The location is close to the station around 5-10mins pleasant walk, Lawson convenient store right in front of the hotel. Currently offering simple coffee and bread breakfast for free. The bedding was really nice and I rested so well. It’s so close to the sea side park too. I recommend this place very much.

APA usually always provides a good place to stay and this was no different. The room was very comfortable after a long day driving and the staff were friendly. We wanted to stay an extra night but the price increased a lot which was a shame.

Decent for a cheap stay”
My husband and I went for a getaway and booked this hotel because it was cheaply priced and had pretty decent reviews. When checking in we found out there were only 5 parking spaces and it was ¥800 a day. The in room massage was unavailable for us because we did not speak Japanese. The room was a bit small, but good for us staying for the evening. The door was very scratched up, the room had tears in the wallpaper, and it was hot and uncomfortable. The AC only works while you are in the room and the key is placed in the wall, the room was stuffy and smelled like it has not been aired out in quite some time. The pillows were hard and very flat. We ended up leaving after only being in the hotel a few hours to go to another hotel about 2 minutes away. It may be better on the cooler months. The hotel wasn't the right stay for us, but it may be because we don't know Japanese as well as we should.

Even though I requested for non smoking room, I could still smell the smoke around the room. I informed the staff the next morning and asked them to spray some air freshener to get rid of the smoke smell. They did it and gave me 2 bottles of mineral water. The room is pretty small. It is pretty far to walk with heavy and huge luggages.

Standard chain hotel in Japan. Good value, clean but very small. Do note that the hotel does provide parking but there are very few lots (approx. 6-7 only). Hence if there aren't any more guest lots, you would have to pay for parking located about 150m away. Do note there are 2 APA hotels in Aomori. This one is further away from the train station. We made a mistake and first went to the one nearer the train station. I do not recommend staying at that APA hotel if you have a lot of luggage. There is a huge staircase at the entrance of the APA hotel nearer to the train station. That hotel has even less parking too! Just 2 lots for guests.

Softest bed among 3 hotels! ”
Location is 9-10 mins easy walk from Aomori train station. Requested for a higher floor quiet room and we were assigned 701 on the highest floor with partial views of the Bridge, sea & A shaped building (Tourist promotion board) - totemo shiawase desu!!! Twin room was spacious with a huge TV! Beds were the softest and thus very comfy ... Though we did not partake in the breakfast at 1,100 yen, i did take a look and the selection offered was pretty good I would say. The airport bus stop on Kenri Chodori is only 1 mins walk away, 700 yen and took about 30 mins to reach the Aomori airport. Overall, we enjoyed our 3 nights stay immensely, domo arigato!

This was our second stay at an APA hotel. Our first was in Sapporo. At both locations the staff was exceedingly helpful and made our visit to the city more enriched with their guidance. They were patient and pleasant despite our lack of Japanese language and managed to perfectly meet our requests. The rooms are clean and updated, comfortable and welcoming. The complimentary amenities unexpected. I cannot recommend the APA hotels enough. We are still on our month-long trip and I am sure we will stay with them again.

I stay at here for 4 nights. Hotel looks very brand new decoration. It is located about 10 mins straight walk on Amentity Street from Aomori Station. Lots of convenient stores and restaurant along the sides. My room is equiped with 40"+ screen TV which wonderful for watching.

Simple hotel, not expecting much except a good night's sleep. Staff were friendly and helpful. Basic amenities in the room provided; towels, soap, shampoo. Not that far from Aomori Station, about 10 to 15 mins walk depending on your speed.
