to take from the selection

Good location ”
Nice cordial staff in reception and breakfast room. I stayed twice. First room was perfect but second room smelt of bleach and bathroom needed upgrading

Disappointing ”
The location of the hotel was fantastic, only 10 minute walk to the Coliseum and many great bars and superb restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Unfortunately we found our room to be very dusty when we first arrived. After a couple of days we had a problem with the toilet, as it wouldn’t flush. We reported the toilet problem to the staff at the hotel who did promptly fix it. The breakfast at the hotel was terrible. It was a continental style buffet breakfast but if you don’t get up early then you’re simply left with a few crumbs to eat as I found out that the stocks weren’t replenished in anyway. In essence the early bird gets the worm at this hotel. For the last couple of days we stayed here we decided to have breakfast at a cafe, literally a two minute walk away.

Need renovation ”
The location is right across the Basilica. The staffs were helpful and friendly. Had to wait 20 minutes for the hot water. The room is tiny and old. The bathroom was dirty and smelly.

The hotel is well positioned for seeing many of the sites of Rome. The reception staff are lazy and unhelpful while the breakfast is awful when compared with other similar hotels in central Rome

Unclean. Smelly. Hot. Moldy.”
There's no way this is actually a 4 star hotel. Maybe 2 at best.

It is not worth it!”
Rooms not clean. Used tissues from a previous guest I suppose under the bed. Matress not confortable at all and bigger than its own bed. Carpet not clean, with lots of hairs stucked on it. Noisy a/a . Bad breakfast quality. The only good thing was the staff attention

Terrible place.”
Terrible place. Not recommended. Awful breakfast. Especially the coffee. Couldn’t eat anything. The coldest room I’ve ever been. The conditioner doesn’t work for warm temperatures. Wi fi doesn’t work normally. They don’t care about shampoo daily. One day I’ve got empty bottle from shampoo. And I’ve used one small piece of soap for 6 days from 7 days I’ve been there. No 4* rates. Just 1* rates.

Like a one star hotel”
This hotel should be one star hotel. There is no hairdryer in my roon. After I requested, they gave me mini hairdryer. The water was not on the sink, so they changed my roon. Rooms and hotel are not clean. The breakfast isn’t enough for Muslims. I dont recommen it

Excellent location, helpful and friendly staff, walking distance Colosseum & Rome Termini”
Stayed for 2 nights in April with our 12 year old daughter. Hotel is in a great location, walking distance (with luggage) from Rome Termini. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. 10 mins walk to Colosseum and there are some great restaurants nearby too. Room was clean and spacious enough for 3 of us. Beautiful courtyard which we sat out in each evening after returning from dinner. Breakfast area quite compact and limited hot food available but enough variety to set us up til lunchtime. Hotel has some lovely sitting room/lounge areas too, worth exploring as we found there was a lot of history to the hotel. Great base for a lovely trip to Rome.

Exceeded expectations ”
A nearly perfect combination of superb location and the value. With only few exceptions, all major Rome sites are within 20-minute walking distance.. An official Taxi stand is right next to the hotel (it took us 10 Euros and 15 minute or so to get to Vatican). And so is a stop of the hop-in - hop-off buses. One night we got an unscheduled guided tour of the magnificent Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore just cross the street. Another night we took a 10 minute stroll to a 'The Barber of Seville' performance. If someone prefers a budget dinner, a mid-size supermarket is virtually next door; when/if someone prefers to eat/snack out, there are plenty of gelaterias, restaurants and pizzerias close by. Neighbourhood is clean, with streets full of people at 10pm. The hotel can be used as a base camp for trips outside of Rome: a walk to Termini is about 10 minutes. Before checking out, do not forget to visit the Piazza Vittorio Emanuele hosting a small colony of cats.. Etc and so on.

Bad facilities”
The Antico Palazzo Rospigliosi Hotel in Rome is located next to a nice square and quite close to the turistic centres. The staff is very nice. The big problem with the hotel are the facilities: The rooms are tiny. no desks in the rooms. The batherooms are very old and small, no gym, the dining room is small, the windows are old and the nise from the street during day and night is unbarable, the internet disconnects nonstop... The hotel is not cheap at all though. I would not go back. Just find another place.

Great stay at your hotel. ”
We would highly recommend this hotel. The history of the building itself is very interesting. The chapel inside, and the library area just beautiful. My sister and I and a girlfriend stayed in a triple room which was very spacious and even had a refrigerator. We walked from this hotel to all the major sights (except the Vatican) and then the next day walked to the train station and easily transferred to the cruise port. Perfect location. Thanks for a wonderful Rome experience!
