"We enjoyed the resort for a relaxing day by the beach and pool but then moved back to Ao nang city to do daytrips to Railay etc as it was cheaper and closer."

Re-visit After Few Years”
Tubkaek is an exclusively quiet beach, soft sand, clear water. Beach Front resort. Renovated rooms. We stay with kids in Family Room this time. First visit we travelled as couple staying in sea view outdoor jacuzzi room. Room price is reasonable but compared to few years back the price is very much hiked up now. Beach chairs provided. Gym facilities not complete. The kids enjoyed its swimming pools though. Beach front restaurant 50m from sea. Good view with Hong islands in the backdrop. Thumb up to restaurant staffs, the two sisters Khun Fa Ti Moh and khun Sa Bi Na. One packed us beach towels for our snorkelling trip. One served us cold towels and water when we returned from an exhaustive boat trip. Really appreciate their service and thoughtful gestures! Along the stretch of Tubkaek, there are few high end resorts with alternative restaurant options, two local seafood restaurants and beach massages. A few long tail boats at beach front for hire, just hop on to go island hoppings.
A hotel with a fabulos view to Hong ilands. A wonderfull location for a calm holiday away from the chaos from Krabi and Aonang. The hotel can have a much better potential, if the atmosphere at the see restaurant will be a little bit animated, some relax music or so. For shure we will return here.
Excellent Resort ”
My husband and I came here for a quiet and relaxing babymoon, and this resort was perfect for that! We got the Jacuzzi suite and we were lucky that the room is beach-facing, and had a beautiful view of the beach! Room was well-cleaned, comfortable and modern with a big balcony. All the hotel staff we came across were very friendly and helpful in answering whatever questions we had about tours or resort activities. Location couldn’t have been more perfect for a beach resort - the beach was literally right there! It’s a private beach so it wasn’t crowded either (unlike the beach in Ao Nang). They had a good breakfast selection (breakfast restaurant view was again, incredible!). There are a few other restaurants along Tubkaek beach worth checking out as well, in addition to the resort restaurant, so you do have options. In terms of water activities, they have kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding, which was fine although I thought they’d have a wider range of water activities. If you’d like a bit of action or shop for souvenirs, you can easily get into Ao Nang, about 20-30 mins from Tubkaek, either by car (1000baht/return trip) or renting a motorbike from the hotel (350baht for 24-hour rental period - we did this and it ended up being SO much fun!). Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Anyavee Tubkaek Beach Resort and are very excited to come back!
The staff is exceptionally friendly. Great to arrange tours of the surrounding islands. Wonderful breakfast. Great place for a honeymoon.
5 years ago this appeared abandoned. Now renovated and extended as well i believe. We stayed in the renovated section. Signs of the original were still present but not a concern - apart from very noisy aircon in room. Bed was firm but comfy. But pillows not that great. Walk in shower was good. Bath looked good but didnt try it. Drapes were dark, area was quiet. Breakfast was pretty good too. Didnt eat anything else there. Staff were great. Very helpful and professional. Fitness room is not worth looking for. There is space for 10 or so guest cars. If full, youll be out on the narrow, windy road which is already jammed with staff vehicles from this and the other resorts along this stretch of beach. Sure there are more plush places to stay on this coast line but none for the cost of this.
Beautiful Hotel ”
This was an amazing hotel. The staff were all wonderful. My son "Titi" adored them. They would all greet him every morning. The staff went above and beyond with everything. Higy recommended. 👌❤
10 Nights of Relaxation ”
The hotel is friendly run hotel where all of the staff always go the extra mile to make sure you have a lovely time. We chose a one bedroom villa with spa bath . Room 201 was close to beach and pool. Very nice with lounge/ dinner/kitchen, bedroom with 4 poster bed, bathroom plus spa room. We had to call to show how to use the spa bath as no instructions given. The WiFi around the hotel was excellent except inside our room. The hotel tried to fix this but was not really successful. It did not really effect our holiday as simply going onto the terrace to pick up the WiFi. Breakfast was okay with a live egg cooking station. Food from the resturant was nice with a mix of styles to meet all palettes. Happy hour between 4pm to 6 pm giving 2 for 1 deal. The hotel location has stunning views however it is away from any areas where you could walk to to get any shopping or other restaurants. Other hotels are close by for change of menus/drinks. Great place to chill out.
