Roof Baths!”
I love this hotel, and I love the baths on the roof. The night view of Kanazawa City is great. The Hotel is in a good location for food, entertainment, and getting to the castle and gardens.

Reasonable price and service”
It's comfortable place to stay. It took about 20 mins to Kanazawa Station by bus, but it's still very convenient. There are many different kinds of restaurants around the hotel.

Very small/narrow rooms”
Had to book a weekend room 2 weeks before arriving to Kanazawa so there weren't many hotel options at the time. The hotel is decent and in a very active location especially at night. It is about 15 minutes walk to the seafood market. Room was very tight and narrow. Two people cannot enter the room at the same time. Not worth $200 USD/night.

Cool location, small but comfy rooms”
The rooms were a little cramped, but certainly no more than any other typical hotel in Japan. Staff friendly and helpful. There's a rooftop onsen to relax in after a long day's walking, with views over the city. The hotel has an eco-friendly policy, explained on a little card in your room, where you can opt to have your room tidied but the sheets and towels not replaced Nice place, would definitely stay again. Probably the best choice of the APA hotels in Kanazawa purely for location.

Value for money”
The room I stayed was small but good enough for two persons. Good facilities in the room which was tidied up everyday, neat and clean. A bonus in the hotel for guests was the free onsen at the top floor. Many tourist attractions in KanazAwa were within walking distance.

Convenient location”
Hotel is located conveniently in the central area of Kanazawa city and is near major shopping malls and sightseeing spots such as the Kanazawa Castle and Kenrokuen Garden. The lobby is full of cigarette smell, which is quite irritating, but the rooms are very clean and tidy, and a range of amenities are provided.

Centric and confortable”
A centric hotel, with most Kanazawa sights within walking distance and well communicated with the station by bus. Rooms are small, but bearable. The open air bath at the roof is very nice.

Convenient to downtown and nightlife”
This is a typical APA Hotel with all the standard features. The rooms are small and tidy. I liked the view of the backsides of the city buildings. The onsen on the roof is a special feature and the view and open air make it nice treat. Otherwise, there is lots of shopping, many many restaurants, and several major city sites are all basically within walking distance. A short bus ride to the train station.

Great location”
I booked online two days before arriving and got a good price. The room was clean. The onsen is small but wonderful especially after a bitterly cold day; something special about being in a hot bath with snow falling on you all while in your birthday suit. The staff are pleasant. It is an impersonal hotel: there is a key drop box in front of the elevator so you don't have to talk to anyone when checking out. There's a Seattle's Best coffee in the lobby. The hotel offers a breakfast deal there. I didn't take the deal. The only time I took any transit was to and from the station.

Exceptional”
Very clean and conveniently located hotel for a good price. Rooms are quite small but has everything you need! Fresh linens, towels, bath robes, slippers, and toiletries. Staff is very helpful. Walking distance from Kenrokuen Garden and the Castle Park. Would definitely stay here again.

lovely hotel, staff need to improve their english”
staff were friendly and lovely however nobody spoke English enough I left my wedding ring in the room and checked out, I rang 4 times and tried to speak to 4 different people who did not understand a word of what I was saying. I emailed and got no reply, I had to ask the staff of a different hotel to ring them and explain and had happened. They did send me my ring. Outdoors onsen was a treat however indoors and outdoors onsen looked old and were in need of renovations. ONE washing machine available only! And 300 yen a wash + 100 yen for washing power - too expensive and not enough machines for a HUGE hotel.

budget hotel in a central location”
For a very reasonable price I had a clean, comfortable bed and a private bathroom. The room had fast wired internet (not WiFi) included. The hotel had a convenient breakfast buffet consisting of western and Japanese fare, however there are many better eating options a only short walk away.

Good location but tiny room”
This hotel is very no-frills. There's not a great deal to recommend it beyond its location. If you don't want to be near the train station (about a 12-min walk away) or stay in a ryokan, this hotel is a decent choice as it's near a number of cultural and historical places worth visiting, and in just about any direction you walk in there are numerous excellent restaurants, cafes, and pubs.
