Best hotels & accommodations in Ao Por

We went in low season and only stayed for one evening as we were getting a transfer boat from the neighbouring Ao Po Grand Marina. It was very quiet due to low season. We had a beautiful room and our own jacuzzi which was fantastic! Lovely big breakfast before we left and the staff were incredibly accommodating, polite and helpful. I would only really recommend it to p...

My wife and I have visited Thailnad five times but had never stayed in the Au Por area of Phuket. The Supalai is isolated if your looking for close shopping, however if your looking for a good quality hotel with good facilities and dining in a quiet area away from the crowds this is it. Enjoyed our stay there Hotel staff were efficient and friendly will stay there agai...

Just for a night stay stay but it’s a fabulous experience as the host Gan is really welcoming and helpful. Simple and clean room with simple amenities and drinking water. They owned a small local eatery just next to Door, very tasty local food. It’s a good location for those whose planning to travel out from Ao Po or Bang Rong Pier. There’s a local supermarket just 30...

More about Ao Por
Facing the islands of Barama Bay and Naka Yai, Ao Por is a popular launching point for boat trips exploring neighboring islands, and now also has its own world-class 200-berth marina. With 24-hr, all-tide access, Ao Po Grand Marina is situated in the best cruising grounds in The Kingdom.
The best way to get around Ao Por is by on foot along the beach. However, taxi cabs are readily available to take visitors to other parts of the island, and motor-scooters are available for hire. Despite being just a 15-minute drive from the myriad dining, shopping and nightlife options of Phuket Town, and 20 minutes from the airport, the Ao Por peninsula remains a largely undeveloped and tranquil part of the island. A few luxury hotels and resorts have been built here in natural surroundings, including the five-star Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa which boasts an 18-hole championship course designed by the legendary Jack Nicklaus.
