budget pension with clean room near Caalan beach
if you telephone them, their tricycle will pick you up in El Nido for 70p. Many of the local trike drivers refuse to go down this path, it is narrow is placed and rough. If you have only light bags or trying to save money, it's easily walkable and has the most breathtaking views. The place seems a bit run down , everything a bit old and the staff disinterested. But the room was clean enough and have Aircon , even though it says fan room on your booking. The chef was busy the night we stayed so no restaurant meant we had to search around. There was very little budget options , for breakfast only there is a cheap and tasty toro-toro place. There are only the resorts with foreigner prices on the beach side, and the food was not that good anyway. My budget did not stretch to 2 meals at a resort . we went in wet season , maybe there are more places to eat in dry season . In the end, we ate noodles from the nearby sari-sari store . Hot water , cups and spoons are usually provided free by most Filipino pensions. It was a peaceful night , we met nice Czech couple and chatted with them.

Value for money
If you are looking for a cheap accommodation to stay then this place is for you. All amenities is ordinary don't expect much considering what you've paid. We booked an AC family room with 2 double beds and 1 queen bed which accommodated us all (we are group of 6 with 2 babies), no TV in the room tho. They have tricycle used us shuttle for their guest for free. They also have a resto where u can order your food. Overall are stay was great.

Miles away from anywhere
Great place, rooms are pristine, and the hotel itself is really nice, it is miles from anywhere, the internet is disgraceful, we could not research or arrange anything to do, so we left after 1 night, shame really

Budget friendly basic hostel
Pros: friendly & accomodating staff, arranged tours for us Cons: hardly existing wifi, no toilet paper in the bathrooms, bathrooms hardly ever cleaned, AC did not work properly

I made a mistake for staying here
Place itself is really far and have to pass by a cemetery. Staffs are not friendly, always have a feeling of cause their inconvenience. Price is not included breakfast. The restaurant price are not cheap. Originally we wanted to save money. But pay extra for food and tricycle, plus can't really do night time activities because you have to walk so far to get back if you are drunk. I would rather pay a bit more and get a better place.

Comfy bed away from crowds
This accommodation is in Caalan, 10 mins from the El Nido center and they offer trike pick-up anywhere in the town. The bed was really comfortable, room spacious and clean.

Good value for money
The staff was really accommodating, serving us very tasty breakfast and dinner (when everything else was already closed!). They offered free tricycle to town but the property was not so far away (15 min walk). Room was spacious and clean - the only downside was the bathroom.

For one night
We moved after one night. The place has no beach area and the shared toilets and showers are too basic. Only one shower worked properly and you have to flush the toilets with a bucket. The room was nice and clean and they have a cosy restaurant. All by all not bad but we found a better place to stay with private bathroom, aircon and tv for the same price....