The most private place in Ao Nang Beach”
This accommodation is very comfortable. It has private beach in the hotel area. We booked the room with Jacuzzi sea view. This room is very fantastic. We love this hotel and we'll go back to book it again in the next vacation.
what a surprise!!”
excellent resort, great big room, nice pool, beachfront in the paradise. 45 min ride from Krabi airport (800b taxi) will take you to paradise. Great service, everybody so attentive. Loved the restaurant. Our room was decorated for our honeymoon
We enjoyed the tranquility and privacy in Deluxe jacuzzi seaview room which is located on the highest floor. The view was awesome! The resort manager Ms Boh & their GM Ms Su are very friendly. Private beach is a plus point for us, we witnessed the beautiful sunset by the beach. Not forgetting the clean swimming pools are my kids’ fav hangout place. My suggestion to the resort is to increase more english channels and children channels TV programmes. Perhaps can consider to upgrade Gym facilities as well, even better if the resort could also prepare sand play tools for the kids too. Do remember prepare mosquito repellent with you to Krabi, they can be really annoying sometimes! Overall we have a good vacation in this resort.
Affordable & nice but a little old”
Overall the stay was fine. Hotel and rooms quite large. Hotel probably needs a bit of a renovation though - seems as thought this hasn't happened for a while. Breakfast choice was fine but quality not amazing.
One of the cheapest but still very good hotel on the beach”
I love this hotel and already stayed there few times. Everything is very good. The restaurant could be better (we used neighbors one). And sometimes there really tons of trash on the beach. Even clearing it few times per day does not help well :(
Lovely looking place, amazing architecture. The room with pool access was impressive and very clean. All staff particularly the breakfast ones was very welcoming, friendly and polite.Breakfast i found very good and the many choices changed daily, also the view from breakfast room was simply stunning. However the one evening meal i had in the restaurant was tiny, well overpriced and not very nice but walk a little up the lovely beach and theres a seafood restaurant very resonably priced with lots of choice.
Lovely resort with beautiful beach”
I stayed here for 3 nights. The location is remote but beautiful. Breakfast was excellent, a buffet with lots of options. Good spacious clean luxurious room, tea and coffee facilities, water, safe, fridge freezer, two huge comfy beds and chairs, great shower,, balcony with table and chairs. Bath on the balcony!. Two pools. Staff were very friendly and helpful, towels at beach, Restaurant good but more expensive than most. No ATM. .Lots of steps so maybe unsuitable for some. Not sure if there were lifts. Would definitely stay again and recommend.
Great resort - if you want to chill for a weekend and not do much besides lie at the beach and the pool, this is great. Good facilities and beach is essentially private. However, be careful if you go during rainy season. It's a bit far from any town. If you have a rainy day, there's not much to do at the resort. Breakfast buffet was solid and the seating area has fantastic views out over the ocean.
All is fine and spotless. You must know that the locaiton is very beautifull, (directly at beachfront with fine views of all the islands) but far away from everything (restaurants and nightlife about 10KM away..). Be prepared for a quiet yet relaxing holiday !
The room up top i stayed has so very nice of the view. Not very impressed with the bed as it is so low, you have to have some strength to be able to move up from the soft and really low bed without having splash back pain then hit your legs with the wooden edge round the bed. Air-con needed to be replaced, howling bad all day and night on top of the nice crickets n birds lovely noise that i'd rather hear.
Very good value for money. Big rooms, perfect beach with nice view”
The place is really nice. The room is big, have a giant bed, both shower and a bath. Everything is nicely decorated, there is a lot of plants and flowers everywhere. The beach is really good and have a nice view. The breakfast is very good as well. And, yeah, traveler should understand that this place is far from everything. The only drawbacks I have found are: The restaurant could be better. We prefer the neighbor one. No little children life-jackets for kayaking.
Relaxing stay at Tubkaek”
Hotel is on Tubkaek, consider quiet beach further away from the busy area. It was very relaxing stay with hotel atmosphere. This comes more handy when we can hire longtail boat at the beach in front of the hotel, which ll take roughly 30 mins to get to Ko Hong. We ll definitely stay at Anyavee hotel again for our next Krabi vacation.
Value for money”
Tubkaek (Thap-kaak) is a fairly secluded beach. It's not exactly clean, but it is very nice with white, powdery sand, beach that slopes gently into the sea and the view was just amazing. We also got to enjoy this magnificent view, in particular the sunset, from our room as we had booked the sea view jacuzzi room. The room itself was really spacious, and had a kitchenette which came in very handy for our takeaways. The jacuzzi worked, in spite of reviews that said it didn't, but we did have to clean it thoroughly of leaf debris etc before use. It was placed on the balcony so you could have a bath whilst soaking up the breathtaking sunset. Breakfast was good but there is room for improvement in terms of variety. There were two (or three?) pools on the property and since this was the low season, we more or less had them to ourselves. Let me see, what else? Oh yes, there was a blackout in the early hours of the morning the second night we were there. It got really warm so my husband rang reception several times but there was no answer. The power came back on after some time (can't tell after how long because I drifted back to sleep). There was another brief blackout during our stay. In a nutshell, for the price that we paid, Anyavee Tubkaek was an absolute bargain and the room, view and ambiance made our 3D2N stay a truly mesmerising experience. We would go back there in a heart beat!
